Golden Week was over as quickly as it had come. Resu and the others returned to school went about their normal days. The second year girl took great pride in the fact that Mitsurai and her groupies glared her down, but they couldn't do anything now that the principal knew all about their antics.

Resu had been spending more and more time in the gym watching the team's practices. She didn't exactly realize that she was neglecting her club duties until one day Miyu approached her as she was about to enter the gym. Freezing in place, she abruptly apologized for missing the club and expected some sort of punishment, but Miyu only smiled at her.

"Actually, that's why I came to see you. Considering you spend so much time here now I talked it over with Hanazawa-sensei and we both agreed that it'd be better for you to just join the club."

Resu raised a thick eyebrow in addition to a tilt of her head.

"What am I going to do though?"

"Well, basically you're going to be a student supervisor, or a sort of secondary manager," Miyu explained, patting her on the shoulder. "You'll be doing the same things you've been doing, you'll just be officially listed as a member of the club."

"Ah, okay..."

Miyu gave her one more pleasant grin before waving goodbye and going on her way. Resu, still a bit confused, slipped into the gym and sat herself down on the bleachers. She pulled out her laptop as she had been doing for several days and tapped away on it, occasionally looking up at the boys every now and then.

As the sky grew dark she was still focused on the screen, staring at it with narrowed eyes. Takeda-sensei wandered over to her and leaned over her shoulder with a curious expression.

"How's it going?"

"Okay, I think I just need to fix a few things and it'll be done," Resu said, pausing her typing for a moment. "Unfortunately it was a bit outdated so I had to ask my sister for help, but it should work fine."

"What are you guys talking about?" Daichi asked before wiping his forehead with a towel and joining the two. Takeda-sensei smiled proudly.

"Resu-kun volunteered to revamp the website for the volleyball team!"

"A website?" Asahi repeated as the rest of the team made their way over to look at Resu's laptop. She shrank back in slight disgust; personally, she didn't like being surrounded by sweaty teenage boys that just got done practicing a sport. Her nose twitched and she grimaced.

"Yeah. It came to me when I was watching your practice match," she explained. "I checked out some other teams to see if they had one, and then I checked yours'... It was horrible. It looked like it was from the early '90s."

She placed her laptop slightly in front of her and clicked around a few times before a webpage opened up, decked out in the team's signature colors of orange and black. A banner showing the team as a group sat above several links and images.

"I put profiles of all you guys up as well as the dates for your upcoming matches," Resu said, scrolling down a bit to show them a calendar. "There's also a commenting system that allows people to say things about the team or on your individual pages."

She clicked on Daichi's page and it showed a few images of him neatly put together. Some of his information was written on the side and there were a few comments below.

"Do people really need to know me like that...?" He asked with an uncomfortable smile to which Resu shrugged.

"I just went off what other sites had about their players. Most of the comments have been about your appearances and some of them were rather...not nice. I deleted those ones though."

"What's that thing?" Tanaka asked, moving a bit closer and pointing to something on the screen.

"Ah, that...is a popularity poll," Resu answered quietly, avoiding the team's questioning stare. "The other schools had one!" She hissed defensively.

She moved to another page with a low sigh, her eyes scanning the text.

"The top three seem to be Sugawara, Kageyama, and Tsukishima."

"Why Kageyama?" Hinata asked as the black-haired boy made a move to smack him.

"I dunno. I guess girls think he looks serious and cool. What I want to know is why Tsukishima," Resu nearly spat out his name with a disgusted look in his direction.

"Tsukki has lots of girls confess to him!"

"Shut up, Yamaguchi."

"Sorry, Tsukki."

Resu rolled her eyes and moved them back to the screen. "All of you are pretty close to each other though, vote-wise. Which isn't really that surprising considering you're all at the least moderately attractiv-"

The room froze. Resu didn't dare move a muscle as she realized the words she had spoken. She put on a blank smile and slowly shoved her laptop into her bag, standing up stiffly.

Then she ran.

She did not get far, however, as Nishinoya dived towards her and grabbed her legs, stopping her getaway and knocking her off her feet. Resu lifted her bag up to avoid smashing her laptop and glared at the short boy.

"L-Let me go!" She snarled, her face growing more heated by the second.

"Only if you finish what you were saying!" He grinned at her, avoiding her kicks to throw him off.

Tanaka, laughing loudly, pinned Resu's other leg down and the two held her in place as she struggled to escape. Asahi was hiding his face in his hands, embarrassed at Resu's carefree statement as Sugawara and Daichi watched the second years with disappointment. Hinata and Yamaguchi were both blushing slightly while Tsukishima only reveled in Resu's mistake. Kageyama was slightly confused.

With low growl she swiped at their faces with her long fingernails, effectively distracting them long enough to scramble to her feet and book it out the door. Not even caring about her bag anymore as the mocking calls of "Resu-chaaaan~" followed her, she looked around for the easiest way to throw them off her trail. Her eyes locked onto a nearby tree and she quickly dashed over to it, climbing as far up as she could and hiding herself in the branches.

"Eh? Where'd she go?" Tanaka asked, looking around in surprise.

"She couldn't have gone that far..." Nishinoya said, narrowing his eyes as he looked at their surroundings.

"She's up there," Tsukishima said bluntly, pointing at the tree she was hiding in.

"Damn you Tsukishima..." Resu hissed quietly as the boys yelled at her from the ground. She backed up against the tree trunk, holding tightly onto the branch she was sitting on.

"Resu, you should get down from there, you might get hurt..." Asahi whimpered, watching her with a worried gaze.

"I'm not getting down," Resu grumbled stubbornly before crossing her arms under her chest loosely. Nishinoya stood on Tanaka's shoulders in an attempt to reach her, but she was too far up. She snickered at their attempts and leered at them between leaves.

She was not laughing for long, however, as a volleyball connected with her face, knocking her off the branch and sending her plummeting towards the ground. She landed with a hiss, rubbing her back as the boys rushed over to her. Remarkably, she was relatively unharmed, except for a bloody nose. Resu pinched the bridge of her nose and glared at the team.

"Alright, who did that?" She asked in a nasally voice, wiping off the blood spilling onto her lip with her free hand.

"I didn't m-mean to hit you that hard," Kageyama replied in an uncharacteristically fearful tone before pointing angrily at Tsukishima, who flinched. "Tsukishima told me to do it!"

"I was joking. Clearly you can't differentiate between the two," he said dryly, rolling his eyes.

Resu heaved a long sigh, accepting the tissue Asahi offered her to wipe her nose. She tilted her head back and stared at the sky, which was now nearly black. Why are these boys such a handful? Resu didn't realize she would be asking herself that question so much.

The team, however, knew that it was a good idea not to mention the previous event that had caused all this because Resu would most likely have all their heads. After all this she remembered she had to stay a bit later to clean the gym thoroughly and she groaned, telling them to get a move on so she could start cleaning. The boys bid her goodbye and set off while she dug the cleaning supplies out of the closet.

Resu enjoyed cleaning on occasion but tonight was not one of those times. It took her around an hour or so to clean the whole thing and once she was done, she was utterly exhausted. She shoved the supplies back in the closet rather carelessly, silently promising to put them away properly in the morning. With a large yawn, she grabbed her previously discarded bag and slung it onto her shoulder, absently wondering if her siblings would be home or not.

Resu locked the gym doors, tucking the keys safely inside her jacket before turning to descend the few steps. She nearly jumped out of her skin when she saw a figure slumped against the stairs but relaxed slightly when upon further inspection she realized it was only Asahi.

"What is he still doing here?" She whispered to herself before kneeling next to him. Resu took his relaxed features and lightly shut eyes as a sign that he was sleeping and she frowned.

"Was he waiting for me? Really now..." She exhaled quietly and looked around almost suspiciously.

What should I do? I suppose the normal thing would be to wake him, but he looks so peaceful... Ah, I know. Resu pulled out her phone and sent a message to someone before setting down her bag.

Asahi woke up with his memory in a haze, opting to not open his eyes until he figured out what he'd been doing. A moment later he realized that he had been waiting for Resu outside the gym and he must've fallen asleep. Strangely, though, he could smell a faint apple scent from where he was.

The third year cracked his eyes open slightly only to see a dark shade of brown, jutting out haphazardly against the dark night sky. With a jolt, he recognized the shape as a part of the wild mane of hair belonging to no one other than Resu, who was carrying him piggyback-style at a moderate pace. Asahi nearly shrieked at the situation and Resu jumped a little bit at the noise, her grip tightening on the back of his thighs.

"Ah, you're awake," she said rather casually, turning her head to the side to look at him. "You fell asleep while you were waiting for me. I asked Sugawara for your address, I hope you don't mind."

Asahi wanted to respond with words but his voice failed him and he instead opted to only make a weak noise so Resu knew that he heard her. He was only glad that she couldn't see his face because he was blushing furiously, even more so as he remembered her words from this afternoon. The flustered boy resisted burying his face in her hair to hide the embarrassment on his face, but realized that would only make things worse.

In the midst of being nervous he was also a bit surprised that Resu could carry him with such ease. Had she really carried him all this way from the school? Asahi felt his face heat up even more.

Resu finally let him off her back in front of his house and his hands were shaking. What should he say? Would it be weird to say thank you? His eyes darted everywhere but Resu, who smiled at him.

"Thank you for waiting for me. You really didn't have to, you know."

Asahi started at her words and swallowed his nerves in order to reply.

"A-Ah, no, it's fine, I didn't m-mind..."

Resu glanced at her phone screen before hissing quietly and shoving it back in her pocket, dipping her head slightly.

"I should get going. See you at school!" She waved goodbye before taking off at a sprint, leaving behind a very confused Asahi, who laid a hand over his heart uncertainly.
