Chapter 48 Part.1

DRAKE-

The clubs are crazy down in Houston, bad chicks everywhere, Lei had to keep them and me in check throughout the night. But damn, it was amazing to get turnt with Lil Wayne and Birdman.

So it's our last day in Houston, and Wayne wanted to meet up with me one last time before we left.

"Wassup man? I see you barely making it today too," he chuckled as he dapped me

"Yea, last night was wild," I chuckled as I sat down

"So, we need to get started on an official Mixtape for you, I have studio space in your city, so there's no need for you to move down here. And I'll be up there frequently checking on your progress."

"That was going to be my next question, my girl would flip if I had to move out here."

"Yea, I've been there. Speaking about her, I was hoping that you would be single when I signed you."

"Why?"

"Mainly because you're going to be attracting a big female fanbase, and they feel some type of way when you're in a relationship."

"That makes sense I guess, but that's the love of my life we're talking about.."

"And I get that man, I've been there, just make sure you claim her in public, let everyone know what's up. But I'm telling you this now, the girls out there are not going to respect that a young nigga like you is in a relationship, just watch yourself."

Everyone word he said was exactly right, I just need something to show Leilani, I'm not going anywhere.

LEILANI-

"Hey dad I'm home," I said as I opened the front door

He was sitting on the couch with some woman and a little girl,

"Leilani?" he gasped "I thought you were coming home Monday.."

"No, who are these people?"

"Hi, I'm Jasmine, it's nice to finally meet you," the woman stood up and hugged me "And this is Angel," she pointed to the little girl

"Uh yea.."

"Can you have a seat please?" my dad asked

"What's going on?"

"I don't really know how to put this but, this is your little sister and your soon to be Mom."

"Huh?!" I gasped

Silence filled the air as I tried to make sense of this whole situation.

"I've been wanting to tell you this for a while, all those business trips have actually been me going to visit them."

"So you lied to me the whole time?" I chuckled sadly

Again, someone I put all my trust in completely breaks my heart, who would've thought it be my own father?

"I was waiting for the right opportunity, I-"

"The right opportunity was when I first moved here with you dad!"

"I was afraid you'd change your mind."

"Well you got that correct, you got me fucked up."

"Leilani you need to bring the attitude down, that is no way to talk to your father!"

Did she just tell me what to do?

"Don't say shit to me lady!" I spat "You don't run a damn thing around here."

"Oh mommy! She say a bad word!"

I ran up to my room and slammed the door behind me as hot tears ran down my face. Fuck, how could he just replace my mom like that, and he has a child with this woman? I can't even believe this.

There was light knock on the door,

"Can I come in please?" Angel's soft voice asked on the other side

"Sure.." I said lowly as I wiped the tears from my face

"Please don't hate me," she sniffled as she looked down

"I.. I don't hate you," I got out of bed and knelt down in front of her

"I've been waiting to meet you forever, daddy's told me so much about you, and how we're twins."

I smiled a little as I observed her, green eyes like me, curly brown hair, cute nose, and extremely long eyelashes, we basically are twins.

"This is just a lot for me to handle," I moved some of the hairs our of her face, this little girl is beyond adorable.

"Well, we can get through this together!" she smiled

"We can try, how old are you?"

She smiled and held up four fingers,

"You are a very smart 4 year old," I chuckled

"That's what my mommy says, can we watch Spongebob?"

"Spongebob? Sure"

I sat down on my bed and she hopped on next to me, lying her head on my lap.

"I really love this teddy bear!" She grabbed the stuffed animal Aubrey got me that one time we went to the Carnival

"Oh yea? My boyfriend got it for me," I smiled

"You have a boyfriend?" she giggled

He's the only person that can put a smile on my face these days~
