Chapter 27

Echo POV

"Your phone's making noise." Jade says.

"I think she knows that." Erik says.

"You don't know what she knows." Jade argues.

"I know you're being obnoxious." Erik says back.

"Can you shut that phone up?" I ask covering my ears as Tori's phone was making an awful noise and it was hurting my ears.

"Why does it keep.. Robbie can you please unplug the cord count to three then plug it back in?" Tori says as Robbie does what he's told.

"Why don't you do it? I mean unplug the white charging box from the long ass extension instead of disconnecting the whole thing?" I ask raising a brow at Robbie who was kissing the cable after saying 'I love grandma' until Jade yelled at him to plug it back in.

"Why's your phone all jacked?" Andre asked, I guess my question went either ignored or unanswered.

"You tell me it should work fine." Tori says.

"How many times have you dropped it in the toilet?" Andre asks.

"Only three!" Tori says making me chuckle.

"Anyway now it won't stay charged so I have to keep it plugged in all the time." Tori says.

"Just get a new phone." Erik says.

"Don't give her advice." Jade says glaring.

"I was just-"

"Well don't."

"Man you make me happy!" Erik says in an angry way before they both made a sound and a face making me sigh again, this day has not started well.

"Can't you buy some good portable batteries?" I ask.

"You really should get a new pearphone." Andre says drowning my question yet again.

"If I buy a new pearphone now, I have to get another GX. But people say the pearphone XT might come out next month." Tori answers Andre.

"Know what I'll just stay quiet and not ask any more question that will end up being ignored." I say angrily crossing my arms over my chest and lean back on my seat making Beck glance at me and shake his head wrapping his hand around me.

"Just buy another GX." Cat says.

"No, if I buy the GX then the new XT will come out the next day and then I'll be stuck with the stupid GX while everybody else has the cool new XT." Tori says, I would've told her to go buy a used one then since they're much cheaper but since she doesn't listen then I'm not.

"Hey, if we're gonna keep talking about Tori's phone could someone please take me to a car door so that I can slam my face with it?" Jade says.

"I have a car." Erik says making me raise a brow at him.

"Oh." Jade says sarcastically but glaring at him.

"Hey, I have an announcement." Sinjin says as he bursts into the room making Tori stand up.

"Is it about the new pearphone XT?" She asked.

"No, sit down. You guys know that game show I invented, queries for couples?" Me and Beck looked at each other weirdly.

"Queries?" I mumble to Beck who shrugged just as confused as me.

"What about your game show?" Andre asks.

"Well, I met with the people from Gamegoober.com and told them about the idea and they want to do it." Sinjin says.

"Great bye." Jade says making me chuckle.

"Wait, I'm doing a rehearsal of the show tomorrow night for the guy who runs game goober." Sinjin says.

"Harvey Goobenstein?" Andre asked.

"Yep, and I want all you guys to come, even Robbie." Sinjin says making me roll my eyes and we all started trying to tell him we didn't want to go.

"I'll text everyone the deets." He says happily before skipping out the class singing 'la, la, la' messing Tori's hair before leaving and Beck and I look at each other before shaking our heads before Tori's phone started making noise again.

"Alright I can't take that phone anymore." Jade says.

"Will you fix that chiz?" Rex says as the room started complaining again about the noise.

"Ok, fine, I'll just unplug it." Tori says pulling the cord and making Robbie fall to the ground making me bite my lip to keep from laughing.

"This is why I ask why she couldn't unplug it from the own charger." I mumble making Beck shake his head.

"Oh my god.. are you ok?" Tori asks.

"Yeah." Robbie groans from the floor.

"Would you plug it back in?" She asks making me shake my head with a giggle hiding on Beck's chest while Robbie groaned.

"I can't believe we actually came here." I mumble angrily with my hands crossed. I was sitting up front next to Jade who had my brother at the other side and I had Beck on my other side with his hand resting on my seat around my shoulders.

"Tell me about it." Jade says back just before Sinjin came on the stage.

"Hello, and welcome to Northridge." Sinjin says making some Northridge girls at the end clap.

"Thank you for being here at the first rehearsal of my own game show, queries for couples." Sinjin says as people awkwardly clapped and Tori started passing the large extension down the line.

"Uh, before we start, I'd like to introduce the wonderful man who runs Gamegoober.com, Mr. Harvey Goobenstein." I looked behind me to see the man stand up and.. he didn't look like he had a lot of hope for this. Sinjin probably just drove him crazy begging and annoying him so he did this to get him off his back.. or maybe the man was just uninterested in everything.

"And now, it's time for.." Sinjin just stood there as if waiting for something.

"Sinjin's game show." Cat says standing up.

"It's called queries for couples." Sinjin says, well at least Cat said something and not let you hanging.

"Wall." Sinjin says smiling before the bored behind him started raising and oh my god.. I get that this game is for couples but maybe he should've gotten better looking ones.. this is supposed to be a show after all.

"Now let's meet our contestants. Couple number one hails from Burbank-" Sinjin started before being interrupted by Goobenstein.

"Hey, hey, rag top!" He says walking in a hurry towards Sinjin as I lay my head on Beck's shoulder and he lays his head on mine kissing it.

"I sorta feel bad for him." I whisper.

"Which one?" He asks making me giggle.
