Chapter 21

Echo POV

"So how did it go last night?" Beck asks as we walk inside the school.

"It went great, we finished the sing after all." I say before we saw Andre and Tori.

"Oh hey." I say.

"What's up?"

"So, can I hear the song?" I ask.

"Uh, oh yeah, I just, I just gotta-" We all look at a bouncing Cat who said hi while still bouncing and giggling before saying bye.

"So the song?" I say fixing my bag.

"Hm?" Andre asks making me raise a brow.

"Echo wants to hear the song you guys recorded together." Tori says.

"Oh, yeah, yeah. I'll email it to you, you know, via the internet." I blink raising a brow a bit confused.

"Via?" I ask.

"Don't you think you guys should listen to the song together?" Beck asks scratching his head a bit.

"No why together? She can listen to it by herself. I didn't do anything." Andre says.

"Are you ok, Andre?" I ask a bit worried.

"Yeah, I'm fine." He says still a bit fidgety but I figured he would tell me if he wanted so I didn't push.

"Ok, email it to me." I say taking Beck's hand.

"Via the internet?" Beck asks.

"That was a bit weird wasn't it?" I ask as he nods.

"Well we better get to class." I say pulling him with me.

Third Person POV

Andre found himself in front of Tori's house ringing the bell as Tori's mom opened the door.

"Oh, hi Andre come on in." She says opening the door wider."

"Thanks." He says walking in.

"Is Tori expecting you?" She asked.

"Yeah, she asked me to come over tonight for something. I don't know." Andre says.

"Tori Andre's here to see you! Well I'm gonna head to the market." She says while taking her bag and keys.

"Oh, make sure you pick up some more of that Belgium cocoa." Andre says while taking a seat.

"Alright." She says a bit perplex before walking out just as Tori walks down the stairs.

"So what did you call me here for?" Andre asks her.

"We need to talk about your feeling for Echo." Tori says taking a seat next to him.

"I know, but I just don't know what to do." Andre says.

"Look I know she's beautiful, and sweet, and kind, lovable.. ok I should stop complementing her." Tori says.

"You think I don't know that? She's amazing, but ever since we met she's been with Beck. Every guy at our school has a crush on her and she's so understanding towards those who are close to her which just makes it even worse." Andre says freaking out.

"But the worst thing.." Andre starts before taking a pillow from beside him hugging it close to him.

"Last night, after I got home.." Andre started again.

"Yeah?" Tori says for him to continue.

"I couldn't sleep, so I stayed up till dawn writing a song about Echo." Andre says melting Tori's heart.

"You wrote her a song? That's so sweet." Tori says.

"It's evil! She's Beck's girlfriend." Andre says getting up and giving Tori his back as he heads to the kitchen.

"I know, I know." Tori says getting up after him till an idea came to her.

"Ok, ok. Wait, wait, wait, wait." Tori says making Andre look at her.

"What?" He asks.

"The song you wrote about her, you expressed your feelings in that song right?" Tori asks as Andre takes a seat on the table looking at her.

"Yeah?" He says not understanding where this was going.

"So, just sing Echo that song and then you can get over her." Tori says.

"If I sing her the song then she's gonna know how I feel. And then Beck will know, and then I'm a bad person. And I promised my grandma I'd never be a bad person.. you know before she lost her mind." Andre says getting up from the table and taking a seat on an actual chair.

"Echo doesn't have to know the song's about her." Tori says as Andre eats some nuts.

"Her name's in it like 10 times." He says before realizing he doesn't like nuts.

"Oh, I hate nuts!" He says before spitting them out in a small plate by him.

"So change all the 'Echo's to 'baby'." Tori says.

"Baby', yeah 'baby' could be anybody." Andre says as Tori nods.

"Uh-huh then you sing your song tomorrow night at school, the Friday night concert. Echo will be in the audience, you can sing her your song and she'll never know it's for her." Tori says.

"I don't know if I can do it.. I'm feeling very emotional." Andre says placing his hand over his eyes.

"You want me to sing it with you?" Tori asks rubbing his arm comfortably.

"Yes please." He says.

Echo POV

"You look excited." Beck says smiling at me as I nod. We were sitting the back of his truck to enjoy the show.

"I am, I always enjoy Andre's songs." I say happily making him chuckle wrapping his hand around me kissing my cheek.

"Ok, coming up next, we got Andre Harris and Tori Vega singing an original song written by Andre. Give it up everybody!" We hear as we starts clapping and cheering while they get on the stage.

"Uh, is a song I wrote for, uh-" Andre was cut off by Tori who took his mic.

"For his dog." She says making me chuckle.

"I love my dog." Andre says before the song started. And like every time I enjoy listening to it and it will probably be stuck in my head for while. Me and Beck clapped to the beat of the song moving our heads enjoying it and cheered loudly when he finished singing. We make our way towards them when it was done cheering for them.

"That was an amazing song." I say while hugging Andre before pulling away and look at him smiling. He stays quiet just looking at me which causes me to tilt my head about to ask what was wrong when.

"Hey, they have spaghetti tacos over there!" Rex says and they all started to go there.

"Come on, I want some." Beck says wrapping his hand around my shoulders.

"I'll catch up to you I wanna ask Andre something first." I say and Beck nods kissing my cheek heading to wherever they had the tacos and I look at Andre.

"Spill, I know you're hiding something." I say crossing my arms and Tori looks nervous but Andre seems even more nervous than her.

"And don't say it's nothing cause you've been acting weird towards me for a while now. So tell me, was it something I did?" I ask a bit worried, I love Andre, of course not the same way I love Beck but I still appreciate his friendship a lot.

"What? No! It's just, I.." He starts but stays quiet.

"Just tell me I won't be mad. But I will be mad if you don't tell me." I say making him sigh and mumble something.

"What?" I ask and he sighs again.

"I wrote that song for you ok?" He asks making my eyes widen.

"And I know it's wrong cause you're Beck's girlfriends and you're both my friends but-" I cut him off by hugging him.

"It's ok, calm down and breath." I say pulling away slowly looking at him.

"You may only have a crush on me Andre but trust me you'll get over it in no time. I know you and I know this must be really messing with you, just don't let Beck know. And for what it's worth I love you the same way I love my brother so I can't really be mad at you or change how I act with you. Just please don't act on it.. and go out with girls." I say chuckling and waving my hand walking away towards Beck.
