Chapter Five

03:30, 10 May 2020

I woke up to the my alarm clock, groaning yet I was used to it all by now. Get dressed, have a shower, brush teeth and hair, put make up over small spots, eat, go to school. The routine was simple now, I've been doing it for years.

Once showered with brushed hair and teeth, I walked down to a plate full of toast. I took a piece and joined my mother in the kitchen. She had her usual red messy bun done without even brushing out, I'm surprised that she doesn't need to brush it first.

"Did you tell Cartman I like crystals yesterday?" I asked out of the blue. "He came to me at 2am with this really expensive one, only you know where to buy them from." She seemed to lose herself in her mind, eyes wide open and she dropped the plate in the sink; smashing it.

"Oh shit! I mean- oops. He asked what he could do to make you happier after he accidentally made you upset, apparently. I said that I buy crystals from that place in town but I didn't expect him to actually get one! How much was it?"

"£145."

"Oh goodness!" She seemed to have a little panic, but I gave her a reassuring smile.

"Hey, I'll talk to him about it when I get the chance and try to convince him to take it back. I don't deserve that as an apology. Though it is nice.."

"Well he obviously cares about you, you should accept it."

"Maybe I should. Oh, I've got to go, bye mom!" I exited the door quickly after grabbing my black backpack. I was dressed in a white hoodie and black jeans with black converse shoes. My hair was done as it normally is, gelled lightly and smart.

The walk to the bus stop was only about 5 minutes, so I took my time along the snowy path. I never trusted it, so I always walked in the snow to avoid any ice. I saw Butters just exiting his house and we shared a smile. He had Stan with his arm around him, waving.

Not wanting to know what they did last night, I slung my arm around Stan's shoulder as if we were all in the same relationship. "Wassup dude!" He cheered, bumping our fists. "You still up for later?"

"Like always!" I replied happily back, gazing at Butters smile. He truly was a cute boy, no wonder why Stan fell for him. They were kinda perfect. Stan needed help and a kind person, he got what he wanted. They were also both kind hearted people, emotional and caring.

"I hope you don't mind me joining." Butters spoke shyly. He worried quite a bit sometimes about how others felt. It was kinda annoying, having him ask multiple times about a clear arrangement.

"Butters, you're, like, my best friend. Of course I want you there cheering us on!" I said back, smiling wider. "Besides, I'd expect you to want to check out Stan while his shirt lifts as he jumps." That stopped him talking, he just grew bright red.

"I don't look at his body! I just..observe."

"Riiiiight." I smirked cheekily and turned my attention to the figures at the bus stop. It was Kenny and Cartman, arguing over something. I separated myself from the couple and went closer to hear what they were scoffing about.

"Get a life Kenneth, you're poor and always high." God not this again.

"At least my moms not a prostitute!" He screeched back, a little offended.

"My moms not the prostitute, you're the prostitute in this town! You've smashed, like, every girl in this town, let alone you're collection of boys."

"Shut up you fat fuck!"

"Guys!" I shouted, standing between them. "Could you not? You're arguing over nothing, it's pointless."

"You just got here." The blonde sneered. "You don't the half of it."

"I don't need to. You're guys' arguments are always pointless and go nowhere. Get over yourselves." That shut them up for once. The bus arrived quicker than usual and I sat at the back, plugging my headphones in until Cartman joined me.

He smiled at my comfy looking position. He crossed his legs and held my hand which was under my phone, looking at what I was looking at. His hands were soft, surprisingly. He smiled then took one of the earbuds and listened too. I could tell that he agreed with me about the argument situation as he was acting kinda clingy all of a sudden.

"Why did you give me that crystal last night?" I asked and he looked at me. "Like, why spend so much for an apology?"

"Because I felt like it was right. Anyway, I'm rich baby!" I cringed a little when he called me baby, but he called people that when he was happy and energetic.

"Okay sugar daddy." I joked and he winked at me.

"Anyday babes." I laughed at his response, nudging him. We both looked at the front of the bus suddenly, an argument brewing at the next stop. I could see the other three looking too, Butters looking too concerned for his own good.

"No, don't push me you fag!" I seemed to remember that voice. It was Trent Boyett. He was back in school, always causing trouble. I could hear a growl as well, it was Craig. He has poor Tweek shivering behind him, Clyde looking like he was either going to cry or whoop some ass, and Token looking somehow calm and collected.

"Don't call me a fag." Craig hissed, holding his boyfriends hand firmly. Fag was often used as an insult in our school, especially to the gays. As I was gay, I found what Trent was saying to be frustrating too. "And I pushed you because you were being rude to my boyfriend. Just leave us alone you cunt."

As he tried to walk away, the other stopped him firmly with his hand. I was scared out of my mind, Trent was nearly as tall as Craig, and both equally strong. Cartman noticed my shaking and scooted towards the window an inch so he could put an arm around my waist to reassure me.

He wasn't scared, he rarely was. He knew when I was scared and sad, always trying to reassure me when no one was looking. He truly was a caring person, he just hated to show it to the world. Once when this 17 looking old boy was calling me a fag and pushed me to the ground, Cartman was there to beat him up good.

As the tension rose, and the driver was old so he couldn't do anything, I gripped onto Cartman's t-shirt and hid my face into him. As soon as everyone knew it, the fight broke out. Everyone was cheering but Butters, Tweek and I were scared shitless.

Fists were thrown everywhere, blood and bruises appeared. Trent suddenly pulled out a pocket knife and the atmosphere was turned so tense I felt like screaming my lungs out. It wasn't until Cartman seemed to show fear and move all the way to the side and hug me that I felt a little safer.

With the warm presence of Cartman and my earbuds returned to my empty ear, I felt myself relax a bit. I looked up, he was gone. I looked at the fight again and he had taken the knife off of him somehow, taking it all so calmly. I nearly ran out to him until Trent sat down with no words.

I was taken aback, how did he do that? As he returned next to me, he shot me a smile and stole the earbud again. "It's over." He stated and I just sat there, lost in my mind.

We soon got to school and Trent was instantly sent to the principals office. At least I didn't have to worry about him. Our group hung out by our lockers for about 10 minutes, gossiping, until the bell rang and I walked with Butters to maths. He was the only friend I had in maths so I sat next to him and we kept a good reputation with the teacher so we could.

It all went by so quick, I was way too smart for what they threw at me. Next was English, I had that with Cartman. As he was the one who didn't behave, we were separated. At least I could talk to Craig about the incident.

He just explained that Trent pushed Tweek in a way he didn't like and made it into a big thing. I was happy that he wasn't hurt too badly, he had to go to the principals office after this lesson as it was break next.

That lesson went by quick too, so I was happy to see everyone again. We sat by a tree and discussed general things, talking about others behind their backs and rating girls from prettiest to ugliest. I voted Nichole #1, she was a sweet friend of mine and was pretty I must say.

After break, it was then science. At least I was stuck with Cartman again, and we did this crazy experiment.

We put these weird chemicals together and it suddenly exploded, which resulted in my jumping back. "Dude!" I exclaimed, watching how Cartman sniggered.

"Baby." He mocked then stepped towards it again. He took notes like nothing happened; and that was basically my science lesson in a small nutshell.

As the end of the day finally came, I joined everyone at the basketball court, Cartman following me. I know that Stan would be annoyed, but he wouldn't leave me alone in History about it. As we arrived, as on cue, Stan glared at the taller brunette boy.

He acted like nothing was on his mind and sat next to Butters and Kenny. The only problem with him watching this time was that he would always insult my raven haired friend, which would usually result in arguments. Stan looked at me as if it was my fault he came, but I just shrugged and tugged off my hoodie so I was in my black tank top.

I bounced the ball in one place for a minute, planning out my strategy. "Dude, just run at me already." Stan moaned and as he stood less defensively, I bounced the ball in the direction of the hoop, jumping up and getting it into the hoop. I cheered in triumph then returned to my side.

Butters was cheering for Stan, while Kenny and Cartman were in it for me. I took this as if it were adrenaline and sprung at my friend as he ran towards me. Hitting it out of his hand, I took control and tried for the hoop again, scoring.

I danced in my spot and watch how he rolled his eyes. "I'm just better at football." Stan spoke up, as if an excuse. I laughed and passed him the ball.

"Football sucks ass." I said jokingly but he took it a bit offensively. Of course he did, the football fan base is pretty strong. I felt him glare at me as he threw the ball at my back. I yelped in slight pain and stared him down. "I was joking you big baby, ugh!"

"Football means as much to me as basketball means to you." He said then walked off like a big baby, Butters following. I rolled my eyes and took a drink from my water bottle. I sat next to Cartman and lied on the grass.

"Great." I sighed and covered the sun with my hand.

"He's such a baby." Kenny mocked and took a mouthful of strawberry laces. "Can't even take an opinion or joke."

"Care to play with me, Jew?" Cartman asked but I shook my head.

"Sorry, he's really put me off." I replied, playing with the grass with my spare hand. "He's so overreactive and annoying sometimes. I knew me spilling my mouth would end up with this disaster."

"Want to come with me to the donut shop, guys? I'm starving." Cartman suggested and we all stood up eagerly. He took that as a yes. "And before you ask, don't worry I have money." That made it even better! If I were to go with Stan he would have taken us all to a salad bar.

I wrapped my hoodie around my waist and there was no Stan in sight. He's so pathetic sometimes. I know he puts his all into football n stuff, but come on! We were soon there as we were all fast walkers and all knew what we were going to order.

Kenny had a lemon donut, I had a strawberry one and of course Cartman got a triple chocolate one. Cartman mocked me for having the one that looked blood filled but I didn't show any interest in his comment.

We all sat down in a little booth and enjoyed the light music playing in the background. We didn't talk much this time, just happy that there was no one to annoy us any thurther.

"So, what are you guys up to tomorrow?" Kenny asked, mouth spotted with lemon icing.

"I've got to take Mr.Kitty to the vets, he's acting weird. I can't today because my moms home so I'm gonna stay out until late; again." Cartman spoke with frustration in his voice.

"I've got to stay with my mom, Tuesdays the day we go out for dinner. Sorry Kenny." I said and blushed as the strawberry jam poured down my face.

"It look like you just ate a girls pussy who's on her period!" Kenny wheezed, laughing his ass off. I glared angrily back and threw the dirty napkin at his top. Now his smile disappeared as he was now covered in the sticky substance.

"You look like a real hobo." Cartman laughed and I joined him. He did, torn top, food all over him, dirty shoes.

After hours of laughter, we all left and I walked home. I saw Cartman separate towards town, probably going to try find something to do all night. Poor him, I felt sorry for him.

I entered the house and saw my mother sewing up a cushion that had been ripped for a week. The tv was on, highlighting a new murder. I sat beside her and pulled out my phone to alert Cartman to be careful.

Kyle: Hey Cartman. Be careful in town, another's murders happened not too long ago.

Fatass: I don't need you mothering me Jew. I know what I'm doing.

I put my phone down as I listened into the horrible natural disasters happening around the world. My mother turned it off, putting on a comedy show instead. "We don't need that negativity right now." She said then looked at her final product.

I agreed with her and enjoyed the show.
