Pt 21

"Who will be picking us up?", Nora ask Taehyun in attempt of fixing the awkward atmosphere. The car ride had been too silent and Nora is not the one to enjoy silence.

"It's Huening Kai's turn", he simply answers and then the car goes silent again. Nora gives up and we just wait for our journey to end. I just wanna get out of here cause I'm having all kinds of thoughts.

"We're here. Good luck both of you", he says and I hurriedly get out fo the car while Nora properly bids him a goodbye.

"Don't be so harsh girlie", she says hitting me on my shoulder. I groan in pain and pass her a glare.

"I wasn't harsh", I defend myself. Nora just shakes her head disappointed.

"Stop being so oblivious---", I don't let her finish her sentence and just walk off. I know what I'm doing is wrong but I can't occupy my mind with these thoughts cause exams are not over yet and I need to focus on studies.

The exam just ended and here I am standing infront of the gate waiting for Huening to pick us up. Nora is standing with me but she is on her phone.

"Nora, I'm sorry", I say as I can't help but feel guilty.

"It's fine. I know why you did that", she says and I just happily side hug her. She puts her phone down and hugs me back.

Our Lil moment is intrupted by a car honk. We turn to see Huening kai and Soobin sitting in the car with glasses on. We control our laugh and enter the car and sit down at the back.

"What's with yall glasses?", I ask them while Nora just burst into laughter. They pass her a side eye but she just ignores it and continues laughing. I also laugh a bit but not much. I mean how pcan one stop laughing if they see them looking like this.

"We were filming a challenge", Huening Kai says when he sees that Soobin isn't going to respond. That boy was just staring at Nora with flame in his eyes.

"Sorry", Nora says as she finally stops laughing. Soobin's glare does not leave so she raises her eyebrows at him.

"Forgive me dimple guy", she says as she pokes his cheeks making my eyes widen.

"Oh my god", Huening kai says as he covers his eyes with one hand and my eyes with his other hand but keep enough space between fingers to still be able to watch them. Learnt from Beomgyu, didn't he!?

"Ahem ahem, anyway, let's grab some food first and then go back cause the others have already eaten so we are the only ones left", Soobin says as he clears the atmosphere. It wasn't awkward or anything but rather sus. When did Nora and Soobin get so close? As long as I remember, they hadn't even had a proper convo alone. Whatever.

"Sure. What do you want?", Nora asks making me frown cause why was that question directed towards Soobin.

"I Umm want---you guys choose first", he says stuttering and I just pass huening the known look. Something is going on and I will gte to the bottom of it.
