**Saiges pov**

"I still don't see why the original has to come check on you."I sighed ad Damen and I sat on the couch awaiting Eliajhs daily vist.I didn't see Damen's problem with Elijah but I've decided to let that drama stay between them.

"Deal with it Damen, Elijah gave me his "word" he'd keep me safe. So I have a feeling we'll be seeing him a lot more often"Damen rolled his eyes and placed an arm around me pulling me closer to him. A smirk grew on my face as I snuggled into him.

I didn't know what Damen and I were excatly...all I knew was I loved it.When I was with Damen I was so care free, every moment with him felt alive...Heavy footsteps came from up stairs and I sat up quickly. I hadn't seen Stephen in days...he's been locked up in his room, and Ive missed him.I mean Damen and Elijah have been great company. But I miss my best friend.

He passed the door way and I basically fell on my face, attempting to get his attention."Stephen!"Yep, I fell off the couch.Damen laughed as I patted my head softly,For an 'all powerful heritic' I needed to be way more graceful.

The youngest Salvatore brother stopped and smiled as I got off the ground slowly."Hey Steph. Um elijah said he had some news today. Would you wanna stay back for that?"Stephen looked at Damen and back at me with a sigh.

"I cant, sorry saige.."I grabbed his arm and jerked him back,He was hiding something and I dont like that..

"Well how about we hang out at the grill tonight at about 7? Just me and you like old times?"He smiled sweetly and nodded,"Sounds great"Damen huffed but I just grinned at Stephen, giving him a hug.

Stephen left the house and I turned slowly on my heel back onto the direction of Damen with a awkward smile."What was the huff for?"He sighed and pulled me back down on the couch with him."Nothing. Just for the fact that my brother got a date with you before I did."

I laughed and kissed his cheek but he just had this look on his face,He had to be joking. He knows how close Steph and I are...but were just friends."Youre over reacting Damen, yoy know your brothers my best friend."Damen sighed and hugged me closer to his chest and i grinned."And technically our first date was the sunset thing, if you count it anyway"

He laughed and played with my hair relaxing slowly,"If you count it I will sweetness"

"Ahem"I opened my sleepy eyes to see Elijah standing in the doorframe,A tired smile spread on my faces as I sat up from my position on Damen.

"Hey Elijah"Damen scoffed when he realized who was in the room and snuggled back into my shoulder trying to fall back asleep.

Elijah grinned and sat down on the couch beside us.He fixed his suit as he sat and looked back in our direction."So I have some good news and some bad news"

I rolled my eyes and leaned back into the couch.Why couldn't it be just good news?I mean seriously,Everyday is full of bad!1. I'm a freak of nature2. I have an over protective...whatever Damen is3. I have a super hard to control lust for my friends blood.And oh yeah I have a crazy hybrid who is looking for me.

So...yeah I need all the good news.

"Give me the good first."The original gave me a sweet smile and leaned back into the chair."I spoken to Rebecka. She has agreed to put down her issues with the Salvatores and help me keep you safe"I smiled and nodded,

From what I've heard about Rebecka Mikealson haven't been the best,She's sneaky,Manipulative,Evil,She sounds pretty fun to me.

"So when do I meet her?"He laughed at me softly and sat up alittle straighter.

"I have arranged for her to assist Damen with your training tomorrow"I nodded once again with a stupid smile on my face,Maybe things were going to get a little better.

"Okay...let's hear the bad already."Elijahs smile dropped and he fiddled with his cufflings.

"Its come to my attention that my brother now knows I am here. And knows that you are. He's made his home at lockwood mansion like I predicted though. But I fear he'll make his way around the town looking for you."

My head hurt,It felt like someone was hitting my head with a hammer.This was definitely not what I needed,I was already stressed...now I have to worry about leaving the boarding house?

"Just stay safe whenever you leave. If you notice anyone following you or looking interested in you in perticualr text me and both of the brothers. We'll be there in a matter of seconds and handle the....problem."I nodded and looked up at Elijah with my Bambi eyes. I knew now wasnt the best time to ask butttt,Its coming up soon,And I need to know.

"Elijah...do you think it'll be safe to..I don't know. Maybe, kinda, sorta, have my 17th birthday party..."Elijah raised an eyebrow and I let out a sigh. I know how childish it might sound but...After next week I'll only have 6 months left of you know. Not being a full on vampire thingy.

He looked like he was getting ready to speak when I interrupted him,"Never mind...it was stupid"

"Its not stupid Saige, I understand why you would want to have one. But I just dont know if it would be safe or not."Saddness filled my body which caused a shrug to go to my shoulders.

I felt Damen move from around me and he sat up carefully.He gave Elijah an angered look before turning to me."You're having a party."Elijah and I both opened our mouths to protest but he stopped us."Saige these next 6 months are going to be the hardest of them all. You need to have a night full of joy and fun before them. And I don't care what Mr. Original has to say. If he has  problem he can come too and keep you safe from there."

I smiled at Damen and my heart skipped a beat.Heat filled my body and I wrapped my arms around his neck pulling him closer.I heard Elijah sighed and rise to his feet with a small smile on his face.

"Very well then Mrs. Adrianna. You shall have your party. But keep the invitations to a minimum of people you know and trust. The last thing we need is Klaus finding out."

I nodded kindly with a wide smile covering my face,I silently thanked Damen for what he did.I checked the time on my phone and stood up slowly.It was almost seven, and I needed to put actual clothes on before going to the grill.

"Hey Elijah, I'm going to be heading out here soon. So you can stay and chat with Damen if you want"Both the boys looked at eachother and shook their heads.

I let out a small laugh and continued to go upstairs."Or not"

And then threw my hair up into a quick messy bun, and sent Stephen a quick text telling him that i'd be on my way.

I grabbed my wallet and ran down the stairs to say goodbye to the boys.Damen was still sitting in the couch,But Elijah was walking to the door.

I walked quickly over to Damen, giving him a quick peck on the lips and ran out the door with Elijah.I was attempting to regain my breath and the original laughed silently at me.

Elijah walked me over to Damens car with a slight look of dissapointment on his face."Elijah? What's wrong?"

He gave me a trying smile and opened the car door for me,"Its nothing Saige."My left eyebrow raised and I crossed my arms.Did he really think I was going to let that slide?

I held the car door open with my right hand and looked him straight in his eyes."Elijah. What's wrong."I made sure my voice was assertive and strong but he just sighed.

"I just. I don't think the oldest Salvatore is the best choice."

Was he serious?Anger filled my body and I threw my arms up in frustration.First he tells me that I can't be with Tyler, now he's trying to tell me he doesn't think I should be with Damen?

"What's your problem Elijah?"His eyes widened at my tone, Which I couldn't blame him. I have always spoken to Elijah with respect, he just ticked a nerve today.

"Saige i-"I put my hand up and sighed,"Look I lost Tyler for you Elijah. I'm not losing Damen too."
