Elena talk

**Saiges pov**

After spending a few weeks with Tyler we kinda got a schedule, which included me beating him at video games.

"I thought you said you were good at this?"

I laughed as Tyler struggled to beat me at Call Of Duty, he was good, ill give him that, but I'm better.

"Yeah well that's before I realized that you were this good at it"He laughed slightly then put the controller on the table.

"I give, you got me beat"

I leaned against the couch and put my feet on the table.

"Damn straight"

He laughed a little louder, then he checked his phone.He read something on there for a little while, then his smile grew.

"Well Mrs. Master of Call Of Duty how does going out tonight sound?"

I felt my eyebrow raise in response and a smirk grew on my face."Well what do you have in mind Mr. Lockwood?"

He got close to my face and grinned,"That part is a secret, all you're allowed to know is you gotta dress nice."

I stood up and walked over to Tyler,

"Well then its a good thing I got new clothes huh?"

I began to walk up stairs when Tyler spoke up,

"Um hey Saige? You got a second real quick?"

I turned around and smiled kindly at him,

"Sure"

He had a slight blush on his face and he ran his fingers through his hair.

"Well um....if you think its too soon that's fine and all...but um, I was wondering if you'd be my..my date tonight?"

I smiled widely at Tyler and nodded quickly.

"Why Tyler I would love to be your date."

He smiled back at me and our eyes met for a spilt second.

"Well then ill let you get ready, I have to run out for a mintue but ill be back around 7 to get you. Sound good?"

"Sounds great"

I watched Tylers back as he left with a smile on my face,

I quickly ran upstairs and dug through my bags, this was my technically my first date (if like me you chose not to count watching the sunset with Damen) so I wanted to look nice.

I had almost gave up and chose to wear the outfit I had wore yesterday when I remembered my special outfit I had picked out at the store.

I had planned on saving it for rainy day but, I guess it was now or never.

I curled my hair and let it hang freely before I started on my makeup.

I got done at about 6:25 when there was a knock on the front door,

I ran down the stairs, but when I reached the door I quickly straightened myself out and opened the door.

My smile dropped when it wasn't Tyler at the door, But Elena.

I quickly threw on a fake smile,"Um, hey"

She smiled warmly at me, and I had to admit she was beautiful, now I can see how Stephen's so infactuated with her.

"Hi, I'm Elena"

I grinned, she seemed so unnecessarily nice, this should be interesting.

"Yeah i know, we met before."

I opened the door a little bit more and smiled at her.

"Here come in"

She nodded and walked past the threshold smiling. We both sat down in the livingroom in silence.

"Well I came to see if you needed any help getting ready but it seems you managed that"She looked me up and down, but I just gave her a look.

How did she know about tonight? Was she coming too or something?I shook it off and smiled.

"Yeah I handled it, but thank you."

She watched me carefully then spoke up."Are you adjusting okay? Do you like it here?"

I raised an eyebrow at her,

"I mean its been a little rough, but I think I'm doing good for my situation.And Tyler and I get along good so that helps while I try to figure out where I want to go from here."

She listened intently, and nodded ever so slightly.

"You mean help figure out if you wanna go back to Damens and Stephens?" She had a little but if sass in her voice.

I looked at her in shock, I believe I'm gonna learn to like her.

"Yes, I guess that is what I meant."

She nodded and scooted closer to me,

"Well I don't blame you,"

I smirked at her,

"Really now? I thought you'd be all "you need to go back blah blah blah"

She laughed and looked at me softly.

"Well usually I would, cause Stephen misses you. But then again I know the brothers, and I know what it was like for me when all this got put on my shoulders. And I was older, you're just 16, I know this must be hard for you."

I laced my fingers, I thought I was dealing with the whole blood sucking thing pretty good, I mean I wasn't going off the deep end yet. But I have to admit it is all alittle tiring...

I didn't know what to say...I mean how do you admit weakness to someone you don't even know?

"I miss Steph too...I never meant to be gone this long."

She placed one hand over mine and smiled at me.

"Well why do you think it has been this long Saige?"

I sat and thought for a moment, I never really thought about why. I just never really felt ready..

"I think its because Tyler made me feel normal. He never talks about vampires, werewolves or anything unless I have to feed. We do normal teenager things, we drink, party, hell we even play video games..I guess I just missed the feeling."

She gave my hands alittle squeeze and looked at her watch.

"Tylers gonna be back anytime now, I don't wanna make things weird so I'll go ahead and leave."

She leaned down and gave me a slight hug before walking to the door.

"Ill see you tonight Saige."

I gave her a smile then watched her leave, yep, I guess I kinda like Elena.
