Ch.16: Our first 'first date'

The next day arrived and Sisipho will be allowed to go watch her classes after that Mr. Aizawa came to check on the girl and saw that she was using her special protection for the ears. This time a headphone instead the usual small ones from her costume, that's way more efficient.

Also, the man scolded Class for two things.

One, for being too loud in the morning, asking them to keep their voices low even though Sisi is using sound canceling protection. And two...

"I can't believe you all stayed up outside until 3 AM!" he said seriously, narrowing his now red eyes to the sleepy students. "If I didn't come back from work that time y'all would probably be there until now!"

"I ask for forgiveness, Mr. Aizawa. As the class president, it was my responsibility to stop them from this behavior." Tenya said, bowing to him ashamed.

"I'm taking responsibility too, as the class vice president, Mr. Aizawa. We just wanted to celebrate our licenses and Sisi's recovery. Sorry, Mr. Aizawa." Momo did the same since she's also a representative.

"I'll let this one pass, only this time because both reasons are good AND because it was silent and organized, the garden is untouched. So now go to your class."

Bowing at their mentor gratefully, everyone did as he said. Holding hands, the young couple in the class was chatting and smiling around, following the same mood from the day prior.

The class waited for the first teacher to come, but strangely the director Nezu was the one to appear, standing up on a stool to catch everyone's attention.

"Good morning Class 1-A! I came here on the first period to talk a bit with you!" he said with his always happy tone, pointing to the door. "However I'll need a little help with this. Please, come in!"

As the door opened the students gasped in confusion at seeing Yokumiru Mera, from the Hero Public Safety Commission, the one who explained the whole Provisional Hero License Exam to them the other day.

"Good morning, Yuei students." he said bowing, with his low and tired voice, as always. "As Nezu said, we're here to talk, but I won't take a lot of your time, since I still need to go personally to all others schools to do the same."

'Wanna bet Mrs. Mandla is behind this?' Sisipho wrote it down on a piece of paper and gave it to Katsuki, who tried not to laugh and just nodded to her.

"I came here representing the Commission to ask for forgiveness publicly for the accident that happened yesterday to Ms. Sisipho Mbeki Ashido." he made a full bow in her direction, which left the girl embarrassed.

"I'm also asking forgiveness from all others students. It was our mistake not to pay due attention to our examinees' situations and individualities. It could've happened to any other student or even to a large number and we don't have excuses to do about it.

We'll use this exceptional case as an example to never commit the same error again. Before seeing if the young ones have what is necessary to be a hero, we need to put the safety of you all in the first place. So again, I beg your forgiveness."

Yokumiru did another full bow to the class.

"We, from Yuei High, will take notes about this event too. Our duty, as well as the Commission's, is to help you to know how to recognize your weakest points and teach about how to deal with them. But we can't do it ourselves efficiently if we don't know about it beforehand to show you. If we do this job right from now on, accidents like that won't be happening ever again. So, on behalf of Yuei, I also ask for your forgiveness, Ms. Ashido."

"I hope everyone understands the meaning of this 'out of time' visit. We just want to keep your trust in the Hero Safety Public Commission intact, because, since you all are on this path, we'll be working together for a lifetime. So please, keep your trust in us so that we can take care of your necessities."

After exchanging a few more words, Yokumiru Mera left to comply with his schedule of going to all schools that were at the exam. Nezu also talked for a bit more and left the class to have the rest of the first period as free time.

"These fuckers are only worried if this shit will blow out on the media." Katsuki turned to the squad, all nodding.

"Tell me, you told to auntie Mandla what happened, didn't you?" Mina asked Sisipho.

"Actually it was Kat. Can you imagine the drama he put on her, right?!" she joked.

"Shut up, I was the calmest possible." he rolled his eyes, pulling her chair closer to him.

"So you weren't calm at all." Sero laughed, provoking the ash-blonde one, who only showed his middle finger as an answer.

"Ugh, can you two stay away from each other for like one damn second?" Mina sighs in fake annoyance.

"C'mon guys, there are single people in the room." Denki said gaging.

"Y'all are single because you fucking want! And I don't even need to tell nothing more, your damn blush says all! You got what I meant!" Katsuki tells them, hugging the sitting Sisi from behind, hiding his nose in her fragrant hair.

"Who wanna bet the next couple from our class?!" Kirishima hyped them.

"I call dibs on TodoDeku!" Sisi was the first to say, quietly and only for the squad. Now they all moved closer, interested in the gossip.

"What the fuck is this name? Ew!" Katsuki cringed. "If that's how this game is going, I'm betting on... KiriMinaaa~!"

"Fuck you, Bakugou!!" the pinky said blushing.

"I trust you, shithead!" he whispered to the other boy, who only looked at him flustered.

"Okay, okay. All guesses are very cool, but~" Denki made some suspense. "Y'all are blind! Deku will totally go for Ochaco."

"Fuck you! Deku is gay as fuck for the half-half bastard!" Katsuki whispers scream to him, trying not to get the other's attention.

"Nope, I see the way he got all clumsy with her, I'm betting on them, on IzuOcha!"

"Hey!! You're calling dibs against my ship, so whoever loses this one will have to pay a lot!" Sisipho challenged Denki.

"Bet! The loser will need to do anything the other wants, only one wish!"

"Bet!" Sisi holds his hand, sealing the deal. "What about you, Sero?"

"I'm betting on KamiJirou, hehehe~!" his silly and provocative giggle made them all snort.

"Shut up, Hanta! You're exposing me, man!" the blonde complained all flushed.

"Kiri?" Sisi noticed the oddly quiet boy, that still a blushing mess.

"Ahmn... I'll bet on..." he briefly looked at Katsuki and Sisi, admiring the couple and wanting to risk it all to have the same. "I-I'm betting on KiriMina!"

"OHHHHHHHH~!" the squad just couldn't hold themselves with this confession, the two of this ship looking to any corner but to one another.

"Okay, okay! Calm down. The bets are made, so let's wait and see. Basically, we all have some type of influence to make these couples happen, sooo..."

"I'll be fighting for mine!" Sero teased his friend again and got shocked by it. "OUCH!"

"I-I'll be right back." Mina managed to say after running out of the class.

"Wow, now I saw something, shithead!" Katsuki said to his friend all proud.

"Oh gosh, it was totally out of nowhere. What do I do now? What if I just threw years of friendship in the trash? Maybe she'll never look at my face again? I'll lose my best friend! And-"

"Kiri!" Sisi stood to hold his shoulders in place, looking at his eyes. "You'll never know if you don't try! It was the same with Kat and me and we're not even closer to the number of years you two know each other!"

"Didn't you fear the possibility of her rejecting you, bro?" he eyed the blonde.

"No, because if she didn't want me now, I would just win her heart over in another way, no matter what."

"But what if even then-"

"Then I would find another person who wanted me. Fucking simple! If she accepts you, perfect. If she doesn't, she isn't the right one. Now grow some balls and ask her on a date or something."

"Oh~ I get it... It was like that for you guys?"

"No, Kiri, it was different but also very special. Every couple has a different and unique history."

"And we have our first date only when she gets better. Also before the accident, we were too focused on that damn exam to go out."

Kirishima took all of their advice to his heart and decided to not let this fear stop him again, like in middle school.

Later on that day, Sisipho got to Mina's room to talk with her too about her feelings, fears, and thoughts on the matter. The black girl also gave a lot of advice to her lovely cousin.

If something will blossom between the two childhood friends, only time will tell.

A week passed since the exam and Sisipho is way better now, to Katsuki's relief. She still needs to take her medications and use some protection on her ears, but now only her earphones are enough. However, the better part is that the lame symptoms are all gone.

So the young couple is finally about to have their first date.

Katsuki had no idea of what to do in the beginning, fearing that his choice would be to cringe or cliché. So he tried to think of her friend instead of her date.

Where both would have a lot of fun and enjoy their time together?

"AAAAAAAAA AMUSEMENT PARK!" the jumpy girl is all excited seeing the place he chooses, a big surprise to her.

Katsuki has a whole plan on his mind for today, wanting to make the first 'first date' of their lives markable, but nothing too much, since he knows his girl isn't into that type of thing.

Also, Katsuki has a trick in his sleeve.

"Fucking loud~! Let's go already, I want to eat a lot of junky food today!" he beamed to her, and she immediately nodded excitedly.

"UHUUL~! I want some hotcakes/churros! Let's go!!" holding his hand, Sisipho dragged him to a food stall.

Katsuki is having the time of his life watching how happy Sisi is with the place he took her. The black girl is eyeing everything in awe, pointing to places and pulling him by the hand to all toys and rides she wants to go.

"Nope, not this one!" he looked at her seriously, trying hard not to fall for her puppy eyes. "STOP WITH THIS FACE! We're not going in this huge pendulum, Sisipho!"

"But this one is the coolest..." she whined, being pulled away from it by him, her pout serving to nothing.

"Do you want to get your eardrums fucked again? This shit will spin your brain out! So shut up, let's take a break, I'm tired."

"But we just arrived~" he faced her disbelieving.

"Three hours is 'just arrived' now?!" Katsuki snorted at her silly expression. "So damn cute... Come here, doll!"

Hugging his girlfriend by her shoulder, they both walked to a green area next to the park, distant from the noise but with a great view of everything, especially because they'll be staying over a small hill. There's a beautiful tree on top of it and the young couple sat under it, to have some time alone.

Katsuki sat under the tree and pulled Sisi to sit down between his legs, so he can hug her entirely, as always. He just loves to stay like this. The boy took his time to silently admire Sisi, adoring how her black skin glows under the sun.

"You're even more gorgeous with these braids..." he whispered in her left ear, kissing behind it, and touching her hair.

"Mina did it. She always loved to put extensions on my hair, mainly braided ones. It's a lot of work, but I also like the results."

"It's a nice way to see how you do with long hair. It's fucking gorgeous, obviously." she is giggling at his compliments, enjoying his strong and warm embrace surrounding her.

"I loved our first date so much. It has been ages since I came to a park. This one was the best time, absolutely! I had a lot of fun with my cute boy/best friend!"

"Nice title, dumbass. Gosh, I live for your silliness..." he shook his head chuckling. "I wanted to take you out before but, y'know, a damn shameless lady just teased the shit out of me and I was obligated to ask her to be my girlfriend in the wrong way..."

"What do you mean by the wrong way?" she turned her head to look at him. "I loved the way you asked me, so you did nothing wrong, Kat..."

"Yes, I did. I should've asked you out first, talked a bit, did some cliché bullshit girls like..." now she's laughing at his words. "And I should've given you this when asking you..."

Raising his left hand to her eyesight, Katsuki showed, to the now emotional Sisipho, the special promise ring he choose for his special girl, around his pinky finger.

"By the gods..." she said holding his hand to remove delicately the object from it, totally flabbergasted.

"I know you like red a lot and... My eyes are also red so... I bought you a red promise ring." red is also on his face now saying this.

"This is so pretty, Katsuki! I never saw a ring with such a powerful, bright and strong tone. It's like... By the gods, it's just like you! Now I'll have you with me always!"

Chuckling loudly in euphoria, Sisipho hugged her boyfriend fiercely, filling his face with kisses and more kisses. Katsuki only embraced it, enjoying every second of her caresses.

"Now I need to buy one for you too, right?!" she asked trying to guess how this works.

"No need." pulling a long and thin chain from under his shirt, Katsuki showed to her his promise ring. "When I saw it I only could think of you, so I needed to buy it. I can't use it in my hand, obviously, but I'll always carry it with me. Like I always carry you in my mind and heart, Choco."

"Dark brown and gold...?!" just like her skin and eyes and for the first time Katsuki let Sisipho be so touched that she started to cry copiously. "Kat, this is so beautiful..."

"Oi, oi, oi! Don't cry! Stop, Sisi..." now he doesn't know what to do, his confused heart is torn between being happy with her smile or worried with the tears. "My Choco, don't cry..."

"My boo~ I never expected a gift like this, ever! Never I could've imagined that I can get this much emotional. What you just did is meaningful... This is our promise to be always together?"

"Yes, our promise to... Sisi actually I..." he trained so much for this, going back isn't an option now. After denying so much, Sisi needs to know what's in his heart, but he's so flustered that it's frustrating. "Fuck!"

Trying to understand why he was so nervous, Sisi turned a bit more to face him better, putting her legs over his right thigh. Her touch over his cheek calmed him a bit.

"Are you okay, Kat?" she sounds concerned because of his frown expression.

"I want to tell you something..." his red eyes are piercing through hers.

"I'm all ears, my boo. Tell me." her smile melted his heart. He needs to say it now.

"Ugh, fuck that! Sisipho, I admire you so fucking much that I... I think I'm falling in love with you! That's it, damn it! The truth is that you make my heart go crazy every day and I'm falling for your personality, character, good heart, positivity, vibe, mood, and nature... Fuck, I can go for ages with this because... Choco, I'm madly in love with you!"

The blonde boy voiced this out loud, quickly and desperately, but he finally did. That's it, Katsuki Bakugou gave up the fight and choose to jump into his feelings for Sisi. He doesn't care anymore about logic, Katsuki just wants to be with her, always.

Yet Sisipho wasn't expecting to hear this today at all, or even on any other day. She's so chill about it and has no experience in relationships, so she didn't create any expectations over Katsuki, just living one day at a time.

But hearing these words from the so famous explosive and rude boy, she can't help and is flabbergasted. Katsuki always finds a way to amaze her even more, surprising Sisi with his brave and bold personality that doesn't hold back anything.

Not even his sweetest feelings toward his girlfriend.

Sisi hugged him tightly by the neck, hiding her face in it, giving herself a minute to process everything and take a breath.

"Your words mean so much to me, Katsuki... You have no idea how much I'm happy now. I feel so honored for being with you, living new experiences, and discovering the world together, meanwhile, we both are on the path to reaching our dream..."

Moving away to see the red orbs she adores, Sisipho hold his face in her hands, giving him a lovely gaze that made the boy smile widely.

"I'm in love with you too, Katsuki Bakugou." ending the distance between them, Sisi kissed her boyfriend finally.

The hearts full of love are now beating in sync, as one. Sharing through the kiss all the want, happiness, and love they feel for each other.  The same love they share since day one and didn't change at all.

No, Katsuki and Sisipho's love is only growing stronger over time.
