Ch.03: BakuSquad!

Days after the attack at U.S.J the classes at Yuei High returned and the hot topic of the moment is the Sports Festival that will start in two weeks. Amazon didn't like at all that Yuei will just ignore the attack and do it anyways.

Sisipho understands her worries but agrees with the idea of showing off that the attack will change nothing, not even their spirits. The Festival is a good opportunity to show the pro heroes that the students are promissory.

The black girl only wants to catch the attention of one: Amazon. Since her quirk manifested, the hero helped her daughter in everything. They don't share the same quirk but have a lot of similarities.

Amazon has a good perception of everything, but it works better when she's in contact with the ground or nature. The manipulation she can do with natural elements, such as earth, wind, fire... Also, her own body can increase her resistance and strength, which makes her powerful in close combat.

"With her spear made from a rare type of metal from her home country, Amazon also manipulates it to cause more damage to her target. Her quirk is mostly known as Force-A-Nature."

Katsuki is reading on his phone an article about Sisipho's mother on the school's roof. It was hard to find something more detailed about the woman, since she works more as an underground hero, doing stealthy and secret missions for the government.

That's understandable, she basically can be imperceptible and must be capable of going in and out whenever she wants without a single soul noticing.

"My Goddess, you're really in love with my mom!" and so can her daughter, who almost gave a heart attack to Katsuki, sneaking from behind him, who's sitting on the roof area during the lunch break.

"You fucking sneak bitch! DON'T DO THAT!" he yelled, moving away and hiding his phone in his pocket.

"Good morning to you too. Geez, no need to yell, I can hear you even without my eardrums. Fucking rude..." she rolls her eyes, crossing her arms.

"I see you're already good. Or your noise ass got kicked out of the hospital?"

"Nah, I just came sooner so you don't miss me too much." her silly wink made him blush, he hates that.

Eyeing the girl sideways, he saw her enjoying the gentle wind caressing her hair, the sun kissing her skin making the natural glow coming from her intensify. Katsuki's heart skipped a beat admiring her features.

"Are you excited about the Festival too?" she interrupted the silence.

"Of course I am. I'll win and let all these damn shits down on my feet."

"You sure are confident. I like this on you." he got more flushed, tsking at her. "I'm being serious, this is an important thing to have in the hero area. We need to be confident and proud to not let anyone put us down."

"Finally someone that understands that! Everyone thinks I'm only being fucking rude."

"But you're fucking rude, Katsuki."

"SHUT UP! And it's Bakugou to you."

"You call me what you want so I'll do the same. If I want I'll only call you Kat." teasing him, Sisipho showed her tongue to him.

"You annoying bitch..." he groaned.

"You fucking brat!" mocking his tone made him even more annoyed.

"WHY ARE YOU HERE ANYWAYS?! LEAVE ALONE!"

"Nah, I'm good." Sisipho lay down on the floor, beside where he was sitting.

Katsuki is so angry, always is, when she's close to him. Beyond noise, she just keep stealing his attention all to her. She's all cute today with her locks braided, giving her a more delicate look. The peace coming from her just by laying in there is comforting and makes him feel calm, a thing that's very rare for the boy. This is a thing he likes to feel when they're together, the way Sisipho just cools down his heart.

'Damnit, I'm starting to get too comfortable with her. Fuck!' rolling his eyes he just lay beside her on the floor, enjoying the serenity until the time to go back to class comes.

As the days before the Festival got by, a new group of friends started to gain form. Mina, Sisipho, and Kirishima already are inseparable since kids, but the last two end up dragging closer to their group Katsuki.

Soon Hanta and Denki also enjoyed them. As Mina says, the BakuSquad now is definitely formed. They spent all lunch breaks together, doing a lot of noise and joking around.

Their favorite activity without a doubt is to irritate Katsuki.

They got to do homework together, send funny texts and memes on their group chat and also train for the Festival. Amazon helped the group a bit with their physical preparation and to build up more stamina.

Only on that day, at Sisipho's home in the forest, that Katsuki noticed how strong the girl is, doing a lot of push up and beating the shit out of Kirishima. It was remarkable training for all of them and only served to let the group even more hyped for the Festival.

With so many activities, soon the big day arrived. Katsuki smirked seeing the chocolate girl approaching him with her hair all voluminous, adorning her face perfectly.

"Nice look." she notices his smirk, and also the honesty in his voice. Katsuki truly admires her.

"Why thank you. I want to show a strong performance today, so why not use a black power to match the vibe?" she winked at him, standing by his side, leaning on the wall. "Ready to destroy these extras?"

"Damn sure I am, Chocogirl!!" he said intensely, flexing his arm up.

Sisipho loves his conviction and feels the same. It's time to put everyone down, just like her classmate Shouto Todoroki declared now. No time to care about friendship and all squad agreed with this, wishing the best for them all, but assuring that there was no holding back from now on.

Soon the ceremony announced the official beginning of the Yuei Sports Festival. The stadium is immense and full of energetic people. Present Mic and EraserHead are talking on the speakers, while Midnight is in the middle of the arena, on a stage in front of the students. All classes are there, everyone craving to defeat the class 1-A and steal the attention that's over them.

All wanting to show off to the pro heroes watching.

After a markable speech given by Katsuki Bakugou, that made his squad almost die from laughter, the first event started: The Perilous Obstacle Race Around The Stadium. Already in her place to run, Sisipho got the attention of the students around her when a dark blue blindfold was placed over her golden eyes. The squad is annoyed with the silly smirk on her face, knowing too well that she's up to something.

And just like they expected, the minute the race began, Sisipho forced everyone to stay still.

"Excuse me~!" singing mischievously, the black girl passed between the students ahead of her, making her way to the front. "You guys are so cute for letting me go first. Byeee~!"

"YOU FUCKING WITCH!" Katsuki's scream mixed with the others only made the girl laugh harder, and she started to run fast to the next phase.

"UNBELIEVABLE! SISIPHO ASHIDO FROM CLASS 1-A IS DOMINATING THE RACE, STOPPING THE CROWD BEHIND HER!" Present Mic yelled at the speakers, making the audience hype it too. "SHE'S ON THE FIRST OBSTACLE, DESTROYING THE ROBOTS ONLY WITH HER MIND, ALL OF THIS WHILE BLINDFOLDED! THIS IS AMAZING!"

Optioning not to destroy all of the robots and let some to do delay the others, Sisipho made it to the next obstacle: The fall. At this point she just released her control over the other's body, knowing that no one will reach her at time.

Equilibrium is something she always trained with her mother, specifically when Mandla takes her to the forest. Walking in thin ropes is nothing compared to the battles she had against Amazon while balancing in branches and vines. Easily Sisipho ran over all the ropes and made her way to the next obstacle.

Stopping at the field before her, the black girl can already sense some students getting closer, but also the mines under the ground. Deactivating the ones on her path, she resumed her run and quickly reached the finish line, crossing it in the first place.

A few minutes later and the others crossed the line too, Katsuki going straight to her, furious.

"Do that again and I'll fucking kill you!" he pointed a finger at her, growling.

"What? This?" she laughed hard, wheezing at how red he is while cursing her nonstop.

"No cool, Bonbon! You could at least let us free!" Kirishima pouted, hugging her neck and smacking her on the head, making the girl release the pissed blonde.

"I'm not even surprised, Bonbon is a bitch!" Mina hugged them two, pinching her.

The playing got cut short by Midnight getting their attention with the announcement of the next event of the Festival, where only the first 42 students that crossed the finish line will participate.

Also that Sisipho Ashido will have a huge drawback in the next event because she made it in first place at the race. So the black girl will be carrying a headband that cost 10 Million points in The Cavalry Battle.

"Haha! You're so fucked! You and that damn nerd who got in second, both will be the target of everyone!" Katsuki scoffed, pushing her shoulder.

"Who? Me? Are you serious? This isn't a drawback to me, but a damn bonus! I need to do nothing besides wait until the end. I don't even have to worry about stealing from others."

"What the fuck are you saying?"

"Katsuki, I already have 10 Million points. Even if someone catches all the other 41 headbands, I still being the first one." she said simplistically, shaking her shoulders.

"Bonbon is right! She just needs to wait until the end!" Mina understood what she was saying.

"How though?! Everyone will attack her as soon as the event starts!" Denki voiced his worry.

"Will they be able to?" giggling at her plan, she moved back a bit, to face the whole group. "I need one more, or three, members on my team. Are any of you coming with me?"

The squad eyed her confident self thoughtfully, some considering and others ready to chicken out. The latter were Sero and Kiminari, who opted to fight for their headbands, not wanting the stress of the first place.

"How the fuck will you keep everyone away without dying like back at the U.S.J?!" Katsuki asked seriously.

"I got so worn out that time because I had to use everything to keep the Nomu down. That thing is an abomination that changes its DNA and cells all the time. But here? I can easily manipulate all bodies inside this arena, even more now that the number of opponents dropped."

"So you'll just sit down and wait like a damn princess?"

"Of course, just like the damn princess I am, just relaxing and chilling. Are you three with me?"

"Forever, Bonbon!" Kirishima assured her with Mina. Sisipho faces Katsuki hopefully.

"Ugh! What choice do I fucking have? You just took the best ones for my team! Damn annoying."

"Aww~ Just confess that you can be away from us, Katsuki!

"SHUT UP!"

Joking around about their plan, it was decided that Bakugou will be the rider, sitting on Kirishima's shoulders. Mina and Sisipho will be on each side of them. The plan is simple: Katsuki will keep an eye around to prevent anyone who, for any reason, gets out of Sisipho's quirk by exploding anyone away.

Meanwhile, the black girl will focus her perception on a controlled area around them, whoever tries to enter will be stopped, and their bodies will not allow them to get closer, just like a person is consumed by fear and frozen in place. As Sisipho doesn't want to mess up their chance at the Festival, she'll allow them to step away from her area, so they can continue trying their chances against other teams.

As expected, the minute the event started, all teams ran for the 10 Million headband. And as they planned, no one was able to enter their space.

"Why we stopped?!" Todoroki asked Tenya, who was under him.

"I-I don't know. I want to move forward, but my legs don't. My legs are not obeying me!"

"It must be Sisipho doing, Todoroki! When we fought together that time she did the same with Denki and Jirou. I just didn't expect to be so powerful to the point where she can control all of us at once." Momo said, tired of trying to force herself to move.

"We don't have a choice other than walk back, she'll not let anyone pass." Todoroki groaned saying, annoyed not only with the black girl but also with the smirking boy over her, acting all smug because of the 10 Million headband on his head. "Let's go for the other ones, we don't have time to waste."

Soon the other teams made the same decision, leaving the BakuSquad alone.

"Holy! You were right, Bonbon! They gave up!" Mina is stunned by this.

"Haha! Fucking losers!" they all laughed.

"Doing good there, Bonbon?!" Eijirou turned a bit to face the girl.

"Yep, easy peasy. However don't let your guard down guys, someone may want to play smart."

Agreeing with her, they keep their eyes sharp toward their opponents. Some really tried, the ones that are in last, desperate for the win. But nothing worked. Flying, digging, attacking... Any movement got stopped right away.

"Holy fuck, the guy just stop mid-air." Katsuki snorted seeing a kid freeze in place as soon as he approach them. "Let him fall, Choco!"

"NO!" Mina and Eijirou screamed, making Sisipho grin deviously. "SISIPHO!!!"

The boy started to fall, yelling for his team, but in vain, he reached the floor with a loud thud, right on his face. Bakugou chuckled at the scene.

"Good one, Chocogirl!" he high-fived her, both laughing their ass out, soon being followed by their other friends.

Soon the event ended and the best four teams advanced to the next one: Sisipho, Todoroki, Midoriya, and Shinso. But before it starts, a break was announced by Midnight.

Sisipho immediately jumped on Kirishima's back, piggybacking him. She's thankful for the break, the black girl is tired of all concentration.

"You did great, Bonbon! We made it thanks to you!" the redhead boy smiled, holding her legs and taking both to the waiting room.

"Thanks, always great to carry some losers on my back." her silly comment made the group groan in annoyance.

Shaking his head, Katsuki and his friends sat on a couch inside the room, also with Denki and Hanta, who are complaining about a certain purple-haired guy that brainwashed them.

However, Katsuki's attention was all on the black girl beside him, who moved the blindfold up to her head, making her voluminous hair go back, giving a perfect view of her face.

Stretching her arms, Sisipho yawned. Getting comfortable on the couch, she hug Mina's arm and laid on her shoulder, ready to take a nap.

"Just sleep this fucking witch." Katsuki says teasing her, that only opened one eye to stare at him.

"If you're this jealous, I can hug you too."

"Tsk, whatever." crossing his arms he faced away to hide the stubborn blush that insist on appearing with her.

Since the blonde didn't deny it, Sisipho changed her position and hug him, resting her cheek on his strong biceps. Obviously, Bakugou complained about it, but the protests soon died down when he noticed her sleeping form. Sighing in defeat, Bakugou decided to just let her be.

'Just this goddamn time.' he thought frowning, with a pounding heart and red cheeks.
