Jeongyeon: Coincidence pt.2

Jeongyeon x Reader

"Should I buy the blue or the black one?" Seungyeon asked you and jeongyeon while showing you a swim wear she's been wanting to buy.

"Blue one" You and Jeongyeon said at the same time and high fived for the perfect timing.

"You guys are unbelievable " Seungyeon blinked at you while putting away the black swim wear.

You've been out shopping the whole day and even though it was incredibly hot, it was fun. You could tell it was fun because Jeongyeon was there, she has the same humor as you, silly but still funny.

"Where else should we go?" Seungyeon asked as the three of you got out of the shop with the swim wears. You exchanged a look with Jeongyeon, feeling completely sure that she's thinking the same thing.

"The super market" You said and Jeongyeon laughed because she could already predict your 'joke'.

"What the hell are we supposed to do in the super market we came here to buy clothes." Seungyeon growned.

"To take a shopping cart because we literally can't carry anything else with our own hands." Jeongyeon completed your joke and you both laughed and tried to high five again but you failed since your hands were filled with bags.

"Plus you already bought two pairs of shoes so we didn't come here to just 'buy clothes' " You added and Seungyeon rolled her eyes.

"Wow no-jam team got active a lot earlier than I thought." Seungyeon calls you and Jeongyeon no-jam (meaning no-fun) because of your humor.

"We'll debut soon" You teased and Jeongyeon nodded.

"Lol who would stan you?" Seungyeon laughed at you and Jeongyeon but you completely ignored her.

"I'd stan us tbh" Jeong was still taking your side and you felt weirdly good about it.

"Yeah you'd be Y/N biased for sure" Seungyeon said with a smirk on her face and you secretly slapped her arm for what she said.

Jeongyeon's cheeks were so red by now and you tried to change the subject to make her more comfortable.

"Shall we go to eat something? I'm hungry" You announced and the girls agreed. Your friend still had an annoying smirk on her face and you tried to give her a warning sign with your eyebrows to stop being like that.

She claims that Jeongyeon has a tiny crush on you but she hasn't admitted it to her yet. She also claims that you have a tiny crush on Jeong too but you can't confirm that either, although you deny it to her.

Truth is that Seungyeon plays the part of your best friend really well and can predict your crushes even before you can. You wished to prove her wrong for once and told her that you're intrested into some other girl from your job, which is not really true. You just said it because there is a girl who is incredibly shy all over you at work so you guess that she maybe likes you.

Her name is Jennie, she's cute but a little bit too cheesy for your liking and most importantly, she doesn't get most of your jokes. Under any other circumstances you'll go out with her and see how it'll go but Seungyeon is forcing you to go out with her and Jeongyeon lately and you don't really have the time for a date.

When the three of you finally arrived to a restaurant you told Seungyeon to follow you in the bathroom. You were going to lecture her and you were pretty sure she could already guess that.

"Are you mad?" Seungyeon asked when you closed the restroom's door a bit harshly.

"I'm not but if I was your sister I'd be" You said and crossed your arms on your chest. Seungyeon raised her eyebrows, oh no.

"So you finally realized that she likes you." Now a smirk started to form on her lips again and you weren't really sure if this was more annoying than the blush on your cheeks. Why are you even blushing? You sighed.

"Just..stop doing that" You said.

"Then do something yourself, what are you even waiting for?" That was a good question, you thought.

Maybe all you trying to do lately is to just prove your friend wrong but she's never wrong when it comes to your relationships with girls. That Jennie girl? Huh, you know really well that if it wasn't for Jeongyeon you would be dating with her by now. You sighed again and your friend rolled her eyes.

"Seriously, you suck at this. But Jeongyeon sucks too so how about you suck at this together?" Yep, she just said that.

"And you suck at giving advices without any dirty comments." You said and she laughed.

When you returned to the table it took you a minute to admire how pretty Jeongyeon looks when she's scrolling on her phone under the table. Whenever you layed your eyes on her she seemed even prettier than the last time you did and you couldn't understand how is this possible for a human.

"Oh, I think I forgot my bag at the restroom, I'll be back in a sec" Seung said and left the table in a rush.

Her bag was there. Jeongyeon noticed too. But you both knew why she went away and you were just too shy to say it to each other. Seungyeon wanted to leave you two alone, you weren't suprised at all.

"So.." You cleared your throat and Jeongyeon looked at you. You tried to act normal when you noticed how chic she looks with her short hair and her leather jacket. You tried to quit staring but you could tell your cheeks were already pink by now.

"What should our group name be?" You said and she laughed.

"No-jam bros? Maybe?" She said with a smile.

"Maybe we should ask Seungyeon for help" You said, kidding.

"I don't think that's a good idea.." Jeong said and you both laughed.

"Hey, remember that time you spilled a drink on me?" You said after a moment of silence.

"Wow yeah, I did that." She said embarrassed and you smiled to make her more comfortable.

"I think I own you a drink since then" You were suprised by the fact that you said it so easily. Jeongyeon's blush was so cute that you found yourself blushing too.

"And I own you some clothes." She flashed a smile back at you and you grinned.

"Don't worry about it, your sister can help me with that" She laughed and looked down at her feet.

"So what do you say?" You didn't want to pressure her but Seungyeon can't be lying about her having a crush on you, right? You made a mental note to kill her if she's wrong.

"Sounds fun" Your chest got filled with happiness and relief at her words.

"But.." She said while pointing a finger at you. You froze for a second.

"We should keep it a secret from Seungyeon." She smirked and you got it. She wanted to tease her and you agreed. That was the perfect tease for her since she has been looking forward for you two to finally arrange a date.

"Absolutely." You agreed.

Date? It is a date right? You were getting ready and as if you were about to go in your car and pick Jeongyeon up, Jennie texted you. Great.

"I'll be outside your house in a minute." You blinked several times to believe that she actually sent that. She is the shy type that doesn't ever make a move so what was this about? You were suprised that Jennie sent that. You sighed. Why did it have to be now? You were leaning in your car and it wasn't even a minute later when you recognized her walking towards your house.

"Hey! I'm here" You said and waved your hand so that she could spot you across the street. She scanned you from head to toe and noticed something different.

"Going somewhere?" She asked as she was passing you some papers. You had to grab them carefully because she literally tossed them to you with some sort of angry action and you frowned your eyebrows. What the hell?

"Yes." You answered coldly and ignored her weird action. You looked down at the papers in your hands and realised that you forgot them at your office so she probably came here to give them to you.

"Why are you ignoring me? We are coworkers you know, if we want to do well and work hard we have to at least communicate." Jennie burst into her angry mood and you started to get annoyed.

"That's exactly why, because we are just coworkers." You said, imitating her angry tone.

To your suprise she started laughing. A lot. For a second you thought she might tear up from her laughter. Isn't this too much? What is wrong with her?

"Did you think that I want us to be something more than that?" You blinked. Truth is yes you did. You were dumbfounded and that made her laugh even harder.

"First of all I have a boyfriend, second of all I don't want to get fired. So no I don't want us to be anything more than just coworkers or maybe friends, if you want. Sorry if that hurts you but, thats the truth." You felt like laughing too. Hurts you? So it's been a misunderstanding this whole time and you thought that you indeed suck at predicting your crushes.

"No it doesn't hurt me I'm actually seeing someone too that's why I've been avoiding you. Anyways thank you for the papers I'm sure we'll communicate well from now on." You said and looked at her. You both started laughing.

"I should go, don't make that someone wait any longer" She said and waved at you as she was leaving.

When you turned around your heart almost stopped. Jeongyeon was there. Behind the other side of your car. Probably heard everything you and Jennie said. You tried to recall if you said something she shouldn't have heard.

"Jeongyeon.." You said blinking, she was there.

"Hey uhm.. I was just..uhm.. I texted you and I said that you don't have to come and pick me up since I was near your house but you were busy..I guess.." She said scratching the back of her neck and you gulped.

You walked around your car to get closer to her with the papers still on your hands. You left the papers in your car and tried to explain why you had them in your hands.

"So are you really seeing someone?" She asked and you got confused for a second. Did she not understand that you were referring to her? You tried to stop your smirk from forming in your lips, is she being jealous right now?

"I think you already know that, you don't have to ask." You said. For some reason you liked the fact that she looked so jealous. Her mouth was forming an 'o' and you couldn't hide your smirk from now on.

"I was talking about you, silly." You said and now Jeongyeon was the one who looked dumbfounded.

She was already red when you started walking closer to her. You wished that she wasn't taller at the moment but you were still going for it. You tipped your toes and kissed her slowly. Her breath hitched and it took her a few seconds to realize what was happening until she started kissing you back. You pulled away making the kiss last less than Jeongyeon wished it would last.

"Will you be my no-jam girlfriend?" You felt like your life was depending from her answer to this question. Your mind was blank, heart thumbing, your legs felt so weak that you had to stop being on the tips of your toes. Your mind and body felt like they were hanging from her lips and that answer they will give. You were staring at them, her eyes were still closed and yours' were half open, just enough to stare at her lips.

"I'd love to" She said and you bumped your lips into hers' again, almost crying out of relief and happiness. You were so ready to spend the rest of this night, week, month, season, life with her.
