2. The Worst Yet Best Day Of My Life😭

Maddie's POVOur song reminds me of my mum. My dad used to abuse us two. And yes, we do have scars but them scars make us unique.

"We do have scars, but them scar make us beautiful!" My mum used to say to me. She built up my confidence even though every night my dad would come home drunk and hit us, punch us, kick us and more. He once raped my mum. I tried to stop him but he stabbed me. That's why I have a scar going across my stomach just underneath my boobs.

*flashback*

"Stop please I don't want this!" My mum screamed, balling her eyes out.

"Daddy stop! Mummy doesn't like it! STOP! Your hurting her!" I shout. He gets up and glares at me.

"Shut the fuck up Maddison!" He shouted.

"No daddy, please stop! Your hurting my mummy!" I cry. He slapped me.

"You disobeyed me! I said shut the fuck up you brat!"  He began to move towards my mum with a knife.

"DADDY STOP!!! PLEASE! STOP! DONT DO THIS!" I screamed terrified for my mums life. Quickly, he turned around. I felt the sharpest pain in my stomach then everything went black...

* end of flashback*

My mum and I were bruised, beaten and scarred for life. That's the real reason our song is called 'Scars To Your Beautiful'. I used to starve myself and cut because of everything my daddy did. Then when I was 11 he killed himself. He hung himself in the attic.

"Maddison!" Lacey shouts snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Uhh... what?" I say confused.

"Your phone is ringing! Are you gonna answer it! They have rang you seven times!" She points out. It's my auntie. I grab my phone and answer the call. Slowly I put it to my ear.

"Madison?" She croaks out. She only calls me Madison when I've done something wrong or something bad has happened.

"Yes aunt Leah?" I say nervous. The next thing she says mentally kills me...

"Y-Your mom... she's dead Madison" She cries. My phone falls to the floor and I scream till I can't no longer. My head in my hands, I kneel onto the floor and sob uncontrollably.

"Maddie! What's wrong!?" Cassidy says.

"My moms dead Cassidy!" I cry. Her eyes well with tears as my mum was like her second mother. She was always there when Cassidy's mum wasn't. My throats tightens. I'm gasping for air.

"Maddie! Maddie, breathe! Everything will be okay!" Cassidy wraps her arms around me in a tight embrace.

"She's gone..." I sob still not believing it.

"I know Mads, I know" She cries into my shoulder.

"I have to go home!" I shout.

"All the way to England!?" Cassidy replies looking at me in the eyes. Yes, I'm British! Born and raised😉😜

"You can't!" My manager buts in. I nod and run to my room. I need to be alone. I need my mum back. But that'll never happen.

*a few hours later*

Cassidy's POV

"Girls we have to go!" Our manager says. Maddie hasn't left her room. We nod and I go to Maddie.

"We are off to meet the Why Don't We boys, are you coming babes?" I say sympathetically. She shakes her head.

"Okay we'll be about two hours, tops!" I notify her. She croaks out an okay and I go back downstairs.

"How is she holding up?" Brynn asks. I shake my head not even wanting to reply. We get in the car and our manager drives us to the WDW house.

Daniel's POV

We are currently at a interview.

"So if you could collaborate with anyone who would it be?" He asks.

"Fifth Harmony or Justin Bieber!" I answer immediatly.

"Ye and John Bellion for sure!" Zach says and everyone agrees.

"I've seen your music video for 'Nobody Gotta Know' and you were serenading ladies in the street and it looked pretty legit to me so if you could serenade any celebrity who would it be?" He says.

"Madison Ashby!" Me and Jack say at the same time.

"No bro she's mine!" Jack says.

"Nope I liked her first!" I say shrugging.

"A little fight my break out here!" The interviewer laughs.

"Madison Ashby is a gorgeous woman though!" Zach laughs.

"Ye she has a great voice too!" Corbyn says.

"She is so beautiful!" Jonah says holding his heart. I scoff sarcastically. The interviewer chuckle at us all.

"Looks like you all have a crush on the same girl!" He laughs.

"Yep... buttt she's mine!" I say putting my hand up.

"She won't be she will fall for my noodles!" Jack buts in. I roll my eyes and we look at each other and laugh. Oh shit! I've just admitted my crush to the whole world.

The interview ends and we're drive home. I go on Instagram and see loads of videos and pictures with the caption'Looks like @MaddieAshby is gonna have to be careful coz @whydontwemusic are into her😂'. Its everywhere! I scroll further down and see this \/@username1

Cassidy's POVIt takes us around five minutes to get there! Our manager knocks on the door and a cute blonde opens it.

"Corbyn!" Dave says. ( Our manager )

"Bro! What's up?" Corbyn says. The chat then we finally get let in.

Daniel's POVIn walk Brynn, Cassidy, Lacey, Kiera and... wait where's Maddie!?

"Where's Maddie?" I ask curious.

"Uhhh... s-she's.... uhh" Cassidy stutters and she tears up.

"It's okay Cass, we've got to move on..." Brynn comforts her.

"Maddie couldn't make it" Brynn smiles hugging Cassidy. Okayyyyyyy? Weird or what? Okay Daniel stop being horrible!

"Hi I'm Zach that's Jack, Daniel, Corbyn and Jonah!" Zach smiles.

"Hey I'm Kiera, this is Brynn, Lacey and Cassidy!" Kiera says. We all greet each other and they seem like really nice girls.

"We saw your cover of  Scars To Your Beautiful and it was amazing!" Lacey says.

"Thanks! We love your song it's so dope!" Corbyn says.

"Guys, I was thinking... maybe these girls could be your support act for the Something Different Tour!" Dave says.

"Ye! That would be dope!" Zach says. Everyone nods in agreement.

"Wait but when does tour start?" Cassidy says.

"Tomorrow!" I say.

"I'll call Maddie and tell her to come up!" She says. The girls nod and Cass gets out her phone and rings her.

Cassidy's POV

C- Hey Mads, your gonna have to come up to the Why Don't We houseM- No... I-I can't, Cass I'm a mess!C- Hun, you've got to! We're kinda going on tour with them...M- Uhh I guess! it'll take my mind of everything, right?C- Hopefully!M- But Cass I can't come I'm a sobbing, heartbroken mess! I haven't stopped crying...C- Chin up b, things will get betterM- Chin up!? Cass, she's my fucking mother and she's just died! She's the only person who's been by my side my whole life. I helped her and she helped me. After everything my dad did she tried her best to help me and get me out of that state of mind! Chin up!? You must be fucking kidding me!C- Look *sighs* Mads, Im sorry! Don't remind because then I'll start crying! I'm really sorry but we've got things to do...M- *sighs* Fine I'll be over soon! *puts the phone down*

"Is she coming?" Zach asks. I nod in reply.

Maddie's POV

I hop in the shower and wash my body being as quick as possible. I do simple makeup with a red lip and pick out my outfit which consists of black ripped jeans, a black crop top and a red flannel. I throw my hair up in a messy bun and tie a bandanna around it. Quickly, I throw my sunglasses on then I'm good to go...

I order an uber round to the WDW house. I pay then knock on the door. A very good looking guy answers. He has bright blue eyes with a tooth gap.

"Hi I'm Maddie!" I say trying not to get lost in his eyes.

"I'm Daniel nice to meet you!" He smiles. We go inside and there is everyone sat on the sofas.

"Maddie, this is Zach, Corbyn, Jonah, Jack and Daniel!" Dave says.

"Hi boys!" I smile and they greet me.

"OMG! Your British!" Zach exclaims.

"Born and raised" I winked.

"I love your accent!" He says and the boys nod.

"Thanks" I laugh

"No but seriously I could listen to you voice all day!" He says.

I find myself staring at Daniel. I'm gonna admit, I think I have a crush on Jack and Daniel! They are so cute! And I'm gonna be spending a full month with them!

Out of nowhere, Jack gets his phone out and starts recording me on Snapchat.

"Boom! Boom! Boom! Now let me hear ya say WEHO!" He shouts zooming in on me.

"WEHHHHOOOOOO!" I shout back and he laughs. This is gonna be fun!
