Chapter 57

04:49, 14 June 2023

As soon as Lhexi beheaded his favorite Nara, she grabbed his hair as his head dangled. Rich amount of blood spilled on the ground as his horrified expression was what left on his face.

Her purple eyes narrowed when her body reacted instinctively like a danger was coming. She immediately formed a ram sign and whispered the word "Release."

Shikamaru's head was nowhere to be found and she simply smiled when Asuma's trench knife sliced through her cheek as she flipped back. She wiped the blood off her cheeks using Shika's fingers before she licks his finger tips.

"Genjutsu huh, Kurenai-sensei?"

Lhexi whispered as she glanced to the side, seeing the black-haired woman holding Shikamaru in her arms as the boy continuously wailed at the lost of his arm.

Asuma's eyes were filled with venom as his eyes watched the girl hold his student's arm in the air.

"You little brat", he growled before Lhexi threw Shika's arm to the ground.

"Ah~ah~, I really thought I got his head there", she pursed her lips in annoyance.

Kurenai's red ringed eyes flared at Lhexi and the young girl raised an eyebrow.

"Kurenai-sensei, please don't look at me like that", Lhexi whispered as heat rushed to her cheeks in excitement and her lips slowly curled up into a playful smile. "You're turning me on."

The female Jonin creased her eyebrows in confusion and disgust.

"Lhexi, why are you doing this?", she asked, curiosity in her voice as she helps Shika stand up.

"Hm? Oh well of course I'm just playing around. I just got bored you see and chose to attack Konoha out of nowhere", Lhexi chuckled sarcastically before she frowned at their indifferent reactions. "You guys can't take a joke, can you?"

"Kurenai, take Shikamaru and get out of here. That brat can use the Seiryuugan," Asuma whispered to his girlfriend as Lhexi squats down alarming the two Jonin.

The black-haired woman's expression turned to a horrified fear as the young Ryuugaime stared back at her.

"Oh, don't mind me," she playfully giggled a little, amused at their contorted reactions as she tried shooing away the woman. "Go-go-go Kurenai-sensei, listen to your partner."

Lhexi could see Kurenai giving Asuma a worried look as the female Jonin held Shikamaru close to her before she made a run for it.

As Lhexi tried to stand up, the corner of her eyes saw Asuma's short-ranged attack. Her wrists flicked as she blocked his trench knives. They exchanged blows after blows, his speed versus the little girl's strength putting them at an equal state.

As their weapons strum a sound, Lhexi leaned her face forward, barely touching his eyelashes. "Hey, how good is it to fuck Kurenai-sensei?"

A vein popped over his neck as his jaw tightened at the mischievous girl's question. "I didn't know you were the kind of student to be curious about what your teachers do behind closed doors...!"

Lhexi grinned as he twisted his wrist and she met a sharp pain to her left abdomen as he dug his knife into her flesh.

"I was just wondering how good it would feel to fuck with her," Lhexi hissed as her body turned transparent and his eyes contorted to a horrified and anxious expression as he realizes that the girl was just a clone.

"Fuck you," the girl heard him curse before she tipped backwards and her consciousness awakened in her real body.

The ice clone jutsu is surely a good and helpful technique. She just have to shift her consciousness in one of her clones and she can freely use her abilities without inflicting any damage to her real body. The only downside to it is that, her real body would be left vulnerable.

Thanks to that man Naruto and Lhexi fought back in the land of Snow, she learned about this technique.

She stretched her arms out as she patiently waited for the two to arrive as her eyes glow golden.

"Kurenai."

If there was a person on her "to kill-list" second to Kyuuji's name, it would be that woman.

Flashback

"Hide...here...and don't make a sound okay?"

Asuna's brother whispered as he placed his sister in a cart before he pressed his lips on the girl's forehead.

"Onii-sama...it's itchy here...," the young princess complained as she scratched her skin touched by the stack of hay.

He smiled bitterly as he crouched down a little. "I know...I know...but, don't worry, I will come back here for you, I promise."

He placed his palm on her forehead as he formed seals using his other hand. A wave of pain surged through her head and she whimpered as tears formed in the corner of the girl's eyes.

"Shh...it's okay..."

Asuna grabbed ahold of his white robe making the young master stop on tracks before he smiled.

"Don't...go...," the girl whispered as he wipes her tears away.

"I will come for you I promise. Just count to one thousand and I will be back here, I promise."

Asuna pursed her lips as she bravely nodded.

"That's my little sis."

He covered the girl in a hay of stack and then as soon as her older brother left, she began to count in her head as she hugged her knees to her chest.

'Today is supposed to be my fun birthday, so why is everyone suddenly fighting each other?'

The cart suddenly creaked and she slapped her hand to her lips as she heard indistinct voices nearby. She could hear the beat of her own heart pulsating in her chest.

"Can you stand up? Kurenai?", it was a husky voice of a man. "You sealed all of their Kekkei Genkei in one go, you will die at this rate."

The sound of someone throwing up made Asuna flinch again as the cart creaked once more.

"Kurenai...!", the man hissed.

"There's still one...there's still another one...", Asuna's ears twitched at the voice of the woman. "Asuna...the princess...I still haven't sealed her kekkei genkei...something is blocking me from doing so..."

The young princess tried her best to remain silent as she hears her own name. Just then, she heard very faint footsteps getting thinner as the voices disappeared.

Asuna slowly pulls her hand away from her lips as she breathes out a sigh of relief.

'712...713...714...'

She continues to count in her head and just as she reached a thousand, her ears perked up at the familiar presence.

'Brother...!'

The hay of stack were pulled from over her head and she closed her eyes at the blinding light. As she opens her piercing golden eyes, she stopped breathing as she saw a black-haired woman with red ringed eyes. Blood were spilling out of the woman's red lips as her body froze at her next words.

"So you were hiding here...Asuna-hime..."

..........

Kurenai ran, as fast as her legs could carry her through the dense forest. Her messy black long hair whipped behind her, a white, wispy trail as she darted between the trees and over streams. But someone was following her. She looked over her shoulder, a flicker of fear passing across her features before she sped up, running through the trees like a phantom, her feet barely touching the ground. Shikamaru's shoulder bled nonstop as the rich blood left trails along the path of the woman who was carrying him.

Kurenai was on Lhexi’s heels, her feet barely touching the forest’s floor. The two ninja clashed blades in a flurry of steel. Lhexi’s eyes narrowed, a grin splitting her lips as she twisted her blade and sent a powerful kick to Kurenai’s chest. The older ninja tumbled back, but only a few steps, catching herself quickly by driving her feet into the forest floor, and slowly letting the young Chunin in her arms rest against one of the trees before propelling herself back into the fight.

Kurenai’s eyes narrowed, her hand forming a tiger seal and sending a wave of fire towards Lhexi.

"Katon! Ryuuka no Jutsu!"

Lhexi leapt above the fire, her eyes sparkling as she smiled and prepared her own elemental attack, water this time.

"Suiton! Suihou no Jutsu!"

The water and fire collided, a hiss and a spray of steam filling the air. Lhexi’s eyes were wide, but there was still a mischievous look in them that sent a shiver down her competitor’s spine.

The two were almost even in this battle, it had been a fair and balanced fight so far. But Lhexi’s eyes sparkled as she saw an opportunity, she began to weave sign after sign, her body a flurry of movement. Kurenai recognized her opponent’s hand signs, and knew what they were working towards, but she was too late.

A burst of water exploded out from Lhexi’s palm, hitting her opponent in the chest with a powerful jet of water. Her eyes widened in pure surprise, and she cried out in shock and pain as she fell to the ground.

She tried to get back on her feet, but Lhexi pressed the attack, striking her with blade after blade, and eventually Kurenai fell silent and still. Lhexi walked up to her downed opponent, and looked coldly up at the woman laying silent in the dirt. She crouched down, placing a cold hand around her opponent’s neck, and looked directly into her dying eyes.

"Look here."

Lhexi hardly slams her palm against the woman's cheeks as Kurenai didn't let out a single sound. Kurenai swallowed the lump in her throat as her red eyes were forced to stare back at Lhexi's purple ones.

"I'm gonna have some fun with Shika next so try your best not to die, 'kay?"

Lhexi felt saliva trickling down from her eyes when Kurenai spat on her face. Her lips coiled up as heat rushed to her cheeks in excitement.

"Wow! You're definitely the feisty one, aren't you?"

The eyes of her opponent met Lhexi’s and with a blood-curdling cry she rolled to one side. Lhexi gasped in surprise, her sword having missed the ninja by mere inches. She looked up at her opponent, her face filled with madness, excitement and thrill.

“My safe word is 'Pumpkin'!” Lhexi screamed, rushing forward. Kurenai looked up with surprise, and Lhexi’s sword cut deep into her arm, slicing through flesh and bone alike.

Not a word came back from Kurenai. Only a snarl, and a powerful kick sent Lhexi to her back. Her sword flew from her hand as she tumbled to the ground, and Kurenai moved in, her eyes sparking with rage. She drove her foot into Lhexi’s midriff, and the younger girl gasped, grabbing her stomach as she fell to the floor.

"Why aren't you using your kekkei genkei?"

Lhexi spat out some of blood from the cut on her lips.

"I wanna go easy on you but, it seems like you want me to be rough."

The young girl giggled as she stood up.

The battle between the two was at a stalemate, it was anyone’s game now.

The two moved in a flurry of kicks and punches, the two ninja battling for the upper hand. Blows came from both sides as the two women fought fiercely on the forest floor.

Lhexi landed a powerful kick to her opponents chest, sending her to the ground. She panted, breathing heavily as she stared at her opponent, a smile on her face despite a bruise forming on her cheek. The adrenaline was powerful in her mind, and she wanted this to last longer.

Her opponent got to her feet again, staring up at Lhexi with deep hatred and rage in her eyes. The two locked eyes, and then with a snarl Lhexi kicked the older ninja in the rib cage, knocking the breath out of her and sending her stumbling back. Lhexi smiled once more, watching with interest as Kurenai got to her feet again. The young girl loved a challenge, and now she had one, and she wasn’t going to pass up this opportunity. She took a step back again, but kept her eye on her opponent, ready for anything.

Lhexi stepped forward, and Kurenai took notice, raising an eyebrow.

"Don't tell me you've already had enough?"

Kurenai chuckled as she gasped for air and the two women circled each other.

Lhexi shook her head, smiling coldly at her opponent. "Not quite yet." She said in her usual smooth, yet devilish tone.

The two women came in again, this time throwing punches at each other, and Lhexi landed one hard punch to Kurenai's face. The older woman hissed in pain, bleeding from the nose.

Lhexi's face grew even crueller, and she smiled. It was the kind of smile that could bring an adult man to his knees in terror. She was still holding back, and the pain she inflicts only seemed to make her happier. And then she laughed, a laugh that sent chills up and down her opponents spine. Kurenai had never heard a laugh quite so evil.

The two women continued their furious battle on the ground, but Lhexi slowly but surely began to push her opponent back. And then suddenly, she snapped the leg of the older woman.

The older woman screamed in pain, looking down at herself in horror, her bone sticking out of her leg. She looked up at Lhexi, tears in her eyes, and Lhexi laughed again.

"Aww, that's cute," she said, mockingly, "Do you need me to get you some help? Don't worry, you'll get used to it soon," she said, her voice lowering into a savage tone.

Kurenai tried to push herself back up to attack once more, but couldn't, her leg twisted at an unnatural angle, still lying on the forest floor.

"You know you got lucky, right?" Lhexi said, looking at the woman she had beaten. "The only reason you had a chance in hell was because I was taking it easy on you, letting you attack me, giving you the opportunity to land a blow. But of course..." a wicked smile spread across Lhexi's face, "You didn't think I'd take it that easy on you did you?"

The younger girl laughed as she walked up to her opponent and placed her foot on her chest. With a shove, she sent the older woman to the floor as she dug her foot against Kurenai's chest. A blood-coiling scream was heard as Lhexi ruptured Kurenai's ribcage.

“Let’s see who deserves to go to hell now,” she laughed, laughing even harder as Kurenai tried to get up off of the ground, her arms trembling from pain as she pushed herself up.

Lhexi reached down and grabbed her opponent’s arm, gripping it fiercely as she pulled them to their feet. “Get up,” she laughed, not helping the struggling woman to her feet. “Try again.”

Lhexi pulled her opponent back out of the dirt and let go, laughing. “Try again.”

The female Jonin was in no state to fight, the younger girl easily dodged her clumsy movements and struck her multiple times, not even a sweat breaking out on her forehead.

“Come on! That’s all you’ve got? Even a child could fight better than that,” she laughed, not a hint of mercy in her eyes. Her opponent could see a cruel, ruthless smile forming on her mouth, the girl was a monster in disguise.

Lhexi smiled, the older woman looking up at her with a fearful, desperate expression. “Let me help you,” the younger ninja said, smiling with a malicious tone. “What will help you the most is this.” and in seconds, Lhexi had her sword at it’s opponent’s throat. And then suddenly, Lhexi turned and swung at the tree, slicing right through it with her blade.

She looked back to her opponent with an innocent smile, not revealing the malicious intentions. The older Jonin looked at her with fear, but a small smirk found it’s place on her face.

Lhexi leaned down, and pushed her opponent to the ground, before straddling over her. Kurenai tried to push herself back up to attack once more, but couldn’t help herself. She felt her heart beating out of her chest, her hand on the hilt of her katana, as she looked up at her opponent. Lhexi just chuckled, her voice dripping with sarcasm.

“It’s too late for you to do anything, now.”

Kurenai was crying on the ground, a horrible fear filling her heart as the younger girl stared down at her. With a cruel grin, Lhexi leaned down to her opponent, and punched her in the face. Kurenai  cried out in pain, her head spinning as she tried to look up at her opponent.

“Why,” the jonin cried, tears streaming down her face. She looked up at Lhexi, her eyes filled with pain. “Why are you doing this to me?”

“Why?” Lhexi hissed, looking down at her opponent. “So you would suffer more, what’s wrong with that?”

Kurenai tried to speak, but she couldn’t find the words to say. She was in too much pain, her throat so sore that she could barely speak.

Lhexi sighed. “Why bother fighting for something you already lost.”

Without warning, Lhexi raised her fist, and in one swift motion swung for Kurenai’s face once more.

Kurenai felt tears flow down her cheeks as Lhexi took hold of her hand, holding her firmly to the ground. “Why…” she said, her voice shaking, looking up at the younger girl.

Lhexi laughed, holding Kurenai’s wrist tight.  “Why are you crying?” the younger girl said. “I’m helping you. This is all going to help you.”

Lhexi's fist struck Kurenai's face repeatedly, anger and malice boiling over. "If you weren't there...that night...!", she hissed, her each punch packing a lot of force despite not encasing it with chakra.

The older woman's face was battered, swollen, and bruised after Lhexi finished punching her. Her voice trembled when Lhexi forcibly parted her mouth, her lips touching her nose. She felt Lhexi's fingers wrapped around her tongue as she playfully pulled on it.

"You won't need this, do you?"

Kurenai couldn't speak as blood gushed out from her mouth like waterfalls. Lhexi smirked as blood sprayed on her pale skin, looking down at her opponent, the anger in her eyes. Lhexi was enjoying this, a sick sense of happiness bubbling inside her heart.

"You deserve this."

The girl slowly stood up. Lhexi smiles, looking down at her hopeless opponent lying on ground barely alive. “Now that wasn’t too hard, was it?” She said, her voice cold. “I enjoyed that. And you know what.” Lhexi let out a wicked little laugh, “I think I’ll have to do this again.”

Lhexi paused for a bit when she activated her Seiryuugan. Lhexi smiled, the cruelest smile imaginable as she noticed a faint life form in Kurenai's womb.

"Hey...hey...hey... aren't you two going too fast?" Lhexi chuckled like a maniac as she slowly pressed the sole of her boots against Kurenai's stomach.

"Congratulations! It's a girl!" Lhexi grinned as Kurenai tried to stand up hearing that she was carrying a child.

Her maternal instincts kicked in as she tried to protect Asuma's kid growing inside her.

“Nghhh....”

The lower half of Kurenai's face was bleeding as she couldn't speak without her tongue.

Lhexi could hear the fear in her opponents voice for her child, and for a moment, she considered stopping her attack. But she couldn’t let herself stop, she couldn’t feel pity towards this pathetic little woman. “Be quiet,” she hissed, looking down at her opponent. “I’m putting an end to your pain, and you’re complaining?”

Just as Lhexi was about to stomp over Kurenai's stomach, her body froze. Her purple eyes moved to the side to follow the long trail of shadow and saw the young Nara, bravely making a hand sign using only his one hand.

Lhexi's eyebrows raised as her interest shifted towards the one armed Shikamaru.

"You know, you should stop meddling with personal fights," Lhexi muttered as her body moved against Shikamaru's shadow Possession Jutsu.

"Do it now! Kurenai-sensei!" Shikamaru yelled and Lhexi's eyes glow golden as she tried to step back after seeing Kurenai back on her one working leg as her fingertips touched Lhexi's tummy.

'Seal!' Kurenai said in the back of her head as she twisted her wrist, sending a wave of chakra from her fingertips to Lhexi's body.

Just as Kurenai finished with her sealing jutsu, Lhexi got out of the shadow's bind. She sends a powerful kick on Kurenai's stomach, sending the battered woman flying against a boulder.

Lhexi felt her mind start to split, and she was filled with pain, a searing sensation that ran through her mind. Her thoughts began to become incoherent, a feeling of dread washing over her heart. She wanted it to stop, the pain was too much for her to handle and she could feel a splitting headache coming on.

The girl felt herself changing, her features twisting and shifting. Her hair began changing colour, her hair turning from black to brown as her eyes changed from purple to gold. She felt her features twisting and distorting, as the pain continues.

"No...! Lhexi! Not yet! Not yet!" Asuna hissed, her voice shaking ever so slightly.

Asuna felt herself shrinking, she was no longer a cruel mastermind who enjoyed hurting others. Instead she felt weak, and vulnerable. Everything she had done was gone. She was a different person to who she was before. She felt like she had been stripped of her power and strength, and she wanted it back. Her confidence had disappeared, replaced with insecurity and self loathing.

Asuna had always had tremendous power, and not being able to control it was destroying her. She felt weak, her hands shaking, her knees trembling with fear. She didn’t know what was happening, and she was desperate to understand what, and why, she was changing. She was filled with rage and fear - anger that she couldn’t control the situation, and sheer terror that she was losing herself.

She had become evil, but in this moment, she felt small and weak, and like the world was against her, that nothing could ever fix her.

She felt scared and alone, with nothing to make her stronger. This was a side of her she didn’t like, a side she didn’t want others to see. A side she never knew existed, and she wanted to be rid of it as soon as possible.

Asuna looked up, seeing Konoha Shinobi surrounding her, and she felt an overwhelming sense of fear and dread. She hated her own existence, and she could feel fear bubbling inside her heart, as she felt a splitting headache spread across her mind. She didn't deserve to live, this was her punishment, and she couldn't run anymore. She knew what she had done was wrong, but she will never take it back.

Asuna felt pure terror as she continues to look up, at the Konoha shinobi, all of them were glaring at her, their eyes filled with resentment and hatred. Asuna felt herself start to shake, her heart beating in her chest and her hands trembling as she looked around at them in fear. She was outnumbered, there was no way she could get out of this situation unhurt. She wasn’t as strong as she used to be, and the Shinobi were looking for revenge.

"Lhexi...Please come back...,” she whispered, shaking in fear as the Konohagakure Shinobi stood there, staring at her with cold, cruel eyes. The Shinobi just stood there, still and hatred behind their emotionless eyes, looking on with pain and disappointment, and Asuna knew that any minute she could suffer a brutal end.
