Chapter 33

A/N

So I just finished watching Jujutsu Kaisen and hell damn Mappa made a masterpiece! The animations were so smooth and freaking awesome, credits to to the animators. You did well! For those who haven't watch it yet, I recommend it guys you won't regret it, I promise.

I wish I could marry the annoying version of Kakashi~

On with the story!

For those who weren't notified.

I'm gonna post a new chapter everyday.

Its the payment for not publishing a single chapter for two weeks.

Alexa's POV

Now that I could see at him from a close distance, he looks like a south-east asian, except for the hair 'cause its natural, not the ones I've seen on magazines in my past life.

Well, I don't have time to be thinking useless things. I have to finish this fast.

"Use of ninja tools are allowed but, refrain from killing each other. If no one has an objection then the match may start."

I felt Anko's eyes on me as if daring me to fight back.

"Now begin!"

My eyes lingered to every inch of his body from head to toe.

Nensho Oka, he's Tohru's teammate. From the Nensho clan who specialize in using Scorch release.

What a troblesome kekkei genkei.

I sighed. If only I could freely use my ice release I can win. In order to fight back his scorch release I would need my secondary elemental affinity, water. But, I can't use ninjutsus due to the curse mark. Which means, I could only rely on taijutsu and kenjutsu.

What a pain.

Then the last and most problematic one, I have everyone's eyes on me especially Kyuuji and the Third Hokage. If I use any Ryuugaime skills at the very least I might as well be good as dead.

So all in all, I can't win.

Anko was right, the perfect answer for this match is for me to give up. I removed my hand on the handle of my katana before looking at the proctor.

"Hayate-san, I--"

"LHEXI-CHAN YOU CAN DO IT!!!"

Argh. Seriously, Naruto?

You're embarassing me...

Just then a bright flash blinded my eyes and I immediately backflipped away before the scorching fire could reach me. Then it was followed by several shurikens coated with fire, I brought out my katana and blocked the weapons.

"Hey, Nensho-san, why don't we finish this quickly?", I asked.

He just stared at me before popping his gum. "You're being cocky right now, aren't you?"

It looks like he misunderstood what I meant.

"Well--", he spat out his gum.

"Anyone who underestimate me will be burned to cinders, prepare to become ashes Alexa!!"

He moved his hand upwards and I looked behind me to see fireballs attacking me. I quickly ducked but, kunais rained down on me in great numbers.

I either dodged or blocked them with my sword. One kunai managed to went pass my sight, stabbing me on my arm.

Blood trickled down on the floor and I unintentionally let go of my sword.

More scorch followed burning the tiles on the floors. I would have been a grilled meat if I wasn't able to doge them properly.

"This is boring...", I moved my gaze upwards towards the orange haired boy. "I was expecting you to be better than this. Looks like I overestimated you. Mah, not like it matter now.", he raised his hands and performed handsigns.

"Secret Ninja Art: Blasting Scorch Claws."

My eyes widened at the three huge curved shaped fire approaching me, normally I could have easily avoided it. But, my sight suddenly turned hazy and my body slowed down. In result the scorch devoured me instantly. My whole body prickled with a hot burning sensation and I could only scream in pain.

'It hurts! It hurts! It hurts! Damn it!'

Third Person's POV

Naruto was right on the top of the railings, ready to jump down to save the girl who was engulfed in fire. He was stopped nontheless by none other than his sensei himself who pulled him by the back of his collar.

"Matte, Naruto."

"Let me go, Kakashi-sensei! Can't you her screaming?! Are you just gonna ignore it?!"

Sakura and Ino had their hands to their mouth as they watch the swirl of bright yellow fire on the arena. Worry was visible on their faces, especially Sasuke who's bare hands crippled the metal railings.

Gaara watched in amusement at Oka who stood proudly at what was transpiring and dissapointed at Alexa for being easily beaten.

"I was expecting much from your teammate.", the red haired said towards Itsuki and Yuri who's eyes were fidgeting as she watch the match.

"Shut up!", Yuri was aggravated at the display of her female teammate's weakness.

Itsuki however just narrowed his eyes and silently placed his fingers on his chin.

'Knowing Lhexi, she could have easily dodged that attack...'

The jonin pulled Naruto back resulting to the boy landing on his butt.

"The match is not yet over, Naruto. Put some trust on her. Besides, you're her closest friend right? Shouldn't you know her the best?", Kakashi said with a close eyed smile.

Naruto looked at his sensei with an irritated glare before it widened for seeing that he had his sharingan revealed.

He stood up properly and bended his body a little to see the fight. The fire already stopped and his eyes creased in pain at the sight of her disfigured and burned skin.

She was in her knees in the middle of the black remains of the scorch earlier.

Oka grinned sadistically. "Oya, oya? Already done? Is that all you've got? You barely even made an attack. Argh, I shouldn't have trusted the bingo book. Someone as weak as you is B-rank? What a bunch of lies. You're even far weaker than a mere insect."

Naruto clenched his jaw. If those words were thrown at him, he wouldn't mind since he's use to being bullied however, the one Oka was mistreating was his bestfriend.

He was sure, he was losing himself impatiently. But what happened next, cleared his thoughts.

Lhexi stood up and Naruto could see the dark look on her eyes. She placed her hand on her neck covering a mark that was oddly present.

"Poison huh?"

Everyone in the stadium looked at her.

Oka began laughing like a maniac. "Right! That's right! It's poison! I coated those kunais with poison! It's not a surprise you quickly realized it, since you must have felt the difference with your body."

"That dirty bastard!", Naruto growled.

Sakura gritted her teeth. "Kakashi-sensei! Isn't that cheating?!"

The silver haired man lowered his book slightly. "Hm...Poison is a ninja tool, so its not considered as cheating."

Naruto ruffled his hair in frustration. "What?! It's not cheating?! To hell with those rules!!"

Lhexi began moving forward to her opponent.

"Ehh...I'm surprised you could still move after being poisoned and burned by my scorch release. Normally you should have been dead by now.", Oka performed another series of handsigns. "Well, its only matter of time before that. Let me have some fun first. Scorch Style: Torpid Tornado!"

Everyone gasped at the swirling fire that reached the ceiling of the room burning everything on its path making its way towards its designated target. It was much larger than the one before and everyone knew she would not be able to dodge that.

"LHEXI-CHAN WATCH OUT!!"

She whispered something under her breath and only Kakashi was able to decipher the words coming out of the girl's mouth due to his sharingan.

"Hidden Art: Dark Shadow Dance...", the fire engulfed her once again.

Guy stepped a little closer to the rail to get a better glimpse of what was happening. He doens't have any ocular power like Kakashi but, his experience let him see the shadow that kept on dissapearing everytime the girl takes a step, making her look invisible to the naked eye.

It was oddly similar to the one he encountered before. It is probably the only technique that could rival the Eight Gates. His eyes contracted as he squint them to see the girl walking casually.

'It's almost like...'

"Guy-sensei, what is it?", Lee asked.

Guy clenched his fists, ugly memories coming back to him when he saw that technique. "Lee, can you see it?"

"See what? Sensei?"

On the eyes of everyone in the room except for Guy, Kakashi, Hiruzen and Kyuuji, they couldn't see anything.

The brown haired male lifted his eyebrows. 'Those movements...'

He lowered his head a little thinking deeply until he heard a grave voice.

"What do you think Kyuuji?", the third hokage asked making everyone beside him looked back in question.

"She has potential.", the words that came out of his mouth made his  two subordinates gape in shock and rather surprise.

"Nani? Nani? What am I missing?", Hikari asked.

"Is there something interesting happening?", Shinui moved his eyes back to the arena.

"Don't trouble yourselves Hikari, Shin, you would need an intense training to see that.", Kyuuji announced before diverting his attention towards the female who finally stopped walking.

A bid of sweat rolled down on Oka's forehead, he may not see it but, he could feel the presence of danger infront of him. He was sure he got her but, luck doesn't seem to be on his side for today.

He moved a step back as he grip the two fuma shuriken on his back. The moment he blinked his eyes he could see a dark shadow looming over his body.

And the next thing he knew, he lifted a punch towards the shadow. Everyone gasped at the scene, she was infront of him holding his fist coated with scorch with her left hand not the very least fidgeting nor flinching.

"I-is this for real? Let go, you bitch or your hand may go crisp.", he tried pulling his hand away but, couldn't, her grip was too strong.

"I'll teach you...", he could see the girl raising her head as she look down on him, her bangs flinging to the side, her eyes were filled with the desire for fun. "...how to properly throw a punch."

Sasuke unconsciously smiled to himself at the breathtaking scene. The ground cracked from the impact of Lhexi's right fist colliding with Oka's stomach. His body was on the air as his hand was trapped inside the girl's fingers.

She pulled her fist again before throwing another punch this time releasing the boy sending him a good 10 meters away crashing on the two hand statues.

Hiruzen chuckled lowly. "That brute strength greatly reminds me of Tsunade."

Neji watched with his eyes wide in shock. 'She was this...this...powerful? And yet she lost to me?'

"Way to go Lhexi!", Tenten cheered with a proud face.

"We already got one Lady Tsunade we don't want another one...", Asuma trailed off as he puff a smoke on the air.

"Guy! What have you been teaching to her?", a few stares turned to Kakashi and Guy.

"I only trained her but, not to this level.", Guy replied.

"Kakashi-sensei, what are you talking about? It's not like its your first time seeing it.", Sakura chimed it, unaware of the tension among the teachers.

"Oh and by the way she could also use medical ninjutsu! Man she's definitely the next Lady Tsunade!", Tenten shouted out loud making the other teachers gawk.

"Iryo ninjutsu?", even Kakashi was visibly shocked.

"At her age?", Kurenai asked to Tenten, the latter sweatdropping before nodding.

"Yeah.."

Kakashi turned his body towards the match thinking. 'Could it be that girl is a prodigy?'

Oka coughed up blood repeatedly before standing on his feet, removing the rubbles on top of his body.

'If it wasn't for the metal armor, I could have died. That really knock a punch. Damn it."

"Is that guy a beast? He still could stand up after taking that damage?", Naruto asked to no one in particular.

Surprisingly it was Sasuke who answered. "He's probably wearing an armor inside his clothes."

Naruto blinked his eyes. "Is that so? Maah, Lhexi-chan will win anyways! Right Sakura-chan?"

The pinkette had her eyes droop a bit. "Lhexi have been poisoned right?"

Sasuke nodded. "Yeah, and its certainly taking a toll on her body."

"I'm surprised you can see the difference Sasuke.", this statement made an angry vein pop on the Uchiha's forehead.

"I'm not blind. Besides, she's moving even slower than before.", Sasuke remarked back to Kakashi who only smiled.

"By the way Kakashi-sensei, why isn't Lhexi using any ninjutsus? Shoudn't that be her forte?", Sakura gripped her hands tightly to each other.

"It must have been because of that mark.", team 7 turned their attention to Itsuki.

"Mark? What mark?", Naruto asked a question mark popping above his head.

Sasuke quickly diverted the topic. "Sakura what poison do you think it is?"

Naruto can't know that Lhexi was also attacked by Orochimaru or he might snap. And that was the least thing, Sasuke would need now.

Sakura was taken aback by Sasuke's sudden question before speaking. "I don't know what specific type, but most probably its a mixed chemical that slows down the body and...!", her green eyes widened.

"What's the matter Sakura? Continue explaining.", their sensei said.

"Don't tell me...!", Sakura leaned on the barricade.

One girl suddenly began talking. "You probably already guessed it pinkette. It's a poison that eats out the cells resulting to the body not functioning well. That's why that kid is slowing down."

"Eating out the cells, you say?!", Naruto grimaced.

"It's been five minutes since she was poisoned, I'd say she probably have another five before her chakra system breaks down. Then she'll die."

Kakashi narrowed his eyes at the waterfall kunoichi.

"Now, she only got one choice to live and that is...", she smirked slyly.

"BEG!!", Oka shouted as his gaze never left the figure of Lhexi on her knees. "Time is running out Alexa. If this continues you will surely die!"

"She might have the talent but, this match doesn't favor her.", Kyuuji spoke to the Third.

"Who knows, a miracle might occur. Keep your eyes glued on her Kyuuji, you might find something interesting."

Kyuuji watched in boredom as his fingers tap on his other elbow. "This is a waste of time, hokage-sama. She will definitely lose."

He wasn't amused nor interested, it was just because of his curiosity that was still holding him to watch the match. He's only reason for being there was because of  Sasuke and he's looking forward to his match.

He had to see with his own eyes, how much he have grown and whether he has the potential to defeat the S-rank criminal, Uchiha Itachi.

There was one point in time where he almost swore to himself that he would kill the older Uchiha with his own hands but, after learning that he had spared his younger brother it made him think otherwise.

Uchiha Sasuke, definitely have a bigger vengeance towards Itachi than him. But, one thing still lingers in his thoughts.

Why would Itachi spare his younger brother?

There was no sense behind it since Sasuke will only grow stronger and enact revenge against him. At any point you look at, it doesn't benefit him in any way.

The only answer would be that, Itachi still have at the very least compassion towards Sasuke. Kyuuji looked up, he was also deeply compassionate about a certain girl but, he still killed her.

He's probably even worse than Itachi himself, that was his thought.

It had already been years since that day but, he was still living under regret, shame and guilt.

He heard an uproar and his eyes traveled downwards.

Two fuma shuriken were flying mid-air at a fast pace, more than that they were coated with scorch leaving trails on the ground.

'He has great control. He would definitely become a strong shinobi. Now, what are you gonna do Takeda Alexa?'

The girl stumbled away from the huge shurikens that returned back to their owner before they were thrown again towards her.

Lhexi began running amidst the black dots that were covering her eyesight. She pulled up her sword with her other hand that wasn't injured before taking a stance.

'3 minutes left...'

She headed towards her opponent and fought him using kenjutsu and taijutsu. Oka was losing although the girl could barely see anything.

Her kenjutsu skills were just that superb surprising the jonins watching the fight. She stabbed the boy in the shoulder before twisting the sword making him groan in pain.

"You bitch!", he leaped away and blocked the kunai that was sent towards him, not noticing the girl running behind him.

He crossed his arms and somehow managed to block the sword attack but, not the kunai that stabbed him on his thigh.

"Argghh!!"

He was then punched on his chin before he was kicked to his stomach, making him skid on the ground.

"Interesting...", he began chuckling to himself.

He prepared his fuma shuriken once again feeding the two weapons with his chakra that soon burned bright yellow before turning dark blue.

"I wasn't expecting to use this technique so early. I have been training myself for 2 years to master this."

Tohru's eyes widened a little.

"Oi, is he really gonna do that? Didn't master forbids him to?", the girl beside Tohru exclaimed.

Oka grinned before performing handsigns. "Secret Art of Scorch Release: Demonic Twin Fuma Blades!"

Lhexi found the technique to be awfully familiar.

He held the two moving fuma shuriken through their holes, before finally releasing it.

"DIE TAKEDA ALEXA!!"

"Lhexi...", Tohru whispered worriedly.

"LHEXI-CHAN!!", Naruto screamed in sweat blood.

Kakashi sweatdropped, even he might not be able to completely eradicate those powerful scorch enhanced shurikens.

Kyuuji sighed as he close his eyes. That attack was not on a genin level, that was atleast an A-rank technique.

Looks like he has to step in or a fellow leaf shinobi will die. He opened his eyes and his right hand created waft, he was about to freeze the weapons when he noticed the girl waiting for the two fuma shurikens to reach her.

Everyone held their breath when it was about to strike her. 

Naruto blinked his eyes at the sight.

Certainly relieved but troubled.

"Did she just...", Sasuke and Sakura nodded.

All at the same time, the three said. "Yes she did."

Asuma dropped the cigar on his hand as he rub his eyes, not believing what was transpiring before his eyes. "Oi, oi!"

Shikamaru clicked his tounge. "Seriously? That Lhexi really...worrying us to death..."

"Mah Shikamaru that was a close call.", Choji grinned.

Kyuuji watched the girl holding the two fuma shuriken with her bare hands with ease. She caught them easily as if they were not dangerous.

The weapons were still spinning around startling everyone when she twirled her hands making the blades rotate faster than ever that only the blue light could be seen.

Oka stepped back before falling on his butt. "Lie...Lies! H-how?! How could you easily control them! It took me an entire two years to master that!"

The room was silent waiting for the girl to speak.

"I underestimated you but, not as much as you underestimated me.", her silent footsteps alerted the Waterfall ninja.

"D-don't take a single more step, you bastard. Have you already forgotten you have been poisoned!", Oka laughed thinking he already won.

"Oh about that.", Lhexi dropped a pouch on the ground, its contents slightly leaking out. Several green beads were on the ground. "I already ate one just to be on the safe side."

"T-that's the antidote...! H-how?!"

The fuma shurikens still continuosly spun around. Lhexi looked at him before blinking her eyes. "People who carry poisons typically bring the antidotes too. Well, I was guessing that you must be carrying one too in case you or your comrades get accidentally poisoned."

She threw the two huge weapons making its way towards the poor kid who closed his eyes bracing for the impact. The blades cut through the concrete behind him, stopping in the process. His head was dangerously in between his two greatest weapons.

He slowly fluttered his eyes just to realize his sight got suddenly fuzzy.

"W-what's happening...?", he asks no to no one in particular.

His body was getting weaker as each second pass by. His eyes stopped on his stabbed leg and they visibly widened. He found his own kunai coated with his poison cutting through his flesh.

"T-this is my...", he fell on the ground sitting, his back against the wall already tired and drained out of chakra.

Hayate coughed already aware that the match was over. "Takeda Alexa from the Hidden Leaf Village wins!"

The stadium roared in applause and Lhexi sighed in relief before shooting a smug look at Anko. The latter laughed to herself gaining the attention of other jonins.

The girl crouched down and picked up the pouch before walking towards Oka who was still on the ground.

"What are you gonna do? Make me beg?", Lhexi ignored what he was saying and threw the antidote in his hands before walking away.

The boy looked at the andidote in his arms. Oka looked at her back as she walk towards the stairs. His lips twitched a little into a smile as he fight back the urge to cry at that moment.

Alexa's POV

I shouldn't keep on using painkillers or I might get addicted. I couldn't feel anything just the numbness with my body.

That twin blade attack though, if I wasn't familiar with it I might had my head chopped off. Thankfully jiichan trained me with it a few years ago, although I haven't exactly mastered the technique I can move it with ease.

Shit.

They might be thinking I'm a prodigy or some sort.

That was when I saw the ceiling moving away and I fell into someone's arms. I really overworked myself.

I fluttered my purple eyes open just to see the annoying masked face of Kakashi.

"That was a good fight, Alexa.", he eyesmiled at me as if he was proud.

I couldn't help but, twitch my lips upwards, pleased and happy with myself before I passed out into a soundless sleep.

I'm hungry...

Takoyaki would be great...

A/N

I was thinking of describing the fight through Kyuuji's POV but, the others reactions are needed as well. I'm not really good at writing fighting scenes, I'm sorry if it wasn't par to your imaginations.

I'm gonna write a better one soon enough.
