☆6 - It's not a good boy.☆
10:34, 2 May 2023Corvidstorm was sneaking out of camp.
It wasn't even that hard. It was nearly moonhigh, and everyone was sleeping. No guards. If anyone had caught him, he was just going to say he had to get some fresh air, but no one had caught him yet.
He snuck through the pine trees. The moon was only as thin as a claw, but it shone brightly. The trees were starting to grow thinner, and the ferns that were a tail-length removed from the WindClan border started coming into sight.
As was Hollyflame. The brown tom was sitting at the border looking up at the moon.
Corvidstorm sped up a bit, and Hollyflame looked his way, starting to purr.
"Hey, Corvy! Ya actually came, innit?" He exclaimed. "Ya didn't take a patrol with ya, did you?"
Corvidstorm chuckled. "I can ask you the same," he purred. "What do you wanna talk about?"
Hollyflame twitched his whiskers happily. "Just wanted to chat. Yer' a nice tom. I like ya."
Corvidstorm flushed. "T-thanks. I like you too." He purred.
Hollyflame and Corvidstorm leaned into eachother. Slowly, they bonked their heads together, purring in chorus.
"Do you want to be my mate, Corvidstorm?"
I get it. I don't like Pearleaf, because I don't like she's.
"I do want to." He replied.
Hollyflame nodded, satisfied. Suddenly, his satellite-like ears turned.
Up on a hill on WindClan territory, was a big dog.
It was running right towards them.
Corvidstorm hissed. "Run! Hollyflame, come!" Both of the toms raced into ShadowClan territory, and Hollyflame clawed up in a tree.
I can't climb!
"I can't climb! Hollyflame, help!" He shouted.
Hollyflame looked at him with wide, amber eyes before jumping down and racing up to the dog - who had now passed the WindClan border.
He hissed at the dog like a snake, and slashed at it's snout. The dog growled angrily, and snapped it's huge maw at Hollyflame, but missed.
In the meanwhile Corvidstorm was working himself up a tree in a slouchy fashion.
"Hollyflame! Come!" He called out, settling on a wobbly branch.
Hollyflame was springing and shifting around the dog, quick as a hawk. Slash here, scratch there, snap jaws at tail. Corvidstorm admired his braveness.
One last scratch and the dog was whining and whimpering, running away with it's tail between it's legs.
Hollyflame turned around, calling out to Corvidstorm. "Are you okay?" Corvidstorm nodded shakily. "I'm okay." He clambered down the tree, half climbing half falling.
They bonked heads. "I'm glad you're okay. I'm sorry this got outta hand." He meowed.
"It's okay, Hollyflame. I think I need to go down though." Corvidstorm eyed the moon, wich has sunken down significantly.
"Ya, me too. The moon sunk down quite a bit, innit? Let's get moving." He purred. "Let's meet up again in two sunrises, okay?" Corvidstorm nodded, and they rubbed their flanks together, tails entertwining.
Corvidstorm padded back into camp, and nestled into his nest with a content sigh.
I love you Hollyflame. He purred under his breath.
