Jeremy turns 16

Jeremy's POV

I walked back the room and say by her bed.

I grabbed her hand and kissed her cheek. I looked at the clock and it was 12:01. It was officially January21 my birthday I turn 16. My only wish is for Dakota for her to get better and wake up.

"Kota I'm so so so so sorry I changed. I'm sorry I ditched you. I love you I really do. More than a friend. Please wake up. Please. My birthday wish is for you to wake up please" I didn't know I started crying. But I was I squeezed her hand and thought I felt her squeeze back. I looked at her. She was still asleep must be my head.

"I k ow it's my birthday and I'm supposed to be getting a present. But this is for you". I slowly leans down and kissed her so gently. I felt sparks. I pulled back and she was blushing and smiling. Her eye kids started twitching and her eyes slowly opened.

"Happy birthday Jeremy" she said in a really quite voice trying not to hurt her throat.

"How'd you know it was the 21st. When I brought oh ere two weeks ago?"

"My dad" "but he's dead" "in my limbo I seen him. And Jeremy I could have been dead" "why'd you do it?" "Eric might have gotten hurt, moms never there, Jan's my only friend, you left me, and I miss my dad so much." "Can I tell you something." "Yeah" "Dakota. I love you." I then kissed her and felt those sparks again. I kissed her as if she could brake. She smiled into the kiss and when I pulled back she was blushing. "I I've you to jer." "Hey Kota did you feel the sparks" her blush got deeper "yes" I laughed then a doctor came in. "Oh good your awake you have to stay in here today and the we can let you go tomorrow. Your frie-" "boyfriend"I said "your boyfriend needs to watch over you 24/7 for a week and needs to give you one pill from both of these bottles a day" with that he left.
