MIA'S POV

The next morning, I wake up at nine. The set is only a block away from the hotel, so it's only a five minute walk.

I get out of bed, quickly shower, and change into a grey tank top, blue shorts with white outlining, and Nike shoes. I leave my hair down and I put on light makeup.

I come out and see Anna already dressed in ripped jeans and a Nirvana shirt. 

"Geez, how did you get changed so fast?" I ask her. 

"Not everyone takes fifteen minutes to get dressed, babe," Anna laughs. 

"Fair enough," I agree.

We walk out of the hotel and off to set, where I see Mackenzie walking in just as we get there. I say goodbye to Anna and run over to Mackenzie.

"Hey!" She greets. 

"Where do we go from here? I've never done this before," I tell her. 

Mackenzie laughs. "We just go to hair and makeup right now."

Mackenzie leads me down to hair and makeup, where there are multiple chairs for us to sit in, in front of mirrors and a bunch of hair and makeup stuff. There are also multiple hair stylists and makeup artists for each person. 

I sit down in a chair next to Mackenzie and let them do their work. The outfit they put me in is a cute striped t-shirt, black skinny jeans, and white converse. They put my hair in a high ponytail and they put a bunch of hairspray in it, to keep the baby hairs from sticking out. They put some natural-looking makeup on me; foundation, mascara, eyeliner, peach-colored lipstick, some blush, and light eyeshadow.

As Mackenzie and I are on our way back up, I see Emma and Bailee coming down the stairs. 

"Hey, guys!" Emma exclaims, hugging the both of us. 

"Hey!" I reply.

"You guys look so cute," Bailee compliments. 

"Thanks," Mackenzie smiles.

"Yeah, thanks. I love this outfit! I wish it was mine," I laugh. 

Bailee and Emma sit down in their chairs and Mackenzie and I head upstairs. As soon as we get to the set, they put me right to work. 

It's the very first scene of the movie, where I sit on the bed, writing in a journal. The scene is basically just Raelynn talking about how her dad left and how her mom doesn't pay any attention to her, and she wishes things were different. 

The next scene takes place that same day. It's just where Zoey and Raelynn are walking and Raelynn is ranting to Zoey about her parents, but all Zoey can talk about is this boy that she likes. 

When we finish one more scene, I'm told to go back down to hair and makeup. 

I run back down and this time, the scene is in the middle of the movie, so Raelynn has already started to act out. My next outfit is a really short black crop top, navy blue skinny jeans, and black ankle boots that have little heels on them. They curl my hair and put darker makeup on me.

Once I'm done, I run up the stairs. They tell me the scene we're doing and I go to the set part that I'm supposed to, while Bailee and Mackenzie are off doing their own scenes. Finn isn't called until tomorrow, since he only has a few scenes.

This scene is where Emma is scolding me for being suspended from school, again. I'm supposed to act like I don't care, but Emma's acting is so good that I actually feel like she's mad at me and yelling. We have to redo that scene, like, ten times before we finally get it the way they want it.

"Okay, everyone! You guys can have a lunch break. Be back here by three," Jeffrey says.

I walk over and grab my phone. As I'm about to text Anna, Emma comes over to me. 

"Hey. Mackenzie, Bailee, and I are going out to eat. Want to come?" She asks.

"Sure. Can Anna come?" I question. 

"Of course she can!" Emma smiles. "Just tell her to meet us there, because the car is already here to get us."

"Where are we going?"

"The Dearborn. It's right around the corner from here. It's a salad place," Mackenzie joins the conversation.

"Okay, just let call Anna. I'll meet you guys at the car," I tell them.

I pull up Anna's contact and hit 'call'.

"Hey, babe. How's set going?" Anna answers.

"It's great! We're on a lunch break and we're going to this place called Dearborn. It's a salad place. Want to go?" I ask her.

"Sure. I'll meet you guys there," she says. 

"Okay."

I hang up and run to the car, hopping in next to Bailee. We all jam out to Katy Perry songs all the way to the restaurant.

When we get there, our security guards let us out of the car and we go into the restaurant, where Anna already has a table saved for us.

"You got here quickly," I say as I sit down next to Anna, with Mackenzie on my left.

"No. You just took forever," Anna argues, which makes us chuckle.

We all order our salads and we talk for a while, mostly about the movie. 

"Mia, you're really selling this role," Bailee compliments. "You're amazing at acting badass."

"Why thank you." I dramatically flip my hair.

"And I love the outfits that they put you in," Mackenzie adds.

"Yeah, me too. I wish they were mine," I laugh. 

We finish up our food and head back outside. 

"Bye, babe. I'll pick have the car pick you up at five." Anna kisses me on the forehead before walking back to the hotel.

We drive back to set, where we have to go back to hair and makeup. We're only doing two more scenes today, then we're done.

For the next two scenes, they put me in another black crop top, ripped short shorts, and really high heels. Thankfully, I'm really good at walking in heels. They put some bracelets on my wrist and they curl my hair. They put heavy makeup on me; foundation, winged eyeliner, mascara, blush, red lipstick, and red eyeshadow.

The scene I have to do is supposed to take place at a school, so Mackenzie and I hop onto a golf cart, to take us to the school, along with another golf cart that has all of the camera people to film.

When we get to the school, we go to our places to start. The scene is Mackenzie and I sitting at a table outside, eating lunch. 

In the scene, Zoey and Raelynn are just talking, then Zoey tries to give Raelynn advice. The scene ends in an argument between Zoey and Raelynn and then Raelynn storms off and it's the end of the scene. It takes us seven times to get through the scene without laughing or messing up a line.

At five, I see the car that is driving Anna and I around pull into the parking lot. I get into the car and let the security guards take me back to the hotel. 

"Hey, babe. How was the first day on set?" Anna asks me. 

"Tiring." I rub my eyes. 

"Aw, is little Mia tired?" She teases in her baby voice. 

"Shut up." 

"Aw!" Anna runs up and pulls me to the bed, smothering me in hugs. 

"Stop it!" I groan.

She tickles me, making me laugh hysterically. By the time she's done harassing me, I instantly fall asleep.
