MIA'S POV

I wake up in Anna's arms the next morning. I smile up at her, just laying there for a while. This is my new life. I can tell that I'm going to love living here. I mean, I already love Anna so much.

Anna starts to squirm, so I look back down. I feel her hands start to stroke my hair, so I look back up.

"Good morning, sunshine," she smiles at me.

"Morning," I smile back.

"Why don't you shower and we'll go to the mall, to get you new clothes. Then, we'll go to Room & Board for your room décor and we'll decorate your room when we get back," Anna offers.

I just nod and get out of bed. I walk to my room and grab a t-shirt and leggings, then take a quick shower. I notice some of my wounds starting to fade.

I get out of the shower and brush my hair. I never learned how to do anything with my hair, other than brush it.

"Want me to do your hair?" I hear Anna ask. I look back and see her looking at me as I play with my hair.

I nod and hand her my brush. She pulls my hair back and puts it into two French braids, teaching me how to do it as she does.

"Grab your sunglasses and we'll go," Anna says, leaving the room.

I grab the sunglasses that Anna gave me when we were on the plane and I head downstairs with my phone in hand.

"What kind of phone is that?" Anna asks, taking the phone from my hand.

"I don't know," I shrug. "I was never allowed to have a phone, but I hid it from them."

"We can get you a new phone today too," Anna offers.

I perk up, then we walk out of the house. We get into Anna's car and she turns on the radio, and I hear Hailee Steinfeld come on.

"I love Hailee Steinfeld," I tell her.

"Me too," she laughs.

"You actually know her though," I chuckle. "I would do anything to meet her."

"I can make that happen, you know," Anna tells me.

"Seriously?!" I exclaim.

"Definitely," Anna smiles.

We arrive at the mall and we walk inside. We go to the Apple store first and Anna gets me an iPhone 8! She also gets me a laptop for my school. Then, we go to Forever 21, PacSun, Journeys, H&M, Rue 21, PINK, the Nike store, and some more. 

We walk out of the mall with a bunch of shopping bags. 

"Now, we'll go get some room décor for you," Anna says, starting the car.

After we get all of the room décor, we go back home and drag everything up the stairs, to my room and start decorating. 

We paint the walls a light pink, then put the white and pink bedspread on the bed, put the glittery rose gold and pink pillows on the bed. Then, I put the pictures and posters on the walls. I put my plaques with inspirational quotes on the nightstands and some on the dresser. I then organize my closet with shoes on the shelves and clothes hung up, with my pants in my dresser.

When we finish putting everything up, we look around the room.

"Do you like it?" Anna asks.

"I love it," I smile, hugging her.

Suddenly, I hear the doorbell ring from downstairs. 

"Were we expecting anyone?" I ask her.

She just smirks before we both go down the stairs. Anna opens the door and Anna Camp, Brittany Snow, Skylar Astin, and Hailee Steinfeld walk through the door.

"Oh my God," I smile when I see them.

"Oh my God, Anna..." Anna Camp points to me. "Is this her?"

Anna nods. "It sure is."

They all walk toward me and smile. 

"Hi, Mia. It's great to finally meet you," Skylar smiles at me. "I'm Skylar."

"I'm Brittany."

"I'm Anna, but you can call me Camp so it doesn't get confusing between your mom and I," Camp laughs.

"I'm Hailee."

I hug all of them. "It's nice to meet you all too. I'm a huge fan."

"Aw, that's sweet," Brittany smiles.

"How do you like living with Anna so far?" Hailee asks me.

"It's like a dream come true," I smile at Anna, who puts her arm around me.

"Do you guys want to go out for dinner?" Anna asks. We all nod in agreement. "Okay. Just let Mia and I change. We're kind of covered in paint."

"Why are you covered in paint exactly?" Skylar laughs.

"We were decorating her room," Anna answers.

Anna and I run up the stairs and go to our rooms. I change into a tank top that says 'Self Love', some white ruffle shorts to match it, and my new Adidas. 

I walk downstairs, where everyone is waiting for me. We walk out and get into our cars. Everyone follows Anna and I to Bestia for pizza. 

We sit down and order our food and drinks. 

"So, Mia, tell us a little about yourself," Camp says to me, taking a bite of her pizza. 

"Well," I start, "I love to act and I like to sing a little too. I'm thirteen, and... that's really all there is to know."

They all laugh. 

"We can't wait to get to know you more," Skylar smiles.

"Do you think you'll do acting classes?" Brittany asks. "Or singing lessons?"

I look at Anna. "We haven't really talked about that," I tell them.

"Probably," Anna adds. 

When we finish eating, we all say goodbye to each other and go back to our houses. Anna and I sit on the couch.

"What do you want to watch?" Anna asks, holding the remote to the TV.

"I don't know," I shrug. "I was never really allowed to watch TV. Just put on whatever you want to."

Anna puts on a show named On My Block, so that's what we watch. All I remember is falling asleep with my head in her lap.
