Honghui

I stood there in shock. Why would Xiuying do such a thing? Lie to me just because she was jealous that I liked Mulan? I didn't realize that she still liked me that way.

"Hi Mulan," I said with a weak smile.

"Chen, what are you doing here?" she asks. Her voice sounded cold. She's been acting like that for a while. I guess it was the threat that Xiuying FAILED to mention.

"Mulan, my name is Honghui, and I came here to ask you if you actually threatened Xiuying..." I respond.

"Well, since you've been standing here, you know that I didn't threaten her," Mulan says, voice softening a bit.

"Of course you didn't! I was skeptical when she told me. I know you would do no such thing!" I said.

"Look, Honghui, I need to tell you something," Mulan looks down at the floor. She looked so cute when she was embarrassed.

"Sure! What do you want to talk about?" I ask.

"Let's go into my tent."

Mulan

Once we got into the tent, I started to ramble. "Look, Honghui," I start, "I really like you, A LOT, and so does Xiuying. She's really pretty, and she's your childhood best friend, and your former match. There's a very slim chance that you would like me back. I'm not even sure if I'm doing it right, I've only ever liked y-"

I stopped when Honghui lifted my chin with his finger. My breath hitched. His eyes were so gorgeous. He was so handsome as well, His fingers were so soft. And so were his lips...

My eyes flickered his lips, and he smirked. Suddenly, his lips were on mine. I stood there in shock for a bit, before melting into the kiss. His lips felt so soft. I put my arms around his neck and kissed back. I was in a daze. My heart was beating as fast as it possibly could. Our lips crashed together as we kissed passionately.

We pulled away for air. Honghui took me into his arms.

"Mulan, I think- no, I KNOW- that I really like you. May I please court you?"I looked at him, smiled the biggest smile ever, pecked him on the cheek and said:

"Why not? You are the love of a legend."
