Luffy spat out blood as Crocodile pierced the boy's chest with his golden hook. "Yuba will die. This sandstorm should finish it off once and for all. And its destruction will only further fuel the rebels' rage. Such cliched empathy and pity for your fellow man are what will destroy this kingdom...." Crocodile said and pushed his hook further in "The same applies to you as well Straw-Hat Luffy. If you'd only thrown your worthless friendship away, you'd have lived to see another day!"

He smirked and threw Luffy on the quicksand which was slowly sinking down and walked away to leave him to meet his death. Luffy struggled to prevent himself from getting sucked in the sand with his injured body but there was only one thing in his mind... "MEATTTTTTT!!!!"

He was slowly starting to lose all of his strength and was exhausted. But right when the sand was about to take over him completely, a few hands emerged from below and saved him. Luffy groaned and took in deep breaths as he looked at his savior with half lid eyes. "Th... Thanks..."

The female dressed in white looked at him and began to ask her question "Why?... Tell me. Those who carry the name of "D"... Why do you fight?" But before she could get her answer. A gust of wind suddenly showed up. The female looked up at the dark clouds in the sky... A relatively uncommon phenomenon to occur in Alabasta. The sound of thunder echoed and a huge bolt of lightning strikes beside Luffy revealing a female glaring at the person who saved Luffy.

"Looks like... It's time for me to go" She said left the area, leaving Luffy and Y/N alone. Y/N looked at Luffy with an unamused face. "What did you get from fighting for Vivi?" She asked him while slowly kneeling down. Luffy looked at her from the corner of his eye and gave her a shaky smile "Sh- She is... My friend."

"And you plan on dying here? This is what happens when you involve yourself with others' matters. You won't become the king of pirates if you die here.

Luffy slowly raised his hand and held Y/N's while looking at her with desperate eyes "I'll defeat Crocodile no matter what!! And... And..."

Y/N titled her head and questioned, "And?"

"GIVE ME MEAT!!!"

The fight between the royal army and the rebels didn't stop no matter what Vivi did. The baroque work members had infiltrated both sides and were creating sparks of hatred among everyone. Vivi screamed at top of her lungs to stop the fight but her efforts were useless. People were killing each other, a sandstorm had hit the capital and everything was just frustrating and way out of control for the princess.

She looked at Crocodile, who was enjoying the chaos he had caused in the country. "The dust clouds... They're your doing." Vivi said and Crocodile passed her a smirk. "But as long as I stop the explosion 15 minutes from now, I CAN STILL SAVE LIVES!!"

The warlord was pissed by Vivi's words. He walked over to her and grabbed her neck and lifted her above the ground "I can stop the rebellion if I do this... I can stop it if I do that... Open your eyes princess!! YOUR UNBEARABLE IDEALISM IS SICKENING!!" He mocked her.

"Ideals can only be brought to reality by people with ability..."

Tears emerged from her eyes. She might be weak, she might not have the ability to stop everything but her determination was strong. "What do I care if you find it unbearable!? I won't abandon my ideals no matter what!! Someone like you could never understand! I'm the princess of this country! I'll never give up on the likes of you!! I SWEAR I WILL SAVE THE COUNTRY!!"

The time was ticking away. The explosion would happen in the next 15 minutes and if the people fighting below didn't evacuate in time... Things would take a deadly turn. Crocodile gritted his teeth and brought Vivi to the edge. "You can not save this country!!" He laughed and dropped the princess off the building.

But right on time, the wind got colder and the sky started to turn dark. Crocodile looked at the sky and was shocked to see the sight in front of his eyes. "CROCODILE!!!" Luffy shouted while falling from the clouds above.

"How is he alive?!" Crocodile questioned himself.

"Luffy!!" Vivi called out.

Luffy landed in front of Crocodile and Vivi was saved Y/N. "Gosh, don't be such a crybaby if you wanna save the country," Y/N said and Vivi hugged her tightly. She cried onto her shoulders and vented out her feelings "You were right... I can't save my country. My voice won't reach them. And the square will be blown away in 15 minutes. I don't know what to do!!"

Y/N landed on the ground and held Vivi's shoulders, making her look directly in her eyes "VIVI!! You can't save the country if you lose hope after coming to this stage!! Your friends are here to help you!!" She said and stepped aside to reveal the straw hat members walking up to them.

"Y/N!! I missed you so much~" Sanji spoke up and danced around her which made the female giggle "I missed you too Sanji"

"You did?!"

"Yes!!"

"Ah!! Vivi, my love! I can't believe how horribly injured you are!"

While the crew regrouped, Luffy challenged Crocodile to the fight once again and this time, he swore not to lose.

"GUYS! I AM SORRY, I LOST TO HIM ONCE. BUT I WON'T LOSE AGAIN!!" He shouted and punched Crocodile across the floor.

"Just end him already Luffy..." Y/N mumbled as she recalled her conversation with Luffy from a while back.

"Luffy slow down. The food isn't going anywhere." Y/N said as she looked at the boy eating the food at a fast pace. "I can't slow down Y/N. I need to beat Crocodile before it's too late. Vivi and the others must be at the capital already. I can't lag behind."

Y/N rested her elbows on the table and drank the drink she ordered. "How do you plan on beating Crocodile? You don't have hak-" She stopped. She was aware of the fact that Luffy doesn't have haki and he must've not even heard about it, so mentioning an unknown term to him right now would bring trouble because knowing Luffy, he would get curious.

"whaf- whaf wueew yo saying? (What- What were you saying?)" He asked with his mouth full of food.

"I was asking about your strategy of fighting with Crocodile. You can't attack him because of his devil fruit."

"Water will work against him." He said which surprised Y/N. She didn't expect him to actually find out Crocodile's weakness. "I can just carry a barrel with me and then have my hand wet while attacking him!!"

Y/N nodded her head in agreement but there were flaws in Luffy's plan. "What if the barrel breaks? You won't have water then and Crocodile will gain the upperhand. You'll lose. If you want... I can defeat him-"

"NO!!!! I AM THE ONE WHO IS GOING TO BEAT HIS ASS!!"

"DONT SHOUT!!"

"Ok."

"Good. Alright so, you need a better plan than that. I also heard that Crocodile has the ability to suck moisture out of your body. You can't let him touch you."

"Yeah... He did that to me."

"How did you recover then?" She asked.

"I drank some water!"

Y/N hummed and leaned back on the chair "I see, so you'll need more water in case he uses that attack again."

"Then I'll carry two barrels with me! And if you think that's still not enough then I'll carry three!!"

"Luffy... You can't carry so many barrels with you. You won't be able to fight him in that case. I have a plan...

"What is it?"

"I have an ability but I don't use it often because of two reasons. One, it's useless. Two, it puts a lot of strain on my body. It's more like... An ability that comes with a drawback."

"Oouu!! What does it do?" Luffy asked with excitement.

"I can fix a small cloud on a person which we rain on them till the make the cloud disappear. So if I fix a cloud on Crocodile, you'll be able to attack him no matter what! The cloud will always follow him."

"That's so cool!!!!"

There's nothing cool about it...

"And what is the drawback?"

"Nothing... It just makes me tired but I can handle it." She smiled.

"ALRIGHT THEN!! TIME TO BEAT HIS ASS!!"

Y/N was quite happy to see Luffy's determination to help Vivi so she couldn't bring herself to tell the whole truth about her ability. It doesn't just make her tired... It starts to backfire on Y/N herself by striking her with lighting occasionally. The cloud that she makes thinks of the person it is fixated with as its master. And since Y/N has the ability to create and destroy the cloud at will, it takes Y/N as the enemy and thus strikes lightning on her. One or two lighting strikes won't kill Y/N because the voltage is really low but will surely injure her as the time passes.

"Find the one shooting the bomb?! But how?!" Usopp asked with confusion. "There's no time to think! The bomb's gonna go off in just 10 minutes right?"

"But if this bomb has a blast radius of 5km, then the shooter might be aiming from a place at least 2.5km away!" Usopp theorized.

"No! Or at least... I don't think so... The shooter is most likely... Very close to the palace square." Vivi stated.

"But why?! He'd only get caught up in the explosion."

"That's... just the kind of person Crocodile is." Nami said.

Y/N had her arms crossed against her chest as she looked up at the place where Luffy was fighting Crocodile, while the other members discussed their next move and that was when Y/N noticed something.

"Vivi watch out!!" She said and turned towards her. Y/N's call was 20 seconds earlier than the attacker's move. Sanji and Zoro took Y/N's call in consideration and quickly took out the person trying to attack Vivi. But it was not just that one person who was after Vivi... A whole group of men with weapons showed up in front of the straw hats.

"Y/N... How could you tell what was going to happen?" Nami questioned but didn't gain a reply from Y/N.

"You guys to go ahead. Me, Sanji, and Zoro will stay here to defeat them!" Y/N said and everyone followed her words.

"Let's defeat them!" The three shouted in sync and started taking out the billions one by one without any difficulty and that was it. The lightning bolt came straight towards Y/N and strikes her, which made the female yelp out in pain but she still continued to fight because the pain was bearable.

"That should do it," Sanji said while kicking away the last man standing. "We should hurry, we need to find the bomb!" Zoro reminded and just as the three of them were about to go and look for the bomb another lightning bolt struck Y/N making her fall to her knees. "Wha- What was that just know?" Sanji asked as he looked at the female panting and coughing out blood.

"A lighting just struck her..." Zoro stated.

"I... I am fine. Look for the bomb!"

"But Y/N- what just happened? Why is lightning striking you when there are no thunder clouds?!" Sanji questioned as he helped Y/N get back on her feet. She grabbed Sanji's arm and pushed him away from him and there it was again... A third lightning bolt.

The two males couldn't but look at Y/N with a scared look on their faces. "I... I can handle this. Sav... Save the country!!"

"I ain't going anywhere before you tell me what's going on!" Zoro rebutted and sat on the ground. "Don't be a dumbass!! Find the bomb, we don't have time."

"Then you should hurry up and explain what's going on!!!" He shouted.

"Jus... Just think of it as my small contribution to help Vivi." She said and with another lightning, she collapsed on the ground.
