【A self-proclaimed crew member】

"Alright then! I am joining this crew!" An unfamiliar voice spoke up which sent shivers down the spine of everyone present on the ship who were heading towards their new journey. All the heads slowly turned to look at the intruder on their ship. "Who are you!!!" They shouted in sync making the person smile and lift their hood up. It was a female wearing a suit with a jacket on top. She looked rather professional when compared to other crew members.

Everyone had their guard up. Having dealt with a bunch of Baroque work agents, they couldn't trust anyone quickly. Afterall... They were treated well by the people on Whisky Peak and all of them ended up turning against them.

But the female's charms did manage to capture a certain crew member's heart. Her image was installed in his brain and there was no sense of threat. And that certain crew member was none other than the lovely cook of the ship, Sanji.

He quickly got on his knee and grabbed her hand "Are you perhaps here for me?" He asked in his sweet voice, trying to impress the female in front of him. "I have never seen a goddess like you."

She laughed and retreated her hand. "Allow me to introduce myself! I am Y/N and I hereby declare myself as one of your crew members."

"You are not the one who gets to decide that!!" Nami and Zoro shouted at the female making her flinch.

"Why does the name sound familiar?" Luffy questioned as he tilted his head and tried to recall. "Luffy!!" The female exclaimed with a huge smile. "Long time no see!!"

"Do I know you?" He asked which brought upon a thunderbolt on Y/N. Her smile disappeared and she sat in a corner, sulking over the fact that she was forgotten. "They said... make friends... I was forgotten... I hate Luffy... I hate myself..."

Her dramatic words and actions made Nami, Zoro, and Usopp smile awkwardly. "Isn't that a bit overdramatic...?" Usopp asked to which Nami and Zoro nodded their heads.

"Oh! I remember now!" Luffy said which uplifted Y/N's mood and she was back to normal. Her eyes brightened up as she looked at him. "You do?!"

"Yes!" Luffy replied with a wide smile.

The female let out a sigh of relief "I am glad you didn't forget about me. I would've been really disappointed if you did and would've left the crew. You would've lost a crew member you know."

"You are not a part of our crew!!" Nami and Zoro shouted at her again.

"What are you doing here?" Luffy asked. "Weren't you with Shanks when you visited Dawn Island?"

Y/N folded her arms against her chest and sat down trying to relax. "I left them a long time ago. I am no longer a member of red-hair pirates."

"You were a part of red-hair pirates?!" Everyone on the ship was surprised after knowing the fact that they had a former red-hair pirate on their ship but this surprise gave them a little fear. Everyone knew about the infamous and powerful pirate crew. They stiffened their muscles and Y/N noticed the discomfort among the crew members.

She sighed and looked at them with soft expressions in order to remove the tension from the air. "Guys no need to look at me in that way. I was just an apprentice on the ship, I left them years ago to start my own journey. I am not going to harm you or something."

"Then what are you doing on our ship?" Nami asked.

"Come on, don't be so cold towards me. A lot of things happened and now I want to join a pirate crew. To your surprise, I have been on this ship for a while now. Right from the moment you came into Grand Line, I have been observing all of you."

"That's literally stalking," Vivi commented but Y/N ignored it after passing a smile towards her.

"I set my mind on joining the first ship that enters Grand Line, but obviously I had to check if you guys were fit for me to join or not. So, observation was important." She explained.

"It's usually the crew who checks if the new member is fit for joining them or not. It's never the other way around." Nami stated.

"Nami... I am the type to always have the winning bets."

"Wait a minute... Nami never told you her name." Usopp pointed out which made everyone look at Y/N with a suspicious look. "How dumb can you be? I literally just said that I have been observing you for a long time. I obviously know your names. Nami, Sanji, Usopp, Zoro, Luffy, Vivi and a duck."

The duck was kind of offended by Y/N's words but there was nothing it could do about it. "Hmm so... Am I a part of your crew or not?"

"Well, you and Luffy know each other so that makes you a little less suspicious but the decision still depends on the captain," Zoro said. "Do you guys have something to eat?" Y/N asked as she completely ignored Zoro's words and walked towards the kitchen which led to Nami smacking Y/N's head with a tight fist and making her sit in front of them obediently.

"That should've put your mind in the right place," Nami said as she dusted her hands.

"You can be a part of our crew!" Luffy said with a wide smile on his face.

"That easily?!!?" Nami, Zoro, and Usopp shouted and Nami proceeded to hit Luffy too.

Now the two friends were both sitting beside each other with bumps on their heads. "Tell us one way you can be helpful to our crew. Everyone here has a role."

A smirk formed on Y/N's face "You guys are new to Grand Line right. Grand Line is a very dangerous place, and to your surprise, I have traveled most of it. So wherever this ship sails to, there is a 99% chance that I know what's going to come up. What more would you need than a safe journey across a dangerous ocean?"

"Y/N is so cool" Sanji mumbled as he did his little wavy dance. "I love her!!"

"You have traveled the Grand Line? That's amazing! We could avoid so many troubles if you tell us about our destination beforehand." Nami said.

"I know right?"

"Y/N you also have devil fruit powers right? Show me your powers!!" Luffy asked her as he recalled the old days.

Y/N put out her right hand and everyone's attention went towards it. Little sparks started to emerge from her fingers. "Woah! That's lightning!" Usopp exclaimed with excitement.

"Y/N! Y/N! Do something cooler than that or else I am not taking you in my crew."

"What? Luffy it can be dangerous if I use my powers without purpose. Your ship might sink."

"I don't care! Do it! Do it just like you did that day. I'll protect the ship."

Y/N sighed and stood up "You guys make sure to take care of the ship."

"What are you going to do?" Zoro asked.

"Call a thunderstorm!" She replied and flew up to the sky with the speed of light. The peaceful weather started to change, cold breezes were blowing as the sky turned black. Y/N was up in the sky with half her body turned into purple lightning. Her hands spread apart as the thunderstorm showed up with heavy rain and lightning. The ship struggled on the gigantic waves and the lightning fell upon them. Luffy enjoyed the adventurous climate while the rest of the crew struggled to prevent their ship from sinking.

Y/N feeling happy about the job she did, came back to the ship and Nami hit her, sending her flying across the Going Mary. "What did you do!!" She shouted at her. "But you guys were the ones who wanted to see my powers." Y/N sulked again. "It was Luffy! Not us! And if you knew that your powers would be so disastrous then why did you use them?"

The crew someone managed to get their ship out of the thunderstorm. "Y/N don't do that again! We almost died back there." Vivi said.

"What's the point in having a power like that when you can't stop it?" Usopp asked.

"Who said I couldn't stop it?" Y/N questioned and at this point, Nami was done with her. If she could then she would kick her into the ocean. Sanji held Nami's arms, stopping her from hurting Y/N once again while Y/N explained her powers.

"With just a click of my fingers, I can make the thunderstorm disappear. I can control natural lightning. I can turn myself into lightning, bring thunderstorms and even control the natural ones. It's an amazing power."

"You are so cool!!! You can join my crew without a doubt!"

The other members sighed in defeat to their captain while Y/N was really happy upon finally receiving a green signal.

"Alright then!! Let's head towards our next destination!! Little garden here we come!"
