Amora

1 week later

"Oh man! This wind is practically gonna knock me off my heels!" I groaned, brushing my hair away from my face.

William, Carrie and I continued to walk down the sidewalk, tightly holding onto each other too not completely fly away.

Soon we finally ended up at the Timmons and immediately we rushed up into the treehouse.

William helped pull me up with me quickly thanking him before turning around and picking back up my bag.

I looked around to see all the boys with Madeline, Theo and Penelope already inside filling up the room.

"Here let me get that" Theo walked over, taking the bag from me.

"Oh, thank you" I smiled, watching as he turned away and placed it down onto the floor.

"Oh my..I totally love your jacket!" I gasped, pointing at the jacket he had on.

"Really? Thanks, I got it from this like really cheap place" he shrugged, looking down at it.

"You've got too be kidding. I'm way obsessed with those varsity jackets!" I smiled, looking at it with awe.

"Well then, the next time I go I'll make sure to get you one?" He suggested, titling his head slightly.

I nodded with a smile before turning around, scanning the room and spotting Benny who sat, leaned back against the wall.

I walked over, seeing he was deep in his own thoughts and pecked his cheek, making him finally look up and instantly smile.

I smiled and took his hand before leaning back against the wall and looking back towards the group.

"God. It's so windy? My hair is way stuck to my lips now!" Carrie groaned, holding her mirror up as she peeled the hair strands off from her glossed lips.

"Alright who wants to play a game!" Kenny called out, holding up a familiar stack of cards.

Immediately I shot up from the floor."Ooo! Me!" I squealed, excitedly rushing over.

It was now about two hours later, the night grew later and later making the story squints was telling us even scarier.

We all sat on the floor looking up at squints with horror at the awful tale he was telling us.

"And then?" Ham asked, eager for squints to say what was next.

Squints looked over us with a smug smirk before shaking his head."No no I can't say, its too.. too much" he shook his head, looking down.

"What! You have too finish the story!" Carrie exclaimed, throwing her hands up in protest.

"Yeah yeah I didn't sit here just for that!" Yeah-yeah added, nodding his head in agreement.

Squints paused before slowly opening his mouth too speak when suddenly a banging noise was heard from the window.

Immediately we all let out screams and jumped up at the loud sudden noise.

"What was that?" Bertram exclaimed, widening his eyes at the loud noise.

"Squints you complete moron, you just brought that stupid story too life" Carrie shouted, shooting him an angered look.

"Oh move then. You can be first too die!" Squints shot back, placing her in front of him and hiding behind her.

Once Squints mentioned dying it completely erupted even more panicked screams from everyone.

I wrapped the blanket around me tighter, feeling myself grow more nervous, before slowly glancing over towards Benny.

Immediately my eyebrows scrunched up when seeing Penelope who scooted closer towards him, with Benny laughing at her horrified face.

Slowly I ripped my eyes away to see everyone continuing to hug each other as they let out terrified shrieks.

"Are you ok?" Theo asked, now sitting down next to me.

"Yeah, that stupid story is causing everyone too piss themselves!" I laughed, shaking my head.

"Guys it's ok! It was just a branch!" William called out, pulling out a branch from out the window.

"See? You guys are freaking out over nothing!" Carrie laughed, examining the branch in his hand.

"Don't act like you weren't just crying?" Ham shouted, pointing at her with a snicker.

She narrowed her eyes, sending him an annoyed look before smacking his arm, instantly making him shut up.

I cracked a small smile before looking back towards Theo who laughed at their little argument.

——

I stared up at the ceiling being completely frustrated that I couldn't sleep.

This hard floor never got easier too sleep on.

I huffed, turning over onto my side and closed my eyes, attempting to sleep again.

A few seconds later I let out a small groan and shot my eyes open once I couldn't find comfort.

I continued to adjust my positions, rubbing my eyes frustratedly when suddenly an arm wrapped over my waist, making me instantly freeze and jump back.

"Oh my god. Benny you scared the crap out of me!" I scolded, turning around to see him.

"Sorry, you move around a lot" he apologized, letting out a small laugh.

"Oh, sorry" I softly replied, turning over and laying flat on my back.

"Can't sleep?" He asked, curling his lips down into a soft frown.

I let out a sigh nodding my head as I continued to stare up at the ceiling.

Suddenly he turned me over making me look at him as he pulled me closer towards him, wrapping his arms around me tightly.

I cracked a small smile as I rolled my eyes, resting my head down with a light huff.

I let out a satisfied sigh closing my eyes."You know this would be our first time sleeping together?" I muttered softly.

"That's weird. Pops would be pissed" I continued, furrowing my eyebrows as I thought to myself.

Suddenly a clicking noise made me shoot my eyes open to see a bright light flashing.

"Carrie? What the hell!" I exclaimed, covering my eyes from the light.

She slowly lowered the camera cracking a very cheesed smile at us. "Sorry you guys just looked way adorable and I...whatever" she attempted to explain, shaking her head before laying back down.

I shook my head, letting my head rest back down and closing my eyes again.

I laid there for a moment before huffing."Benny. I'm not tired?" I whined, opening my eyes back up and looking up at him.

"Just..close your eyes ok?" He ordered, laughingly lightly.

"What! That'll do nothing I've been doing that for hours!" I frowned, shaking my head at his idea.

"Just do it" he insisted, making me roll my eyes and scoff.

I frowned before closing my eyes and resting my head back down, letting out a huff as I attempted to get comfortable.

"You smell nice" I muttered, slowly taking in a deep breath of the lightly cologne I now noticed.

"Oh my god. Stop talking, you have too sleep. It's already really late" he laughed, shaking his head lightly.

"God fine" I groaned, breathing out a light huff before finally closing my eyes again.

Slowly he began to rub small, soft circles before switching and lightly tracing his fingers up and down onto my back.

At first I thought it was completely pointless, but slowly my mind began to grow more and more blank with the random thoughts leaving.

"Wow, you're good" I mumbled, surprised at how it was so far working.

He let out soft laugh before shushing me again, making me let out a light huff and refrain from letting out a scoff.

I cracked a small smile keeping my eyes closed as he continued to softly rub and trace down my back soothingly.

Slowly my mind grew hazy with me letting out a soft sigh before finally falling asleep.
