Chapter 3 Revelation

The chapter is a long one, I am conflicted about changing Kiana's name since in the game she fought hard for that name. So I make a decision to just add a name in front of her name. This chapter is filled with original lore so it is just an explanation or review of the game's lore, I might be wrong here and there so comments are welcomed.

The dinner is tense since it looks like the calm before the storm

"Hey Einstein, tell the cook that his food is delicious"

"Ok Herrscher Kiana, will do, now will you explain yourself?" Einstein answered

"Ok, Ok, so where do I start?"

"Start by where you came from?" Tesla interjects

"I come from the future, I was walking alone in Kolosten when a voice started resounding inside my head and suddenly I woke up to the scene you two are fighting Benares" I point to Niggurath and Kira

"Stop lying, what do you mean time travel?" Tesla said

"It's true, it's fine if you don't believe me but I really do travel from the future and that's why I know some stuff that will occur, granted now that I mess with it so much, there will be no use in that knowledge."

"You said you travel to the past, what happens when you change it like what you did? what will happen to you?" Einstein asked "Since you change the past, the future where you're from is changing right?"

"Well the nature of this world is like a tree we call it the imaginary tree, every choice someone makes is like a new branch forming, it is similar to how a save game is behaving, the world autosaves every whatever unit of time is the smallest. When you want to load a save, you need massive amounts of energy to do that, but it is possible since my world's Otto did that."

"What? Grandpa did?"

"Yup, he did it to save Kallen, his childhood sweetheart 500 years ago who he thinks died unjustly. He sacrificed his body to be able to return the branch 500 years ago and 'Load' into the world and presumably saving Kallen, I'm not sure though since Otto is dead after the ordeal."

"Kallen, you mean Kallen Kaslana?" Siegfried asked

"Yup, the same Kallen Kaslana as your ancestor 500 years ago, the holy maid of Schicksal, the one that is falsely sentenced to death and at her death scene tried to save a little girl from a honkai beast that is rampaging around the execution ground and was stabbed and died. Otto thinks her death is unjust seeing that both of them hate the then Schicksal which is corrupt, thus Otto leads a rebellion and manages to win and become the Overseer to this day"

"So Otto is planning to save Kallen from the start?" Kira asked

"Well that is the reason AE is created, after all, we can't let him control the power of the first Herrscher" Tesla interjects

"Yup, and he is doing all the things he did, such as the experimentation of Sirin to achieve the goal do you remember seeing it in my memories?"

"Yes and I still won't forgive him, he experimented and tormented us for such a selfish goal" Sirin stands up and looks at me with a piercing gaze, honkai energy starts to materialize around Sirin

"Sirin calm down ok, I haven't finished my explanation"

"I'm still extremely mad but I'll listen to you" Sirin then sits down, but the anger is still present in her eyes, well learning that your suffering is to achieve such a selfish goal, I would be mad as well, especially what I personally have been through.

"Any way you said that Otto time traveled at the cost of his life, why are you not the same?" Cecilia ask

"As I said it is not time traveling, more so creating another branch, or loading a previous save and choosing a different option thus generating a new branch in the form of a different story, so from now on I will refer to it as loading a save ok? I personally don't know how I arrive here but one thing is for sure, it is the voice that resounds in my head, its power is the one that makes me return here."

"I guess that means you don't know how you arrive here, are you? Niggurath ask

I nodded

"Wait if you time-traveled, sorry, loading a save, then are you our daughter, Kiana you also called Siegfried and me dad and mom?" Cecilia suddenly asks as if the thought suddenly struck her, she thought that it is plausible since how similar she looks to the grown-up Kiana she sees in the dream.

"Well not quite, first I will say some of you guys fate in my world, during the second eruption Niggurath, you are killed by using too much of honkai energy when fighting Benares like the time I have just arrive in this world, Kira I don't know about your fate but you probably died as well since you fight alongside Niggurath and also got corrupted by the abyss flower and have gone missing after that"

"I see, I was preparing to do that before you came in and talk to Benares" Niggurath adds

"I am corrupted by the abyss flower at that time and couldn't fight effectively, if Niggurath died then it is safe to assume I also died as well." Kira said as she stares at her arm.

"Wait, when are you corrupted by the abyss flower?" Cecilia looks at her with worry, she is a member of her squad, you can say she is her family.

"When we tried to deliver the abyss flower and shamash to you guys" Kira

"At that time you didn't mention any corruption though?" Theresa chimed in

"Well I was hiding it, there is a more pressing issue at the time"

"Kira, next time don't do that again ok? promise us to tell us if you have corruption." Cecilia looks at Kira with worry

"Ok, I promise"

"Anyways continuing, I am sure you have seen it in my memories Benares, you died after fighting to the last of your breath for Sirin, you should be proud of your loyalty"

"I will princess"

"How many times do I have to tell you, I am not her daughter, speaking of which Mom, you died hugging Sirin as you watch the Honkai Fusion missile that Otto launch exploding"

Someone slams the desk hard

"What did you say? my wife died because of that bastard?" Siegfried yell with anger visible in his eyes

"Ziggy, calm down"

"But you died Cecilia, he must pay"

"Alright, he must pay of course but not right now, next is Kiana"

"What? aren't you, our daughter Kiana?" Cecilia ask

"Well as I said not quite, until just before I traveled here, I thought that Kiana died in the plane crash, but it appears to be wrong and she was with me when we both defeated Otto. She also recognizes me as her twin sister even though I was never conceived in your womb mom."

"What? so you are not Kiana? then who are you? what do you mean not born from me when you look exactly like Kiana?" Cecilia ask

"Don't tell me you are a clone right?" Theresa said jokingly

I looked at her and nodded

"What? I was just joking, was it true?"

"Yes Aunt Teri, I am the 423rd clone of Kiana Kaslana, the only one that manage to gain consciousness, created by Otto to be a vessel of Sirin's core, the successor of the Herrscher of the Void, having both Kaslana and Schariac blood in me makes my honkai resistance very high. Otto needed the HOV's power to achieve his goal of reviving Kallen, but since Sirin went out of control and he needs to kill her, he needs another vessel that wouldn't 'break' easily. He then uses Kiana as a clone originator to achieve his goal of creating another vessel for HOV's power, thus I was born."

Silence filled the room after I finished explaining about my identity, some look shocked, others look sad, while the rest is in anger. I thought I finally have closure after Bianka tells me that she is Kiana, but I guess saying it out loud like this still uneased my heart.

"Mom Dad, I'm sorry but I am not your daughter but your daughter's clone, I'm sorry for being bo..."

A hug interrupted my speech, it is from the person I called mom

"Mom?"

"It's alright dear, even if you are not Kiana, you are still my daughter ok?" She said as she hugged me tight, for once I can finally feel the warmth of a mother's embrace, ever since I was dreaming that dream when I was manipulated by Otto's Fenghuang down before my other persona took over. A warmth that I yearned, finally experience. Drops of tears started to flow from my eyes and my vision is blurry, I hug and cry on her shoulder like a small child.

"It's Ok dear, mom got you" She stroked my hair while continuing to hug me, I wish to forever feel this warmth.

"Onee-chan, why are you crying? It's ok Onee-chan, I'm here for you" Kiana is said that as she pats my head which is buried in mom's shoulder

"Kiana" I hug her as well

"Uhm Herrscher Kiana, I also think of you as my daughter, even if you are a clone, you have our blood, and you fight for the beauty of your world like a Kaslana should so be proud of yourself young Kaslana." Dad said while he hugs us all "Come Sirin"

Sirin then walks to us and hug us too, creating a family hug-fest, how I wish to feel this way forever but someone needs to break the beautiful atmosphere.

"*cough, I really hate to break up this intense, heart-warming familial scene, but we have more question that needs answering, you can continue later" Tesla said breaking the atmosphere

We then went to our individual seat but now everybody's gazes are much warmer.

"So continuing on, at the time after mom died, you're recovering from the injuries dad, Otto took this opportunity to clone Kiana. For some reason, Kiana and you actually live together after that not knowing I exist. When you guys realized my existence, you infiltrate HQ with Kiana to save me. But when we escape, our plane crashed and Kiana went missing. You are depressed because of that and never treated me like your daughter which makes sense given the situation"

"Well, I must say that if Cecilia and Kiana are gone I would not regard you as my daughter"

"Ziggy" Cecilia said sternly at Siegfried

"But you said Kiana is still alive?" Siegfried ignored his wife's piercing gaze at him

"Yeah, it turns out she survived the crash and was rescued by Otto and given a new identity so that I can awaken as the only Kiana Kaslana thus setting the stage for the awakening of the Herrsher persona"

"Damn that bas...." Siegfried cursed

"Ziggy, what did I say about bad words?" Cecilia is smiling but her eyes is cold, it's like she is ready to kill.

"*cough that guy is such a bad guy" Siegfried corrects his word immediately

A/N: Bianka tells Kiana all her adventures after they both finished dinner in the prologue

"Well I agree with you dad, anyway she is given the name Bianka Ataegina and quickly become a prominent S-rank valkyrie, even I with the power of the honkai cannot defeat her. She inherited your lance mom, the abyss flower, and uses it with deadly efficiency. When she is 12, she is sent to a bubble universe, a sort of parallel universe, where for some reason she met you Kira who becomes an idol there just like what you dream about"

"Wait how come I am in that universe? and an Idol?" Kira says that cheerfully

"Well what I understand is that your soul enters the bubble universe after you died and thus your new life begins as an idol, a quite popular one at that, from the pictures I have seen from nee-san, if I were a man, I will want to ..."

"*cough" Cecilia cough and stare at me

"I will admire you, yes admire"

"I...I'll just leave it at admire thanks" Kira said as she looks confused about how to respond to that 'admire'.

"Anyways, long story short nee-san gets a sword named Durandal that has this power, at the end defeated the villain, oh! there is also your awesome sexy alien tentacle form, Kira."

"What?" Kira blushed as she heard that, sexy alien tentacle form? ugh so embarrassing.

"Awesome sexy alien tentacle form? are you sure about that?" Siegfried said with a shinning vigor in his eyes, maybe a little too much

"*cough *cough, Siegfried honey, let's talk about it later ok?" Cecilia literally becomes the devil, even the HOTE is no match against her cold stare. I am sorry Dad looks like someone needs to sleep on the couch or the floor even. F

"Cecilia, I was just joking right Herrsher Kiana?"

"You too Herrsher Kiana, I want to hear more details about that"

"I am sorry mom, please don't punish me, dad is the one who taught me about women, how to flirt, and his taste." I put on the best sad eyes I can and it looks like it is working.

"Oh ho, this is news to me right Siegfried, teaching your daughter to pick up women, maybe just talking doesn't suffice, my fist is ready you know." Cecilia becomes even scarier, luckily I manage to deflect the bullet to dad now, I'm sorry dad, I just met you again but I will remember you and clean your grave every month. F

"*cough leaving Siegfried's questionable parental guidance aside, maybe we should think of a name for you, so that we don't confuse you with Kiana." Theresa said

"I...." I fought for my name, I fought for so long to finally be worthy of my name but at the same time I understand that Kiana is the original bearer of the name, thus every right to have it.

"I know you probably feel attached to the name but do realize that to us there is only one Kiana right?" Theresa said "I mean I am a clone of Kallen, but I have a different name."

"What Theresa-sama, you are also a clone?" Kira shocked to hear that

"Yeah that's why I can kinda understand what she is going through" Theresa said

"Ok, you can rename me" I said with a bit of reluctance, all my memories are tied to this name,  but I think it is time to move on, leave the past world behind and change this world's future.

"How about Camellia Kiana Kaslana?, from the flower Camile group which symbolizes wealth, moon, and perfection. Nickname is probably Liana?" Cecilia said with a smile

"Eh, but there is still Kiana's name"

"It's fine, let's make it a middle name, you can choose another name, but I think it is quite fitting for you, and we can both have flower names." Cecilia said with a smile

"Camellia is good mom"

"Congratulation on your new name." Theresa said with a thumbs up.

"Ok then, we should call you Liana then. So Liana, could you continue your explanation?" Cecilia said

"Yes mom, continuing on, the reason why you have the alien form is because of the sugars, and alien species whose homeworld got destroyed by the honkai, right sugar Niggurath?"

"Wha...what do you mean? I don't understand." Niggurath said as she look anywhere but me.

"If you don't want to say it then it's fine, I personally don't care, continuing on ..."

"Wait, an alien species? destroyed by the honkai?" Tesla asked

"Yup, there are civilizations out there and they also fought the honkai."

"Why can't we detect them?" Einstein asked

"I don't know, probably in a different dimension, anyway I don't know much about it so let's skip it, long story short, Bianka nee-san becomes the strongest valkyrie and is deployed to many regions to combat the honkai. Then, she met me and friends in Kolosten and finally defeat Otto."

"Wow, thank god that she didn't died" Siegfried said

"Ok, I think that should be enough about nee-san, anything else you want to ask?"

"You said something like your Herrscher persona, does that mean when you turn into a Herrscher, your personality change?" Tesla asked

"Herrscher cores contain memories and personas of the previous bearer, when it is inherited say like Welt or me, it transfer those memories to us. In my case it is a little bit more complicated. At the time of Sirin's death, Sirin has two regrets, One is to kill the entire human race who tormented her and her friends, the other is to feel the warmth of a family. These two desires created two distinct and conflicting personalities at the core. Since I was a clone, I don't have a soul I guess, thus when an empty body and a Herrscher core meets, it created consciousness. Due to there is two personalities, we both will fight for control of the body, I name myself Kiana that fought for all things beautiful in this world, and she named herself Sirin to fight and kill humanity, you can say I have a dual personality disorder I guess."

"Liana, I'm sorry" Sirin said in a quiet voice

"It's fine Sirin, it is not your fault ok? since you are different from my world Sirin, you are basically a different person to me, also because of your yearning for a family, I was born, you could say that I should be thankful to you instead, so don't beat yourself to much ok?"

"Ok" Sirin said in a slightly cheerful tone

"After the 3rd eruption where mei-senpai, a classmate and friend of mine becomes the third Herrscher, we were taken to St.Freya to study to become valkyries."

"Wait, St.Freya?" Cecilia and Theresa speak simultaneously

"Yup, it is you Aunt Teri who built it since mom has died"

"I see, so that means you are my student?" Theresa asked

"Yeah, and you take care of us really well along side Aunt Himeko, Himeko Murata, which is our teacher but you still couldn't release yourself from bitter melon juice addiction"

"Theresa, you know that drinking that often is not really good for your health right even if it is a fruit juice" Cecilia said in a discerning tone

"But Cecilia, the taste is so good, if I can't drink it everyday, I might die ok?" Theresa quickly tries to justify herself

"Theresa-sama, I think I saw you in a new light now" Kira said while trying not to laugh

"Shut up Kira, I am an adult, I can drink anything I want." Theresa pouted

"An adult? are you sure about that?" Siegfried said teasingly at Theresa

"Oath of Judah", in an instant the divine key materialized in Aunt Teri's hands

"Ok Theresa, calm down now."

"But Cecilia..."

"Aunt Teri, you can beat dad later. So, after the 4th Herrscher awakening, my honkai persona started to grow stronger and manage to take control of my body with the help of Otto using imitation of Fenghuang down to invoke my emotion by creating a dream of losing my family again" I stop to catch a breath "Well after that my mentor, Aunt Himeko sacrifice herself to administer a honkai neutralizing serum to me rather than killing me outright, granting me the chance to live on"

"Liana, you can stop if you don't feel like it, you know" Cecilia said with worry since she can hear from my voice that losing my mentor is a big hit to me. I really don't want to ruin the happy mood just now but I guess I am still sad about it.

"I will continue, I'm fine mom"

"Ok, if you say so dear" Cecilia still has a worried look on her face

"After that, I went missing trying to run away from my friends that I meet in St.Freya and you Aunt Teri, I couldn't face you knowing that I killed someone dear to us all, at that point I'm going rogue and started hunting honkai beast so that my mind is busy, but at some point the guilt becomes almost to hard to bear and I tried to kill myself"

All people's faces on the meeting room frown, probably by the idea of me killing myself.

"Luckily, at that time Class Leader, Fu Hua, manage to talk to me, probably this is Fenghuang down's persona, and helped me control my honkai powers. I can finally use the Herrscher power without relinquishing my control over my body, I managed to save Arc city from a honkai bomb by carrying it above the stratosphere and detonating it high above in the air. The bomb is put there by Cocolia, a member of AE, which wanted to create an artificial honkai eruption."

All eyes then went to Tesla and Einstein

"Whoa, whoa, it's not us ok, Cocolia is a bit radical" Tesla defends herself

"Well AE at that time is split into two factions, you guys and Cocolia so it is not you guys who are responsible."

"Thanks for clarifying Liana" Einstein said

"When I detonated the bomb, I didn't exactly come out scotch free. I have huge honkai infection since I was near the bomb when it exploded, add that to having all the Herrscher cores in me, causes my body to degrade even though I have high honkai tolerance."

"..."

Everyone here knows how painful it is to have honkai infection, especially added to the fact that I still have another personality I need to constantly battle

"Long story short, I was in Nagazora trying to contain the honkai outbreak there while my body is degrading when Mei-senpai found me and manage to bring me to the Helios, an AE battleship. You both treat me Einstein and Tesla, but alas using modern technology all you can do is to delay the infection. I started to lose taste and become weaker, I don't really want to eat since all of it taste like sand. I tried to hide it from Mei-senpai, but for some reason she knows about it. She decided to joint the World Serpent, an organization that was led by Kevin Kaslana, his goal is to complete project STIGMA by exposing the entire human race to honkai energy, encouraging stigmata growth and honkai resistance but at the cost of 99.9% of humanity, basically an insane natural selection type of thing."

"What? that is super cruel" Theresa said

"I don't really know how Mei-senpai join, she do that to help me, in exchange for knowledge on the honkai, the previous era fighters, and to save me, she needs to join WS, we fought on the same school rooftops we studied before the third eruption where Mei-senpai defeated me and took the gem of conquest from me, and return to being the third Herrscher, Herrscher of Thunder. That lost core is actually a blessing to my body since now I hold one less core, my honkai infection healed and I manage to regain normal body function."

"I see, so she took back her core that is in your possesion?" Kira asked

"Yeah, the reason is that the gem of conquest is actually Sirin's gem that was given to Benares to gain a human form, after Benares is defeated, the core is somehow in the possesion of Cocolia. The third eruption is her doing, basically letting the core to pick a host inside the city and it choose Mei-senpai as the host"

"So Benares don't have a human form?" Niggurath asked

"As princess has said, I am given the gem from Queen and thus able to have a humanoid form and was granted the name Bella." Benares answered

"So Cocolia the gem to create Herrschers?" Tesla ask

"Yup, she is a bid of an odd character, she is cruel to everyone except her orphanage children which one of them, Bronya, is my classmate and friend, also the successor of Herrscher of Reason and the star of Eden divine key"

"So Welt retires?" Einstein ask

"His body never fully healed, thus he is seaching for a successor and he found Bronya and train her to control the power. She helped us break the Imitation of the Herrscher of Binding power used by Otto when we fought our final battle with him"

"..."

Nobody replied, everybody has a lot of thoughts in their head as they process all the information that I have given.

"Cocolia and Otto is a bad guy" Sirin said with a humph

I saw Aunt Teri's expression tightens

"Well they both act cruelly and don't care about others except for their families, so I sometimes really hate the fact that they can be a good guys but choose not to."

"I still will hate them no matter what you say" Sirin said

"Oh yeah, actually in Nagazora, before my battle with Mei-senpai, we found you Benares."

"Me?" Benares

"Wait, she is Bella, not Benares ok, I don't want to hear that again from you" Sirin said

"Ok, ok, yeah Bella, at that time you don't have sentience since the core is in my possession but you still follow and protect me since you saw Sirin in me before finally succumbing to your wounds and died. So again even after your 'death' as Bella, you still serve Sirin to the best of your abilities, so again, be proud of your loyalty."

"Bella....." Sirin said with a loving look towards the humanoid girl

"Thank you princess, I will be proud of it."

"How many times Bella, I am not her daughter."

"I'm sorry princess but the Queen ordered me to keep calling you princess since she is of higher standing, her orders take priorities."

"SIRIN!!!! come here you little brat, I am your elder, I should have priorities over you"

"bleeeh" Sirin stuck her tongue out

"You fu..."

"Liana, a girl shouldn't use that word you know, especially my daughter, it looks like Siegfried raised you poorly, I will fix that for you in the future ok" Cecilia interrupted our sibling fight.

"Mom, it's not my fault"

"As you say, you are older than her, so be more mature than her and let it go ok?" Cecilia preached me.

"Geh, Fine" At the corner of my eye, I found Sirin grinning. I will take revenge on you, you little brat.

"So what's next? Is it done?" Niggurath asked "It is so long already"

"Well after that we manage to defeat the Herrscher of Domination and I become the Herrscher of Flamescion when I manage to have the void, reason, sentience, and flame core. So I can use Welt's power, but not the extent he does since I didn't really familiarized myself with it, I am more able to use Void and Sentience core, since Void is mine and Sentience is Fu Hua's who taught me how to control the Herrscher powers."

"Whoa, so you combine 4 Herrschers' power?" Kira asked

"Yup, similar to how the Herrscher of Earth which is Owl from world serpent, and Herrscher of Ice which is Ana Schariac, mom's cousin maybe? become the Herrscher of Stars when they combine."

"Ana...." Cecilia

"Well I am getting to the end here, Otto stole the HOD's core to do some things I don't quite understand, but it is related to attaching worlds into the imaginary tree, after that succeeds, Otto then initiates the final battle with us and we manage to prevent him from reverting our world back 500 years, erasing everyone in our era except in Kolosten from existence. But it appears that is also part of the plan since after we defeated him, he congratulate us and his actual goal is to load a save to 500 years ago and rescue Kallen and create a new branch in the tree at the cost of his life and all the ones he sacrificed to that moment, including you mom and Sirin."

"Grandpa....when are you the good guy?" Theresa speaks in a quiet tone, feeling dejected that the person she loved as a family is actually a villain that caused many to suffer.

"Well after that you become the Overseer and then I don't know, I traveled here, I am kind of thankful to whoever sent me here, I am able to prevent my loved ones to die"

"Liana, you have done well my daughter, I'm proud of you." Siegfried said as he smiled at me

"Thanks dad, since my explanation is over, let's dismissed the meeting, you guys probably need time to process all of that."

"Ok, I'll go back to my room and rest then, you coming Kira?" Niggurath stands

"Yes" Kira answered as they both leave the meeting room.

"Ok I and Einstein need to discuss a few things, you guys should left first," Tesla and Einstein said.

"Ok. Kiana, Liana, Sirin, Bella, come to our room for a sec, we need some family talk, including fixing your upbringing." Cecilia stands up while carrying Kiana "you too Ziggy."

"Me? I am fine with my upbringing." Siegfried said before looking at his wife's cold eyes before saying "Ok, Ok I'll come"

I look at Sirin and signal her, she nodded

"Mom, me and Sirin have some errand to do, so excuse us"

I then grabbed Sirin and Bella and tried to teleport out the room but before we could enter, a lance suddenly stop close to my face.

"Liana, Sirin, Bella, what are you three doing, I'm sure that errand can wait, our family is more important right? or are you running away from a wonderful mom like me? If you still being naughty, I don't mind teaching you a lesson since I can heal you with the abyss flower" Cecilia still holds the abyss flower with a killing intent in her face, she is the devil I tell you, devil mom who can hit you until you're half dead and healed you instantly.

"No mom what are you talking about, of course family is more important"

"Yes mom, I also think that way" Sirin answered

"I will follow my queen" Bella said

"Ok then let's go" Cecilia stored her lance back and started humming while exiting the room

"Its dad's fault, Liana, if you helped me revenge on Dad I will call you nee-san" Sirin said

"deal"

"Kiana you too ok? " Sirin said to the little girl

"Ok, Dad is bad" Kiana answered

"""HEHEHEHE"""

Siegfried POV

*achoo

"Ziggy do you have a cold?" Cecilia asked

"No, maybe my admirer talking about me"

"Hooo, I never thought you would cheat on me you womanizer" Cecilia stared at me with extra cold eye

"No, no, I swear on all things beautiful that I will be loyal to you alone my angel and my wife."

"*giggles, you say some pretty sweet stuff, but I will still preach on you later"

Little did he know, his daughters has some grudges against him.
