Chapter 5πŸ–€πŸŽˆ

Beverly Marsh P.O.V

I changed into my nightgown, and went into the bathroom to brush my teeth. I shut the door, and squirted the toothpaste onto the toothbrush. I brushed my teeth, I took a sip of water to rinse the minty think paste away from my teeth. I spit it out, and wiped the excess tooth paste off my mouth with a wet rag. I put the rag in the laundry hamper, and proceeded to my bedroom. I turned the light off and slammed down on my bed, and put myself into a restless sleep.

Marie Cousins P.O.V

It was the same old sound this morning. Beeping from my alarm. I groaned and turned it off, and slowly but surely got out of my bed. I turned my light on, and changed into a blue t-shirt and a pair of jean shorts. I walked downstairs into the kitchen, and took some salad from the fridge to eat for breakfast. I put it into a bowl, and got some dressing and a fork. Once I finished eating, I got my lunch ready and gave my hair a quick brush, and packed my things. I swung my backpack and purse on, and headed out the door. Yelling a quick "bye." Before I left. I knocked on Eddie's door to see if he wanted to walk me to school again today. He looked through the window, saw it was me and opened the door, and stepped onto the porch.

"Bye Mom." Eddie called into the house.

"Bye Eddie." His mom called back.

"Ready?" I asked him

"Yup!" He replied.

We walked down the sidewalk, Eddie still keeping an eye out for Henry Bowers. We made small talk before reaching the school, but nothing to interesting I guess. We found Richie, Bill, and Stanley hanging out outside the school.

"Hi dudes." I said.

"H-Hi." Bill said.

Stanley stayed silent. Richie waved nervously.

Eddie checked his watch.

"Guys it's 8:45! We got to get to class!" Eddie exclaimed.

We all started running. Class starts at 8:50. I rushed to room 19, getting there in time, but just barley. I sat down in my seat, but Beverly wasn't there.
