chapter6: a howling flame

authors note: so the updates are going to be slow bc I have school and stuff

Lysander imadatly got summoned by sylva and she ordered him to grab the salamander 

"We gotta get out of here that dragon is five times as big as khans one" when fletcher said that the dragon went in a dive and started spitting fire Ignatius was just in time and caught the flames with his body protecting fletcher and sylva, Lysander took her chance and tried to bite the dragon's eyes but the dragon was to fast and turned his head to Lysander and spat flames in the griffins face the griffin howled in pain but still went on with his mission to kill the dragon by penetrating his eye but the dragon realized what he was doing and bit Lysander in his neck and killed him 

"LYSANDER NOOOOOO" screeched sylva in pain

"WE need to get out of here," said fletcher 

sylva was crying and probably not aware of the world around her so fletcher ordered Ignatius to come and pick them up and he ordered helvius to keep the dragon busy,  fletcher dragged sylva onto Ignatius and ordered him to fly away he infused helvius and shot a freeze spell to the dragon, the dragon nearly noticed and kept flying behind them it was slowly catching up to them little by a little bit fletcher got a flashback on the time khan had chased him with his ahool and he dived into the trees trying to shake off the dragon it was working slowly but surely they got away but suddenly the salamander made a loud high pitch noise that drew the attention of the dragon 

"sylva I need u now," said fletcher

"what do I need to do," said sylva with a small sob in between she was overcoming her pain for Lysander

"harnas that salamander" said fletcher

"ok," said sylva while fletcher gave her a summoner lether sylva started to harness the little demon while athena was holding it, after a bright flash of light she had the demon infused and laid down on Ignatius from exhaustion 

after one hour they had lost the dragon 

"l-Lysander is dead" said sylva

"he did what he needed to do for you," said fletcher

"he did the s-same as Sariel"

"yes he did"

later they tried sleeping on Ignatius whilst he was flying but there was not enough room so they tried sleeping while they were sitting

"you know we still need to catch a level nine demon right?" said sylva

"I still have a nanaue bound to a scroll," said fletcher

"that's nice"

"by the way let's keep 'us' a secret for now I don't want the public to know ill first ask Harold"

"ok" said sylva while she curled around him

a few hours later they saw the portal that Lucas was holding up

"so we back to the overworld," said sylva

"yes we are going to have some fun gifting all those demons" 

"yes," said sylva very distant

they stepped into the portal

"hey u are back," said Lucas

"yes how much time do we have?" said fletcher

"3 days" 

whel lets then go to sleep 

"I will talk to the king after the gifting of demons" whispered fletcher in sylva's ear

the chapter is short it but I needed to update it today so it's so short
