Chapter 9

You fix your gaze on the dress that has caught your attention. The color is purple that is so beautiful and elegant. You wonder as to how it will look in you.

"Have you found yours?" Mikasa asked, approaching you holding a black dress. "That dress." You said to her as you point the dress you had been staring.

She looks at it and was also impressed, "It's beautiful. You have excellent taste." You shrugged and returned your gaze to the dress.

"It's too beautiful for me; I guess I'll find another dress." You said which makes her pout and look at you. "No, I'm sure it'll look stunning on you, trust me."

She grabbed the dress from the shelf and handed it to you. You were hesitant at first, but it drew your attention and you wanted to have it.

You left the shop after paying for the dress. "The dresses are all beautiful; I'm having trouble deciding, but I finally got one." Sasha said as you all made your way to the food stall. You and Mikasa simply followed her to wherever stall she went to.

"It's great that midget asked you to be his date for tomorrow night's party." You nodded to Mikasa smiling at her. "I never thought that he would ask me, but it's good that I now have a date for tomorrow. It made me really happy."

After a time of loitering, you took a seat on the bleachers, exhausted, while Mikasa went with Sasha to the store to buy some pie.

You choose to stay and wait for them outside because it exhausts you. Sasha is exhausting to be with; she has a lot of energy and really eats a lot. You stay there as you sit watching people walk by.

"Y/N, it's good to see you here." You turn your head to see Hange walking towards you with stuffs in her hand. "Hange..." She sat down beside you and sipped on her drink.

"It's really wonderful here inside the wall Sina, all people here are dressed elegantly. Are you here to shop for a dress to wear for tomorrow's party?" She inquired.

You nodded in response to her, you then said, "Captain told me to dress well, so I did buy one since I don't have any dress in my closet."

"That is great; I was worried that Levi wouldn't ask you; I was bugging him about it, and I'm happy for you."

You furrowed your brows as you look at her. So that someone he meant is Hange. "I hated him for not treating you better, woman should be treated right and I'm glad he listens to me finally."

You just look at her as she talks to you, she is funny, energetic, beautiful and very kind, you can see now why Levi fell in love with her.

After awhile you saw Mikasa and Sasha exited the store and we're heading towards you. Hange stretches herself and took a stand, "I'm going now, see you at the party." She waved her hand goodbye as she walked away.

"Oh, she left already?" Sasha asked looking at Hange. "Yeah." You said as you stood up. "It's getting dark, let's go back." and you three walked back to the headquarters.

"It was very a fun day, I'll be returning soon; the food there is so good, especially the pie; I've never eaten anything like that before." Sasha happily commented as you three entered your room, as you finally arrived.

You slammed your body on your bed, saying, "Glad you enjoy," as you buried your face on your pillow. "I really am."

You ignore the both of them as they have their talk. You're pretty tired right now, and you wanted to sleep. Right after you close your eyes, you immediately fall asleep. Just by walking around it really makes you so tired.

The night of party finally comes, and you watched yourself on the mirror, surprised at your appearance, even Sasha and Mikasa were stunned looking at you.

"Wow, Y/N, you are so beautiful. It really looks great on you, wow!" Sasha commented as she looks at you from head to toe numerous times.

You just stare at yourself, never imagining that the dress will actually look good on you. You're glad that you trust Mikasa about it.

"At this time, that midget will really drool over you," Mikasa uttered, a smirk on her lips reflected in the mirror. It's creeping me out, Mikasa, stop it.

After fixing yourselves, you all now headed outside together. Eren and Connie were waiting outside for Mikasa and Sasha, and they all looked stunning in their tuxedos.

"Wow, beautiful ladies." Connie commented, his gaze falling on you three, his gaze stop at you and we're surprised. Really? They were all making the same reaction seeing me.

"Y/N, oh men! You're so gorgeous..." He playfully said to you, he even gasp staring at you, he then continued, "...I should've have asked you to be my date instead."

Eren immediately hit Connie on the shoulder, he then looked around fearfully and whispered, "What if Captain Levi heard it, then we were both doomed."

Connie swallowed thickly after hearing it and realizing what he had done, he now looked at you and apologized. "I didn't mean it Y/N, I swear."

You just laugh at their reaction; they really fear him so much. Well it's nothing to be feared about, he doesn't care at all.

You are now walking and you're wondering where Levi is. Did he change his mind being my date? what if he really did, you then suddenly felt sad.

There were a lot of carriages parked outside, as there should be since practically all of the scouts, if not all, will attend the party.

Levi appears in the distance, waiting for you outside the carriage. You took a deep breath before walking towards him.

You hear them cheering for you, but you just ignore them because you were so nervous walking towards him, and by looking at him from a distance he was looking so stunning.

"I-I'm sorry if I did made you wait." You then uttered as you finally reached him. You tuck your hair behind your ear feeling so shy.

He stares at you for a while, which makes you feel uncomfortable, and for the first time his stare is different than it normally is; you don't know what that means, but the truth is that he admires your beauty, seeing you in a lovely purple dress.

He cleared hi throat as he averts his gaze and opens the carriage door. Before you entered, he said to you hearing it for the first time, "The dress...looks beautiful on you."

It was only few words, but it really made your heart flutters. You've never felt anything like this before; you gladly look at him and say, "Y-you're very handsome tonight as well." Darn it, I did it, I said it.

There was an awkward silence within the carriage, and you could feel him casting eyes at you. You're aware of it, yet you continue to stare out the window as if you're not aware of his stares.

You are very happy tonight and you're hoping that it will continue. You're happy that finally Levi commented you, not a hateful comment but an admiring one.

After awhile of ride, you arrived at the venue, where there were a large number of people attending the celebration.

Since then, you've never been a party, and you're looking forward to it. You two went inside, holding Levi's arm as he offered. You were amazed looking around on how beautiful the place is.

A lot of people with very elegant dresses looking at you two, well you're with Levi, who is well'known.

You ignore the fact that they are staring at you, and instead wander your eyes about the place, unable to help yourself since you are simply awestruck.

"Is this your first time?" Levi asked at you in whispered. Even you couldn't hide your smile as you nodded to him.

You heard Levi chuckled at your expression; well you look like a child who has discovered a wonderful playground.

You two sat at the same table as Erwin, Hange, Moblit and a woman sitting near Erwin. You feel so low being with them, just looking at them they were like so expensive.

"Oh my God, Y/N, you're very beautiful." Hange remarked amusingly to you. You look at Moblit beside her and just realized it's her date. Erwin on the other hand, you have no idea who that girl is; you assume she's his date.

"Y/N, right? I'm Celine, and I'm glad to meet you." You reached out to shake her hand. you then replied, "I am also glad to meet you, Celine."

You wonder why she was staring at you differently, and you wonder if you met her somewhere.

You simply ignored her attention, once the event began, you wanted to enjoy the party, so you didn't mind.

You take a sip of the wine as you watch people dance on the floor to a beautiful melody. They appear to be very romantic dancing with their partner.

You even saw Mikasa and Eren dancing, you honestly looking forward on them. You want the two of them to end up together.

You watched Hange and Moblit walk towards the dance floor, and you sensed Levi's intense gaze on both of them, and you knew precisely how he felt.

As the music continue to play, someone came to Erwin and whispered something to him, so he excused himself for a moment, perhaps something essential, as Levi accompanied them.

You and Celine were left on the table, and you remained silent because you were feeling so uncomfortable with her. Your focus are on the people dancing.

Later, Celine broke it, saying, "Y/N, where did you buy that dress, it really looks so perfect?"

You awkwardly smile at her and replied, "I bought it somewhere inside the wall Sina, I'm sorry I forgot the name of the store."

You nervously laugh at her, but your smile fades quickly when you see her smirk maniacally, she then said,

"Do you think we'll never find you if you end up marrying Levi Ackerman?"
