Chapter 8

Chapter 8- JAMES POV

I follow Wormtail to the Shrieking Shack. I could hear Remus howling, and Padfoot trying to calm him down. I don't mean to be negative or anything, but there was no getting through to Moony after he had transformed.

"Why is he transformed?" I ask. Moony only turned into a werewolf on full moons! But here he was, in full wolf form.

"Something he must have come across in the woods last night. Maybe he accidentally ate something that made him transform today. We don't really know." Wormtail says.

Oh, thanks.

I go into stag mode and enter the Shack. Hopefully the scent of meat will bring Remus back to his senses. Otherwise, I was dead.

Remus was standing with his back to me, hunched over. He was breathing quite hard, his shoulders moving violently with each breath. He was obviously in a lot of pain.

But he stands up straight and turns around once he smells me. I have about two seconds to think before Remus lunges at me.

Lily's POV

I am officially worried. James has been gone for five hours. Along with Remus, Peter, and Sirius. What were they doing?

Peter looked like there was something immensely wrong...

No. That didn't happen. They're probably just dorking off in the commons, planning some giant prank or something. Yeah.

More hours passed. Not a peep from any of them. Hm...

I can't take it anymore. I'm going to find them.

I walk outside. Where would they be? The Shrieking Shack? Hopefully not...

Something told me that they were there. Of course, the scariest building on Hogwarts grounds had to be the one that they were in. It just made sense.

I battle against the branches trying to brutally murder me. Magic didn't work on it, so I had to use my physical strength. Admittedly I just dodged the limbs, but still.

I manage to press a knot in the trunk of the Whomping Willow, making it freeze. I slide down the little hole and am soon inside.

I gasp. What I saw was something that I will regretfully remember for many years.

*crickets*

*sobs*

I have no life.

Anyway, I decided to finish this chapter since it had been staring at me in draft form for far too long. (Several months, gosh dang it Hazel.)

How did you like the POV change? I decided to do that because there was no way I was going to be nice and continue James' chapter, yet it was riddikulously short so yeah. POV CHANGE!!!
