The Messages

It was PAX west and Jack was hanging out with Felix. Mark couldn't make it as he needed to work on a project with Ethan and Tyler. Jack had had a crush on Mark for a while now but he didn't know what to say to him. "So, you get nervous before we went on or you used it by now?" Felix asked, taking a sip from his drink. "Oh, I mean I wasn't TOO nervous but I don't wanna say I'm used to it..." Jack said, finishing off his sandwich. They had a conversation about the panel and then Jack got a notification on his phone.

Mark has added you to a chat

Jack picked up his phone and saw that Mark was typing. "Well I'm gonna go back to the hotel now, you need a lift?" Felix asked Jack. "Sure, thanks" Jack replied, getting up. They both walked to Felix's car and Jack started to chat with Mark.

 Mark: Hey! How was the panel?

Jack: It was good. So how are you, Ethan and Tyler getting on with your mysterious project?

Mark: Well, I thought it would turn out better but it just became a bunch of short jokes

Jack: I feel you ;)

Mark: What's with the winkey face?

Jack: Um, I just thought I'd put it there

Mark: No, I know you too well to know when you're lying. What's up with you lately?

Jack: I don't know what you mean

Mark: Well when we recorded our last video together, I had to edit out a lot of moments when you were just silent. It was weird and your voice changed when you spoke to me. Are you ok?

Jack: I'm sorry Mark, I was just tired that day and I just, I dunno, I got a weird feeling when we chatted that day

Mark: A weird feeling? Sean! Are you saying what I think you're saying?

Jack: Look, I need to tell you. I can't hide it anymore. Yes, I have a bit of a crush on you BUT please DONT tell anyone

Mark: OMFG!! I don't know what to say...

Jack: I'm sorry. I didn't want you to find out because I knew you didn't feel the same way. I'm just gonna go Mark. Bye

Mark: WAIT NO, I never said I didn't feel the same way ;)

Jack: Really?! Are you joking?

Mark: No, it's true. I just don't know what to do from now on. I mean we don't even live on the same fucking continent!

Jack: Well, we may not live on the same continent normally but we do right now :)

Felix pulled up in the hotel parking lot and tried to make conversation. "Erm Jack, hello? Earth to Jack" Felix said as Jack looked up from his phone trying to turn it off and shove it in his pocket. "Oh um, sorry" Jack muttered. "Why are you red? Is someone saying stuff to you?" Felix asked. "No, No I'm ok, I swear" Jack said, stumbling on his words. "Gimme that" Felix said as he grabbed Jack's phone off him. "Give it back Felix!" Jack screamed and tried to take it back. Felix just shoved him away and got out the car. He knew Jack's passcode so he entered it and it immediately brought up the chat with Mark. Jack got out and ran round to Felix and tried to shake his arm so he couldn't read it. "What is your problem? Stop being a little bitch" Felix said as he locked his car and began to walk towards the hotel.

"IT'S MY FUCKING PHONE!! GIVE IT HERE!" Jack shouted and it echoed through the night air. "Shut up! Why don't you want me to just check up on you?" Felix asked and pulled Jack away by his hair. "Fuck you!" Jack said with pain, stumbling trying to catch up with Felix. Felix walked through the doors of the hotel and that's when he read the message where Jack confessed to Mark. Jack caught up with Felix and grabbed his phone away. It was easy this time as Felix couldn't control his laughter and his grip was loose. Jack blushed and switched off the phone, putting it in his pocket. He pulled the neck of his jumper over his mouth and tried to hide his blushes. 

"Are you ok?" The woman behind the desk at the hotel asked. "Oh yes, I'm fine" Felix said, trying to stop laughing. He checked into the hotel and they walked up to their room. Felix opened the door and lay on the king-sized bed. "This one's mine" he said and began to fluff the pillows. Jack didn't want to talk so he sat on the single bed and dumped his stuff next to it. "Can I just get things STRAIGHT with you" Felix said causing him to go into another laughing fit. Jack walked into the toilet and brushed his teeth. "Don't you want some sort of snack before bed?" Felix asked. "Not hungry" Jack said with an a stern look on his face. Felix took the hint and kept quiet. They both got changed and fell asleep.
