the moment of truth

A weeks days later

When Tony woke up he felt bile rise in his throat. He rushed outta bed and into the bathroom, emptying his stomach from its contents. While throwing up he felt someone rub his back "you okay babe?". Tony rinses his mouth and smiles weakly "I think it's time to take that test" Steve smiled back "I think so too, I'll go get it".

Steve grabbed the test from the box and returned to the bathroom. He handed the test to Tony and closed the door to let Tony do his business. Five minutes later the test lay face down in Tony's hand "let's see if you're pregnant". They turn it over and Tony almost screams......... They did it. Tony was pregnant.

He dropped the test and wrapped his arms around Steve. "We did it Stevie, we're gonna have a baby" "I'm so happy" Tony burst into tears of happiness and cried into caps shirt. Steve rubbed his back and shushed him "we're gonna be a family" he said to himself "I'm gonna be a daddy".

After the crying fest, Steve and Tony sat cuddled up on the couch Tony fell asleep with a blanket around him. Bruce leaned over the back of the couch and whispered "so.... What did it say?". Steve smiled down at Tony and back up to Bruce "we're pregnant!" He exclaimed softly, Bruce quietly cheered and text the others.

Tony stirred and woke up, he groaned and rubbed his temples. "Do you have a headache Tony?"Tony pulled the blanket over his head and said very quietly "yes I have one". Steve whispered to Bruce "what's the safest pill for a pregnant... Being?" Bruce giggled a little at what Steve just said and whispered back "paracetamol, take two of them with a glass of water".

Steve nodded and eased himself away from Tony to get it. He came back a few moments later with two pills and a glass of water. Steve sat down, put Tony on his lap and poked him, Tony moved his head out of the blanket. "Take these love, they'll help the pain" he handed Tony the pills which he popped in his mouth one by one, drinking water after each. Tony places the glass on the coffee table "thank you babe" "you're welcome sweetheart".

The rest of the team came in and Thor yelled "what great news this is Tony!". Tony groaned and curled into a ball, rubbing his temples with his fingers "Thor you imbecile, stop shouting". Thor pouted and Loki slapped the back of his head, making him pout more "leave him alone Thor, he obviously has a headache" "I'm sorry Tony" Thor said, much quietly this time.

Tony just flipped him the bird and rolled off caps lap. Steve shrugged and got up. Clint tucked his hand under his chin "nine months from now, you're gonna have a little baby running around" "technically no, the baby won't be able to do that for a while". Natasha laughed "you're a bird brain Clint" Clint crossed his arms "mean" "awww, y'know i love you Clint, you guys want something to eat?". Everyone says yes apart from Tony, so Steve goes to ask him.

Steve kneels infront of the couch and nudges Tony. "What Stevie?"Tony asked quietly. Steve caressed his cheek and whispered "you need to get something to eat love". Tony borrowed further into the blanket "please love, you need to eat, for me" "but I'm not hungry baby" "you haven't eaten for ages, please eat something, even if it's just an apple". Tony mentally face palmed for giving in after caps concern. He gave a weak smile and got up "fine, but just some fruit or something" "there we go, making progress".

After all, Tony settled for some apple slices and some grapes. They all day at the table laughing and talking. Tony didn't eat much so cap basically fed him "c'mon Tony, finish the apple" "you finish the apple" "no Tony, you need to eat it". Tony narrowed his eyes at him and crossed his arms "cap, maybe you should just leave him be, you're gonna upset him" Natasha suggested. Steve sighed and went back to drinking his oj "i guess you're right, I'm sorry for pushing you around like that". Tony got up and hugged him from behind, his arms around Steve's shoulders "it's okay babe, I love you" and he kissed Steve's head.

Steve smiled and kissed Tony's hand, holding it within his own "I love you too dear". They kiss each other again and Clint makes a gagging noise. Loki rolls his eyes and slaps the back of Clint's head "do that again, I'm releasing hormonal, female Loki on you". Clint scoffs and make his hand go limp in front of him "pah-leaze girl". Everyone slowly backs away from Loki and Clint. Loki smirks as a green glimmer covers him and his black hair goes longer, turning everything completely female.

Clint gulps loudly, both of fear and, he can't deni it, lust. "You might wanna run, she may be in heals, but damn she can run fast"Thor warned and Clint sped off with Loki, or lora as he likes to be called when female, running after him. When both are out of sight, everyone burst into fits of laughter "oh my god, that was the highlight of my day" Bruce said, wiping the tears from his eyes. They kept laughing till they heard heals click down the hall. 'Lora' came back in and flicked her hair over her shoulder "he might need medical attention, also, I'm gonna stay in this form for a while, I like it". Thor smiles "I agree brother, or sister, you look amazing" 'Lora' scrunched up her nose "please don't say that Thor, it's sounds like you've a crush on me, *shudders* I don't even wanna think about it" "yeah, that didn't sound right, sorry lora" "that's alright brother, and thanks for actually calling me Lora this time".

They all sir on the couches, Tony cuddled up with Steve, lora leaning on Bruce who was mentally debating on whether to put his arm around her, tasha and Clint cuddling, and Thor sitting awkwardly with no one. "So where's Jane?" Tasha asked "lady Jane is away on business, she shall be back soon though" "that's good, lora, you okay?". Tasha looked over at Lora who had her arms wrapped around her stomach and her face contorted into pain. She nodded stiffly "yep, you know what this is, not good" tasha winced just looking at her "oh you poor thing, you need anything?, like... Y'know?" "Please, I might just have to kill my self right now" "okay, come with me, lemme help you up, otherwise you're gonna some bad cramps" "thank you tasha".

Tasha helped Lora up and they went to her room. "Wow, that sounded bad..........thank you for getting me pregnant Stevie" Tony said and kissed him. Steve giggled "you're welcome hun, I wouldn't want my boyfriend to be in pain now, would I" "hey guys?" Bruce said. They looked over at him "yeah Bruce?" "Imagine what it would be like if Lora got pregnant" "you can imagine my sister/brother getting pregnant?" Thor said, sounding surprised.

Everyone looked at Thor. Steve blinked "and you can't" "what?!, I only have one little sibling, right now a sister, and I just can't imagine her getting pregnant, no ones stupid enough to even touch her in that way or they'll have me to awnser to" "okay".

Tony yawned and got up, grabbing Steve's hand "c'mon Stevie, I'm tired" "Kay love, I'm coming".
