One Week Later

We went camping. 

"I know a great spot in the woods," Max, who was driving, said.

On the way there, Zane fell asleep, so I found a sharpie.

"Okay guys, we all get ten seconds to draw on Zane's face!" I say.

After we were done, Zane looked like his face fell in an oil puddle.

Once we got there, I woke Zane up.

"I have a cabin my dad gave me for my 18th birthday," Max said. "It's big enough for everyone."

We walked a little longer until Max stopped in a beautiful clearing.

"Wow," Everyone said in unison.

In the middle, there was an amazing shimmering lake. A large cabin was also in the clearing. It reminded me of the field in Twilight.

"It's incredible!" I say.

Once we had all gotten unpacked in the cabin, we made a fire and roasted marshmallows. Then, I went to my room, which I shared with Max and Asteria.

As I was falling asleep, I heard Max mutter something.
