Chapter 11: How Could You!?

(3rd Person View)

After that whole ordeal, Alexandra went to go find Rip, Ray and Sara while Leonard went after Mick, he was kinda worried because he knew his partner and knew how he behaved when things get chaotic, he doesn't think straight and that in a sense won't matter to Mick if he has a girlfriend or not or even if it is a one-time drunken thing.

Once Leonard was able to follow Mick into this giant empty building, he walked around to see people dancing, drinking, and doing...other things. He rolled his eyes and went to find Mick before he does anything he regrets. He looked to see Mick was standing on a table, obviously drunk off his mind screaming at the others and giving them new names.

Leonard rolled his eyes, "Your highness, can I get a moment of your time, please?" Leonard asked, Mick chuckled and hopped off the table "Ah, isn't the future great?" he asked, "We really should be getting back to Rip and Sara, I sent off Alex to head back to the ship" he said, Mick looked confused "Why?" he asked, "For one I'm not looking to put down roots here and for two after that little stunt you pulled, the kitty was going a little haywire, you do realize she's your girlfriend right?" Leonard tried to remind Mick of that,

Mick didn't seem bothered by that "What stunt? Plus, she and I never put a label to it so I don't belong to anyone. And why not? It's everything we've ever wanted. I got a gang that does everything I tell them to. I got a fur coat. I got a chalice. Speaking of" Mick said as one of his goons poured more alcohol into it. Leonard rolled his eyes "what about stopping Savage?" Leonard asked, "What about it? You're the one who said we're in this for the score remember? We could live like kings here. No cops, no heroes, just some fool in a green hoodie. It's Christmas every day. Ah my sweet" Mick stated as some chick came up to him and they both walked off together.

Leonard knew this was bad but he wasn't sure what he could do but he had to something...for Alex's sake. After a while Leonard hoped that Mick would come to his senses and made sure to keep an eye on him...however, the moment Leonard looked away Mick ran off with some chick in another room doing god knows what. The second Leonard turned back around; he was gone.

His eyes widen as he got up and searched for Mick in the crowd but couldn't find him. Leonard cursed under his breath and walked around calling his name. He heard laughing and giggling as he looked to see Mick and some random chick come out of the room looking sweaty and half dressed. His eyes widen and heart dropped to his stomach...Alex...

Leonard was furious as he walked up to Mick and slammed him against the wall "What the hell did you just do!" He shouted, "What? I'm not allowed to have a little fun?" He asked, "What about Alexandra?" He asked, Mick scoffed "What about her?" he asked, "She's your girlfriend who you just cheated on with some bimbo" Leonard huffed angrily, "She's not my girlfriend. We were never exclusive. It doesn't matter" Mick said shoving Leonard off of him, "You just wait until she hears about this, will it matter then?" Leonard asked and went to walk away but of course the party got crashed by Mini Deathstroke who ordered everyone to find and kill The new Green Arrow, Sara and Rip.

Leonard sighed, "Looks like your new minions are about to go on a citywide manhunt for Rip and Sara" He stated, "So what?" Mick asked, "They're gonna kill our friends" Leonard said, "Since when did they become our friends?" Mick asked, "I don't know you tell me, you and Raymond seemed to be pretty tight back in Russia" Leonard stated, "I've never been tight with anyone" Mick grumbled, "Mick, it's time to go!" Leonard shouted and walked away, "You're not the boss of me!" Mick shouted drawing his heat gun, "Actually, I am!" Leonard shouted drawing his cold gun while both stared at each other intensely.

Leonard remembered Alex and sighed a bit "Okay, let's both take a deep breath" Leonard said taking a deep breath, "And we'll make ourselves a deal. You help me get to Rip and Sara, once they're safe, we can have this conversation. Fair?" Leonard asked Mick who didn't like it at first but then powered down his heatgun and groaned before walking away...what the hell was he going to tell Alex?

(Alexandra's Pov)

After I managed to find my way back to the ship without dying, I was still furious and angry that my powers fucked up pretty much everything electrical that was nearby and that was including the ship. The moment I walked In, the lights flickered and started to shake "Woah, woah, woah!" Jax yelled at me, I looked at him "What the hell are you doing?" He asked, I breathed heavily feeling so much anger course through me "Hey, whatever is going on you need to tell me or tell someone because right now you're ruining the repairs I made to the ship" Jax told me.

I took a deep breath and unclenched my fists slowly stopping my powers from ruining everything. I sighed and felt the tears slowly build up but I tried so hard to blink them back "I think Mick cheated on me" I said, Jax's eyes widen "What? Why would he do that?" He asked, I scoffed and threw my arms up "Fuck if I know. It's this city and how Leonard told me he doesn't act right when it comes to chaos, he told me to come back here and that he'd find Mick before he does something stupid but I know Mick...I'm sure he already cheated on me" I whispered and hung my head low feeling my ears and tail droop.

Jax said nothing and pulled me into a hug "I'm sorry Alex. You don't deserve that, you deserve better than Mick Rory" he said, I sniffled and looked up at him "Thank you Jax" I whispered, he nodded and rubbed my head "I'm gonna shower and get some rest until the ship is all fixed" I stated, Jax nodded "I'll be here if you need anything" he said, I smiled and thanked him as I headed to the bathroom to take a long hot shower...I'm praying Mick didn't do anything stupid...he loves me right? Isn't he happy with me? Did I do something wrong?

After my long hot shower, I hopped out, wrapped a towel around myself and headed out of the bathroom, I saw Leonard walking out of Mick's room which made my eyes widen and heart race, "What happened?" I asked, Leonard sighed and pulled me to my room...which definitely wasn't a good feeling.

My heart raced faster and stomach churned anxiously "What happened Leo?" I asked, he frowned "I'm so sorry Alex" he said, I felt my heart shatter and the tears welled back up "S-sorry?" I stuttered, "I tried to knock some sense into him. He said that there was no label to your relationship that it didn't matter and I looked away for a second and the minute I looked back he was gone...when I went to find him I saw-" he paused,

The tears fell fast down my cheeks but I kept a straight and angry face, "S-Saw what?" I gritted with anger, "He came out of a room with some chick. They looked sweaty, her hair was messed up and they were half naked. Mick was drunk and that's no excuse but I'm so sorry" He said putting a hand on my shoulder which was a bad idea with the amounts of electricity coursing through my body.

I accidentally shocked Leonard which made him yelp in pain, "S-sorry" I whispered, Leonard shook his head and held onto his hurt hand "He's sleeping it off. For now just get some rest and we can talk to him in the morning, he's probably not gonna remember anything" He said, I nodded unable to say a word "I really am sorry" He said, I nodded as he walked out leaving me in my towel heartbroken.

I quickly changed and clenched my fists feeling and needing the urge to scream, "Gideon, please soundproof my room for a minute and if the lights start to break I'm so sorry" I explained, "It's quite alright Ms. Crystal' She said and sound proofed my room. I dropped to my knees and screamed as loud as I could making the waverider shake and lights flicker on and off but I just screamed and screamed and screamed until I felt better but how could I ever feel better knowing the one man I adored and told and gave everything to just cheated on me? How can I ever be okay again?
