Leo's pov:

When I first open my eyes, a stranger was sitting on the chair next to my bed, sleeping.

who was he?

Instead of normal person who would press the big,red emergency next to me and call the doctor I reached out and attempted to wake this unknown man up.

he must be absolutely drained, cause he's not showing signs of waking up even when I've been shouting in his ear loudly for I've no idea how long.

I slapped him

"JESUS!"

"Nope, I'm just Leondre, "

"Leo! You're up, let me call the-"

"Who are you? "

"What? I'm.. I'm Charlie, don't you remember me? "

"I'm afraid not and if I did I wouldn't have asked who are you, "

Charlie's pov:

Retrograde Amnesia.

He'll be fine, it's common with patients who hit their head, hard. In Leondre's case, he must have hit his head on the edge of the bathtub when he lost consciousness.

I couldn't wait any longer, I've been suppressing my feelings for so long now. What if Leondre will never remember what happened between us?

However there are some memories that will be permanently erased from his mind simply because the patient doesn't want to recall it. It's just like he sealed it away in a box and threw away the lock.

What if Leondre doesn't want to remember me? Remember us?

"Charlie! You left me so suddenly! "

"Leo attempted suicide, "

"Still, you could have waited for me! "

"Chloe! My best friend was leaving, if I waited any longer, he would have died! "

"So he's more important than me now?! "

"WHAT?! I don't think you get the point right now, my best friend almost died. I almost lost him, Chlo. Can we not talk about this right now? " I tried to end the conversation as nicely as possible even when I'm seething inside but to no avail.

"CHAR-"

"Miss, may I remind you that this is a hospital you're in? " a nurse reminded Chloe.

"Chloe, you're being unreasonable right now. "

"Me? Unreasonable? I think it's fair, I'm your girlfriend! "

"Well I don't remember dating a monster who can't get through her thick skull the fact that my best friend was dying! "

"You've changed, Chloe. I want the old you back, "

I walked away without saying a word.

I won't end things with herI can't bring myself to, when my life was a mess,she was there for me. Plus, I was binded by a contract.

"Hey... Charlie, " Leo said hesitantly.

I explained who I was and his condition while his mother made her way down.

Although I wanted to, I kept all the heavy stuff from him. Like how we had something. Or how we formed a band. Or how I was fake dating Chloe.

How I wish I could kiss him right here.

"what are you watching? " I peeked over his shoulder, curiously.

"Britain's got talent, the nurse clicked this particular performance for me. Said it was touching - wait isn't that me? And you and that boy looks way too similar ..."

"Leondre! How are you baby?! "

"I'm fine mum, awh don't cry mum"

"How can I not when my boy attempted to take his life? "

"I'm sorry, now I don't even know why I did that anymore and until I try to get my memories back, let's not speak about it, "

What if he found out that I broke his heart, that it was because of me he's here.

I've to help him get his memories back soon.

"Leo, I have to tell you something. Well lots of things actually.. "I looked at Victoria for assurance. Her nod gave me the go sign to continue.

"I'm not just your best friend, Leo"

"I'm your-""Boyfriend, I know. The nurse really liked to gossip"

"Never will I expect myself to find a boy, a handsome one nonetheless. "

I blushed, it's quite rare that Leo says whatever that is on his mind.

"Well yea, we were kind of complicated"

"You mean like friends with benefits? "

"Well somewhat, although you know how I felt, "

"But the main point is that I had a girlfriend, Chloe"

"Oh.." Leo looked down and said disappointedly.

"But.. We signed a contract that I had to date her or else the company will drop us, "

"And why was that necessary? " Leo said calmly, although he was angry deep down.

"Um.. Cause we were showing toomuchaffectioninpublic and the company are filled with homophobic f**ks?! "

"Well then why didn't you just let them drop us, we're fine without them anyways! "

"Cause you were so passionate about music, I couldn't stand seeing you hurt. "

"Charlie.., I want to get back those memories,the ones with you,"

"Why? After all the hurt I caused you? "

"Because.. I love you, I may not feel it now but I can try, so help me. Win me back"

"But.. I can't break up with Chloe, the contract.. "

"We'll find another company if we have to, Charlie- I can't lose you when I haven't even had you.. I have amnesia and I can feel the connection, "I didn't know what to say, so I showed him more videos of us found on YouTube, until he saw a recommended video of another "Chardre is real" kind of content but before I could stop him, he clicked on it.

"When you said PDA I didn't expect that much, we didn't even bother to hide it at all! "

"Yea that's why the contract was written, "

As I play another song from our newer album 'Generation Z' , ' I want you'; Leo starts to him along as I sang it under my breath.

"You know this song?! " I asked excitedly.

"I don't know, it just came to me automatically" Leo said, his eyes lighting up.

"You remembered something! " I jumped up and hugged him, I felt him flinching.

"I'm sorry, I was just-" I apologized, trying to explain.

"No, don't let go. Somehow, this feels right" he said pulling me back into an embrace.

---Leo's pov:

As days passed, I gained more and more memories. Tiny missing fragments pieced together in my head.

"I'm ready! " I said determinedly.

"Where we going? Ready for what? "

"For a...concert, "

"We shouldn't, you have just recovered from your.. Injuries. You have to rest for at least a week! " Charlie said firmly.

"Well, I don't need my hands to sing, do I? "

"Leoo.. I'm doing thi-"

"you are doing this for my own good, yeah yeah I know"

"What are you now, a mind reader? Knew I should have let you stay with those boring memories instead of helping remember the times spent with the amazing me" Charlie said teasingly.

"Oh please, you know you're nothing without me. And the idea of me forgetting you, wrecks you. " I teased back.

"Sad how that's true eh? Damn straight, i could never live with myself knowing there's someone by you who isn't me! "

"Oh shut up you possessive man, " i laughed, grabbing the back of Charlie's neck and pulling him into a kiss.

Charlie's pov:

How long has it been since we last kissed? How much I've missed him..

I pushed Leo down so he was lying on his back and crawled on top of him as I kissed him deeply.

He rested his left hand on my hip and tangled his right in my hair.

He pulled back, both of us panting, our foreheads against each other's.

I leaned down, connecting our lips together again.

"We should stop, we're still in the hospital, " the rational side of me said aloud.

while the other part of me cursed at me.

"Yeah, I know " Leo muttered between kisses, before pulling me down and deepening the kiss by licking my bottom lips but I sealed my lips together as he let's out a groan giving me a chance to slip my tongue in his hot cavern.

After a minute, I pulled back again. "I don't want to stop, " Leo whined. "Me, " "neither", I said in between breaths.

Slam!

"What are you doing, Charlie?! How can you-" Chloe shouted, finding us in our very compromising position.

"Chloe-"

"Me or him, Charlie! "

"What?! "

"You have to choose, by tomorrow! "

"Chloe! "

"At your comeback concert tomorrow,  you announce who. But remember, if you choose him, you know your career is over" Chloe threatened, strutting out.

"Well her reaction was not as bad as I thought it would be, I expected crying "

"Nah, she doesn't love me. She just loves the attention. "

"Charlie... No matter who you choose; you'll always have me. Be it Bars or Leo. "

"Leo-"

"It's okay, I can handle it, Charlie. Just.. Whatever makes you happy"
