Part Eight: Eir

09:31, 14 September 2013

Frigga walked over to you and Loki. She tenderly pressed two fingers on different places of his chest, feeling for any injuries.

“Is he okay?” You questioned her. He had been an ass earlier, but you still loved him and therefor were still concerned about him.

“It feels like he has a few fractured ribs, but he should be fine. His lungs are not punctured. He will heal,” Frigga assured you in a comforting, motherly manner.

You sighed in relief, closing your eyes.

“Will you help me lift him?” Frigga asked, grabbing Loki's legs. The God of Mischief had passed out by this point and needed to be carried.

“Yeah,” you replied. You took hold of Loki's upper-body, laying his head on your shoulder.

The two of you carried Loki to his room. When you got there, you found that it was locked with some form of magic.

“Let's carry him to my room,” you suggested.

Frigga looked like she didn't really like the idea of Loki being in your personal living space, but she listened to you.

Once inside your quarters, you and Frigga gently set Loki upon your bed. After he was laid down, Frigga left to call on Eir, the Goddess of Healing. She told you to relieve Loki of his upper-body clothing to allow him to breathe easier.

You looked down at Loki. He was pretty badly banged up. He had purple, black, and blue bruises coloring his skin and his body was covered in cuts. And even though you couldn't see them, you knew he also had broken bones.

Frigga came back into the room with Eir tailing her. Eir sat down on the bed and hovered her hands over Loki's body, sensing for his injuries and healing them to the best of her ability. His bruises changed to the ugly yellow-ish color bruises turn right before healing. His cuts healed up to become barely noticeable.

“I have healed his bones as well as I could. The fractures are almost completely healed, but he is going to need time to rest and get back his strength.” Eir looked up at you, her hip-length, red-blonde hair falling in front of her face. She pushed it out the way and asked you, “So, is it true?”

Frigga must have explained the situation to her. You hesitated, but eventually nodded. Eir smiled knowingly at what she had just learned. It appeared she quite liked drama and gossip. “Promise you won't tell anyone?” You suddenly doubted Eir's ability to keep secrets.

“You have my word,” Eir replied, putting her finger up to her lips. “So how was it?” Eir asked curiously, beaming.

“Eir!” Frigga scolded.

“Sorry, madam,” Eir apologized, standing up. She pointed to you and her lips cracked into a smile again. “You are going to have to tell me all about it later.” Eir danced out of the room, laughing as she went.

“Eir!” Frigga sighed. “I am sorry about her. Eir is... Well... She tends to get involved in other peoples' business. She is a wonderful girl though. I just hope she did not pry too much.”

“It's fine,” you told Frigga. “She seems very nice.”

Frigga smiled again and nodded. “Well, I guess I will leave Loki to get some rest. You probably could use a little sleep as well, darling. I am going to go look for Thor.”

“Okay.” You waved at Frigga as she strolled out of your room. After she was gone, you quietly pulled your door shut. You followed Frigga's advice and went into your bathroom to change into your pajamas. After you came back out, you carefully removed the rest of Loki's suffocating clothing, leaving him in only his boxers. You plopped down on the bed next to him and pulled the blankets up over both of you. You rolled over and pecked a kiss upon his forehead. Turning back on your side, you quickly got comfortable. Before you closed your eyes, you captured once more glimpse of Loki's face. Sleep took you not long after.

It seemed like you had only been asleep for a few minutes when someone knocked on your door. However, the clock had something else to say. It had been almost six hours. It was late in the evening now, but you managed to get yourself out of your bed.

When you opened up your door, Eir was standing there, her bright chocolate eyes gleaming.

“Hello...”

“Hi!” Eir replied, inviting herself in. “So, are you ready to spill?” She slumped down on the chair facing the bed.

“Uh.... I guess. Can you keep a secret?” you wondered. Eir really was a nice girl, but she seemed like the type unable to keep anything away from prying ears.

“Are you kidding me?” Eir responded, her face lighting up. “I have never told anyone anything that would compromise the person who'd told me! I promise on my honor.”

You looked at her uneasily. You didn't exactly want to tell her, but at the same time you wanted to tell someone. You couldn't exactly tell Thor all about it and there was no way you wanted to talk with Loki about the other night. You sighed.

“Look,” Eir started, “I will make you a deal. If you tell me about the roof, I promise to tell you a secret I have not ever told anyone. But you have to swear to keep it that way.”

You nodded. “Okay.”

Eir took a deep breath and begun. “When I was younger, I had the absolute biggest crush on Thor. I seriously thought I was going to grow up and marry him. Well, that never worked out, but there was one time....” Eir paused and got close to you to whisper in your ear, “We had a little ''fun''.”

You blushed at Eir's meaning, then suddenly felt enraged. “That bastard! Getting so upset over my relations when he was off sexing other women!”

“Try not to get too mad sweetie!” Eir tried to calm you. “It was a one time thing, and it was a long time ago. He was young and you were not even ten years old at that point. He saw you as little sister, not a lover.”

Eir soothing voice calmed you and you sat back down on the bed. “Just keep from telling him,” Eir reminded you. Eir looked so worried that you would let her secret slip you almost laughed.

“Don't worry. My lips are sealed.”

“So, are you ready to spill?” Eir asked you, curious as ever. “Obviously something happened.” Eir motioned to your neck. Right. The hickey Loki had given you. You had almost forgot about it. Almost. “So tell me,” Eir continued. “How was it?”

“It was...” You searched for the words. “It was amazing. I mean, I can't even really describe it, but it was pure ecstasy. It started out only as a kiss, but it definitely went from there. And he apparently ''marked'' me as his.” You pointed to the mark Loki had left on your neck. You remembered back though the night, trying to figure out how to explain everything to Eir. Sex was a lot more difficult to describe than you thought it would be.

“And?” Eir asked, wanting the whole story.

“And it felt better than anything else in the universe. It's indescribable really. Pure euphoria.”

“How big was it?” Eir suddenly inquired.

“Eir!” You covered your mouth, a pervy grin making its way up onto your face. “Really big...” You whispered though your fingers. “Like, it was massive.”

“Well, he is a giant...” Eir joked. Eir and you both laughed at the joke.

Eir grinned wildly and hid her mouth with both her hands.

“What is it?” You questioned.

Eir pointed behind you, keeping one hand over her lips.

You turned around slowly. Behind you on the bed was Loki smirking madly. You tried to speak some form of language, but not a word would pass your lips.

“So, I was that good, huh?” Loki teased, smiling slyly.

You opened your mouth, but found you weren't able to form any words. By this point, Eir was on the floor laughing and Loki was continuing to leer at you.

“If you enjoyed it that much, perhaps we are in need of an encore...” Loki looked into your eyes, still smirking. “And you can make all of my massive glory your own.”

“Loki!” you squeaked. Eir burst out in fresh laughter.

Loki tried to sit up, but grunted in pain.

“Are you okay?” You asked him with concern in your voice.

“I am fine,” he replied, laying back down. “What happened?”

“Thor happened. You really set him off.”

“I healed you up the best I could,” Eir told Loki.

“Eir...” Loki peeked around you, noticing the Goddess of Healing. “Oh, damn.”

“What?” You wondered.

“You and Eir have become friends."

“...And?”

Loki let out a breath. “That is not good.”

“Why?” You gave Loki a odd look, wondering what was so bad about you making a new friend.

“Do not fret Loki, I swear not to tell __________ all your little secrets.” Eir giggled, probably thinking about what she knew.

“I am not certain I trust you...” Loki said, eyeing Eir.

“Oh and you think you, the God of Lies, can be trusted?” Eir retorted, placing her hands on her hips.

“I never said I could be, darling. In fact, I remember warning you about that. I believe I said: 'I am the God of Mischief and Lies and I will not hesitate to act as such.'”

“Yes, and then you went on to break-”

“Eir!” Loki hissed. “I thought you said you would not spill out any of my personal secrets.”

“Well, it is not so much as a secret as your past.” Eir grinned malevolently.

“Cut it out you two!” You yelled, coming between Loki and Eir. “Look Eir, what Loki did in his past is his personal business. And Loki, stop being such an ass. Unless you want Eir to tell me all of your dark, dirty secrets.”

Eir nodded and Loki sighed unhappily.

“Now,” you continued. “I am tired and I'm going to bed, so keep it down. Understand?”

“Yes, goodnight.” Loki turned over onto his side, facing away from you.

You rolled your eyes at Loki's childish attitude and faced Eir. “Goodnight,” you said to her.

“Goodnight __________,” Eir replied, curling up in the chair.

You laid back down on the bed and pulled the covers up. You were asleep almost instantly.

Yes, Eir is rather immauture, but that's just who she is. Also little random fact: Eir was originally only going to heal Loki and leave the storyline, but I liked her so much I kept her in.
