Chapter 7

I lunged after the scent, and after about three hours of walking, I came upon train tracks. 

I looked around, and saw a sign. 

Where it said 'Those who arrive survive' was marked out, and it said 'No sanctuary'.

And then I heard the crunch of leaves, and I whipped around to see a colored man. 

He didn't notice me, so I stood still.

He looked around, before walking the way the group went.
