14. Crazy Things

~Evie's P.O.V.~

"Honey, Im gonna call Holly to take care of Jake" mom tells me "no its okay, Mom I cant take care of him" I tell her and she shakes her head. I roll my eyes and walk upstairs to my room.

Tick tick tickI walk to my window and open it, I look out and find Lucas. "What are you doing?" I say and he laughs, "is anyone home?" He asks and I nod. "My mom's about to leave but she's calling your mom to come take care of Jake, she doesnt trust me" I explain "why" he asks and I shrug.

"I can sneek you in through the back door" I tell him and he nods. I hurry downstairs and open the back door. He gets inside and I rush him upstairs into my room, "Evie!" My mom yells "get in my room and close the door I'll be there in a bit" I whisper to Lucas and he nods.

"Yes mom?" I ask going into the kitchen. "You only have to take care of Jake for like 5 minutes, he's only watching tv in his room. Holly will be here in a bit" mom tells me and rushes out the door.

I run upstairs into my room and find Lucas sitting on my bed pattiently. "Hey" I say, sitting on his lap, "hi" he smiles and kisses my neck.

"I thought you had a girlfriend" I say into his lips. "I did. But........I broke up with her..........for you" he smiles and I laugh. "Thats a good thing" I say and push him onto my soft matress, making him lay down.

"Honey, Im here" aunt Holly opens the door and finds me on top of Lucas. "Oh my god, sorry I didnt mean to. Wait! Lucas, how did you get here? Why are you with Evie? What happened with your girlfriend?" All her questions come tummbling down.

She hurries downstairs and Lucas and I follow her. "Aunt Holly! Im sorry" I say following her into the kitchen. "No I'm sorry, I'm the one that kissed her first" Lucas tells her.

"Lucas, Im disappointed in you, you have a girlfriend" "had" Lucas cuts her off before she can finish. "I broke up with her yesterday" he tells her "thats why she left crying, I supposed that you'd just fought but" she stops for a second, taking everything in "Lucas, Evie, you grew up like siblings" she tells us and we both look at eachother.

"When he kissed me, I guess we both quickly developed different feelings for eachother" I say even though Im not quite sure. She nods and looks at both us, seriously.

"It's okay, that you have feelings for eachother, Im fine with you being together but your mother, I have a feeling that she's the one that's going to have a problem with it" she tells us and I nod.

"I'll talk to her when she comes back" I say and aunt Holly smiles. "Now I know that anyone else would stop you but" she opens a cabinet and pulls out condoms "if you ever do, do anything please be safe" she tells us and I almost laugh.

She opens the small box, pulls out a strip of 5 condoms and hands them to Lucas and he puts them in his pocket. She puts the box back and closes the cabinet. "If you ever need more, they're right there, and don't ask, I found them while I was looking for plates" she smiles.

I start laughing, so I walk upstairs, into my room. A few minutes later, Lucas walks inside and sits on my bed, beside me.

"So? You wanna do it" Lucas laughs "shut up" I joke and kiss him while pushing him onto the bed to lay down. I take my shirt off and untie my pants, he slides them down and kisses me again.

He turns us over so that now Im on the bottom, he quickly takes his shirt off takes his pants off. He kisses me and I kiss him back. "Wait, lock the door" I tell him and he does as I say. He crawls back ontop of me and kisses me harder.

After we have sex we just lay on the bed, taking hanfuls of air to breath. "How was I?" Lucas asks after a breath, "you were great" I tell him and kiss him some more. "I love you" he smiles at me "I love you too" I say. I bite my lip and feel my face get hot.

I look over to my bedside table and look at my clock. "My mom's almost here, I need to change" I tell him and he nods, I stand up, I grab my clothes and start putting them on. I look over at Lucas and he's staring at me.

"Take a picture it'll last longer" I laugh, he takes his phone from the bedside table and I hear the phone snap a picture. "I was joking" I tell him and he grins "I know you were"he laughs. In only pants, I wrestle him for the phone.

"Dont you dare delete it" he tells me when I get the phone. I look at the picture, I scroll to see if he took more. I find a picture of him and his now ex, kissing.

I turn the phone off and drop it on the bed. I take my bra and shirt and put them on in the restroom. Not going into my room, I leave through the door in the restroom.

I walk downstairs and find aunt Holly, uncle George, Kipps and mom, disscussing. "Holly! We went over this 9 years ago! Why are you doing this again! I thought you said you'd stay out of my love life!" Mom screams.

"Lucy?" I hear a familiar but distinct voice say from the hall under the stairs. I turn the corner to see who it is and instantly cry from happiness.

"Daddy!" I scream and run into his arms, "dad I thought you were dead!" I cry and he holds me tightly. "Evie, you've grown so much!"he tells me and I smile. Mom looks at me then at him, "you're dead" she cries and my dad shakes his head.

Lucas finally comes downstairs, he sees my dad and runs to hug him. "Uncle Lockwood!" He yells and hugs him tighter than ever before. "Lucas? You too have grown so much" he tells him and I laugh.

"Come on, him and mom have some catching up to do" I say and smile at how happy we all used to be. We walk back upstairs.

~Lucy's P.O.V.~

"You can't be here! You just can't! You were dead!" I yell and cry at the same time. "He's been alive this whole time. He and I kept in contact" George admits.

I turn to look at him like Im about to slap him and Holly does too. "You could've told us!" Holly cries, "you could've stopped Lucy from ever getting to love someone else from Lockwood!" Holly cries.

"What? Luce? Is this true?" Lockwood turns to look at me. "Dont call me that!" I yell "is it true!!" He raises his voice "yes" I cry and he turns around in disbelief.

"With who?" He asks without looking at me "Kipps" I say and I see his eyes begin to water. "How could you do this to me. To Evie!" He yells at me and I cry.

"I didnt know you were alive! And I just wanted to be happy again!" I defend myself. "You could've been happy! Wasn't George, Holly, Evie, Lucas and Jake enough?!" He screams at me and I shake my head.

"I wanted someone to love me" I yell, Holly comes closer to me and slaps me, making me fall to the floor. "Don't you ever say that! We all love you!" Holly cries. "Daddy, who is this man?" Jake comes out of his room and runs to Kipps.

"Its okay, Jake, just come on lets go watch tv in your room" Kipps tells him and they go into Jake's room. "Daddy?" Lockwood's voice sounds shocked. "If I can recall that is my son!!!" He screams and I shake my head.

"He stopped being your son when you died!" I yell, standing back up. "Are you married to him?" He asks "no" I answer him "then I don't see how Kipps is my son's father!" He yells.

"I didnt want him to grow up without a father. I made him believe that Kipps was his dad" I cry at the truth. "You betrayed me, I love you, but you betrayed me" he cries.

"I remember I would always dream about the day when I got you back, and that we would confess our love for eachother, but now I see how naive I've been" he cries and walks upstairs.

"Where are you going!" I yell at him "to get my daughter as far away from you as I can" he says. I look over at Holly "you really did betray him, and not just him, but all of us. I always told you. You couldnt love Kipps. Maybe it would be less bad now if it wasnt Kipps who Jake calls dad" she cries and George huggs her tightly.

~Lockwood's P.O.V.~

I walk into Evie's room and find her crying, "honey what's wrong?" I ask, she looks over at Lucas and just shakes her head "nothing" she simply answers.

~Evie's P.O.V.~ -30 minutes earlier-

We walk into my room and sit beside eachother "do you still love her?" I ask and Lucas gives me a confused look, "your now ex girlfriend. Do you still love her?" I repeat myself.

He shakes his head "what? No, why would you" "I saw the picture in your phone, of both of you, kissing" I interrupt him. "I haven't gotten around to deleting everything" is his lame excuse.

"You're kidding right?" I say, finally looking at him, "Evie-" "I gave myself to you and, and you haven't gotten around to deleting them yet" I say, furious.

"Evie I am so sorry, I'll just delete them right now" he takes his phone and swipes over and over again. "There, see, no more pictures" he tries handing me his phone but I reject it.

"Just go away" I cry and he shakes his head "Evie, please, Im sorry" he says. I move away from him to the seat infront of my bed and he moves so that he can see me, without having to turn around.

"Honey, what's wrong?" My dad asks as he comes into the room. I look over over at Lucas and see his pained expression, "nothing" I say in tears.

~Lockwood's P.O.V.~

"Honey, pack your stuff, we're leaving, forget everything else, I'll just buy new things for you" I say and she nods "actually, can you buy me, new everything? Everything in here is infested with the smell of Kipps" she says and I nod.

She walks past me to go downstairs and I wait a few minutes "whatever you did, you better apologize. My daughter doesn't need this right now, above everything else thats happening" I say sternly.

"I thought you didn't approve of me and Evie being together" he says and I shake my head, "I always did, I just wasn't ever ready to let go of my little girl, but.............................she's not so little anymore" I admit and he nods. I turn to leave "Im really glad you're back, uncle Lockwood" he says and I turn around and give him a small smile.

I walk out of the room and find evie by the door. "Please, Evie you cant leave me, Im your mom" Lucy says, holding onto Evie's arm.

"No, you're wrong. You stopped being my mother the second you brought Kipps into my life, you stopped being my mother the second you stopped paying attention to me, you stopped being my mother the second you stopped...........loving my dad" Evie says harshly and yanks her arm from Lucy's grip.

"She's my daughter Lockwood, you cant take her from me" Lucy tells me and I shake my head. "You see, thats the thing, Im not taking her from you, she's choosing to go with me. Im not going to take her away from you like you took Jake away from me. Do you even know how old she is?" I say "16?" Lucy makes a guess "she's 19. I can clearly see how you payed no attention to her whatsoever. I'm willing to bet that she probably spent a few birthdays alone. And who do you think you are to separate her from Holly, George and Lucas. They are family! Dare touch my daughter and I will rip you apart" I threaten and walk out.

I sit in the car with Evie for a bit, "I'm okay with you and Lucas. Im guessing that you were crying because of something he did" I tell her and she nods. "I dont want to talk about it" she tells me and leans her head on the window.

"But you do know that Im here for you no matter what and you can tell me anything right?" I ask, "yes dad, I know, I've always known" she gives me a small smile and I turn the car on.

Holly knocks on the window and I slide it down. "Yes?" I ask and she looks down embarrassed "can you give us a ride?" She asks and I nod "hop on".

They all get in the car and George gives me the directions to the house but I ignore them. "Uhh this is the wrong place" George says and I laugh as I drive up to my mansion. "No it isnt, its my house" I say and all their jaws fall to the ground.

"This is no house! This is a castle" Lucas laughs. "If you want, you can settle down in any room you want, they're all free" I tell them as we walk in. "What Im really saying is, please choose whatever room you want, make it your own and come live with me" I laugh. "Agreed!" Lucas yells, "are you sure?" George asks and I nod.

"This space is way too big for just me and Evie, at first I decided to buy it because I thought everything would go back to the way it was and we'd all live here and happily ever after but now I see that I was wrong, so please come luve with me" I plea and George laughs "why not" he says and they all walk upstairs to find their own rooms.

"What's wrong Evie?" I ask and she shrugs, "I too thought that everything would be the same again, I thought that I would have my dad and mom together with me" she cries and I bring her in for a hug.

"Come on, lets go get you a room" I say, not knowing how to make her feel better. We walk into the second largest room "dad this is way too big" she says looking in the closet, her own restroom and the big room.

"Yeah well if I ever ground you, you dont have to whine about how small your room is" I laugh. She walks over to me and I hug her really tight, I kiss her head, "I thought I'd never see you again" she cries.

"Its okay honey. Im here. And I promise I wont ever leave you again" I promise her and she nods.

"Okay now, get whatever you want, I'll pay. Get everything you need and we'll meet back here when we're done, everybody got it?" I tell everyone and they all nod, "I'll go with George and Holly, you two okay with being together in the store? You sure you wont rip him apart?" I say to Evie and Lucas and they nod.

~Evie's P.O.V.~

I look around at all the pretty stuff in the store, I find 2 bean bags, 1 blue the other green and put them on the cart.

I find a long, wall mirror and put that in the cart too. "Are you really not going to talk to me?" Lucas asks and I ignore him. I find big letters, I get 2 e's, 1 i and 1 v. "I said I was sorry" Lucas says and I turn to look at him.

"You want me to talk to you? Fine. Put that small couch on your cart" I say, annoyed. He picks up the small white couch and puts it on his cart, he gives me an annoyed look and I almost laugh. I get some dark blue curtains and place them on the cart.

I get fairy lights, colorful lamps, 2 emoji pillows, I find the bed covers and get some pretty green ones that are queen size. "Are you almost done?" Lucas calls after me and I nod. "We can go get whatever you want now" I say after getting cute green and blue cushions.

We go to guy isle, he gets some boring blue covers for a king sized bed. I find some black lamps "what about these?" I smile and he nods, I place them in the cart and look for nice things for him, since I know he has no sense of style.

I find a blue tiny, hand size, couch "Im guessing this for a phone" I laugh and he takes it from me and puts it on the cart, "hey! That was for me" I say and take another blue one and put it in the cart.

"Ooooh what about this" I hold up a long mirror and he shakes his head quickly "no" he tells me and I put it in the cart. He goes to take it off but I stop him, "every room needs a mirror" I laugh and he leaves it.

I take some light blue curtains and put them on the cart, he takes them out and gets other ones that are the same boring blue as his bed covers. I groan and for more cute stuff.

I turn around to place a tiny heart cushion on the cart and I see he changed it back to the curtains I chose. I walk over to where he is and look at the candles.

I take one and smell, "mmmh" this smells so good, I hope we go eat somewhere after we leave" I say as I show Lucas the candle, "uggh, you shouldn't have done that, now Im hungry" he tells me and I laugh.

I walk back to the cart and place the candle on the cart. We walk over to the book section and I grab a magazine, I look up at Lucas and he has a book infront of him but he's not reading it, he's staring at me. I quickly look back down, I put the magazine back and get a few interesting books.

"Are you ready to go back?" I ask and he nods, we walk back to where my dad said to meet and he's thee waiting. "Hey guys, get everything you wanted?" My dad asks and we nod, as he said, he pays for everything and we leave soon after.

I fix my long mirror on the wall and smile into the mirror once I'm done. Lucas comes in from the door I hadn't checked out. "Uhh, this door leads to your room" he says to himself "yeah why?" I interrupt his thoughts.

"My room is across that door" he tells me, pointing to the door. I open the door wider and find his horribly decorated room. "Yeah that isnt going to work" I frown, "I can change rooms if you want?" He tells me and I shake my head.

"No, not that. What ever you did to your room, completely blew up in your face. I'll go in there later and fix everything" I tell him and he laughs going back into his room.

I go into the restroom and stare into the mirror, the door opposite of mine opens and in comes Lucas. "Are you serious?" I say, and he smiles. "Guess we're back to sharing everything" he tells me and I close my eyes. "Is something wrong?" He asks and I shake my head."No, Im fine" I say and walk back into my room.

Its finally night, I lay in my bed, just satring at the ceiling. I start falling asleep but then all of a sudden I hear, 'never stop' playing really loud outside.

I walk over to my window to see what it is and am surprised when I find that its Lucas looking up at me. "This is my love song to you!" He screams and I smile. I close my window and run downstairs, I hurry outside and run to Lucas' arms.

"Im sorry Evie" he says into my shoulder and I cry "I wasn't really even mad at you anymore" I laugh through my tears. "I love you" he tells me and I nod "I love you too" I cry into his shoulder.

We walk inside aunt Holly, uncle George and dad are standing there, smiling. "Guys, I approve of both of you but if you ever do have sex" "you want us to be safe. We know, aunt Holly already gave Lucas some condoms" I interrupt dad, accidentally throwing aunt Holly under the bus.

"Oh really?" My dad says and turns to look at aunt Holly, "hey! Before you say anything. I was asking them to be safe" she tells him and he nods "fine, I'll let that go, this one time" he smiles.

We all go into our rooms, I change into a black tank top and pink shorts. I turn my lights off and go to sleep.

Please dont hurt me" I tell him but he ignores me. He finally turns to look at me, "Kipps?" I say and he shakes his head, "you're probably thinking Quil Kipps, but no.......................Im Calumn Kipps.

He gets closer to me and begins to unbukle his belt, he slides his pants down and pushes me against the floor. "No!! No!!!!" I scream trying to push him off.

"Its okay! Its me, Lucas. Everything's fine!" He tells me and I quickly hug him closer to me. "Can you stay?" I ask, breathing hard. He nods and lifts the covers to get in the bed. He lays beside me, his arm on my waist.

He pulls me closer and I finally feel safe again. I fall asleep and the good dreams come.

Sooooooooooo, I hope you enjoyed this chapter! I know I did. Please vote and comment about what your favorite part was or something. I know this chapter was longer but I just couldn't resist. I might start making them all a bit longer than usual, everything is getting so exciting with Lucas and Evie. And who knows if Locklyle will come back, just kidding!
