10 | always forever

"Does anyone else get tired of this food that looks made in a 1 star restaurant? I don't think I wanna eat it, actually I'm not going to." Seun-jin set the tray aside, Jun-hee eyed him, "What are you doing? Eat it, you haven't ate in a while and if you don't you'll die."

"I'd rather wait until we get out of here, then I'd eat a whole buffet and gain a lot of weight. And it's okay, you need it too, or the both of you at least." He pointed at her stomach, "No it's your food, I'm not taking it, don't even attempt." She looked away, then an idea rang inside his head. "Okay I'll eat."

Jun-Hee turned back around as he watched him pick up the tray and spoon digging in the food, but it wasn't moving towards his direction it was hers, he let out a smirk, "Here you go."

"You're very annoying." She rolled her eyes, "it's not my fault, it feels like I haven't seen you in forever, so I'm just happy to see you again." He smiled at her, "Oh my gosh."

"Do you want me to feed you again? I know you liked it, like how you love me holding your hand." She moved away from him, "No I don't, actually you do know how i feel about pda, I don't want anyone looking, especially Myung-gi, he's..."

"Who cares? I'm the better one anyways."

"How are you not embarrassed?" He shrugged, looking down at his plate. "I've been embarrassed my whole life, even by people that I liked, or loved at some point."

"Is that why you act the way you do?" He titled his head, "Act like what?"

"Like, all cocky and flirty, I mean you did that often, even when we were together, or still talking."

"My mom left me because of my behavior apparently, I annoyed her, that's when it took a toll to my life, Aera told me I was a boring person and I had no spirit and no one would ever talk to me, but I believed it was just myself, but many others told me the same. I got bullied for it."

"You believed Aera? She's fucking—I mean, I'm sorry to hear that." Jun-hee looked down and he patted her head, "Are you jealous because I keep bringing her up? It's not like she's here or anything, and i don't like her anymore. So don't worry, you're still my favorite idol."

"You're so..."

"Hot? I know."

"Lights out in 5 minutes."

"Is this really necessary? You know I don't like sleeping on the floor." Jung-bae complained, Seun-jin turned to him with a smile. "Just think of it like sleeping on the floor because there's only one bed, or an argument...I got used to that often, sometimes I never had a bed."

Jung-bae turned to Seun-jin with a wide smile, "We're both the same! I know you slept on the floor once too." He looked away in embarrassment, nodding. "I have..because my mom kicked me out of my own room and I slept outside of it while it was locked."

"When the lights go out some people from 'O' might try to attack us in the dark, so we need to be prepared for whatever's coming." Gi-Hun said while setting up the barricade,

"Oh, right."

"The more people they eliminate, the prize money will go up, they'll go crazy."

"Gi-Hun I think you're just overreacting here, nobody killed anyone last time so this time should be okay, even if they were true they wouldn't do that." Seun-jin watched 001 and 456 as they argued.

"The last time I was here dozens of people killed each other here, you don't have any idea how much this place can change a person."

I saw Jun-Hee look at me, "Don't worry, I'll die before you do, I hope so." I wasn't being literal, she didn't smile and instead she looked like she was about to punch me, "Okay I'm just kidding, I think I am."

"Okay, I guess I didn't know what I was talking about, I'm sorry." He admitted defeat and Seun-jin looked away, not really entertained by their conversation, or argument really. Just old men fighting, nothing you really see everyday."

"We should take turns keeping watch, I'll take the first one." Gi-Hun said, "Then I'll take second watch then, I'll be fine." Seun-jin smiled at Jun-hee holding a thumbs up.

When the lights had went off, Seun-jin was sat next to Jun-hee who was holding his hand for dear life like something was going to happen, but he was getting quite tired. He started dozing off. But suddenly he felt Jun-hee move waking him up from almost sleeping.

"Where are you going?" Seun-jin asked, but she didn't answer him, she ignored him and walked up to 456, "Mister, I have to use the bathroom." She tapped him, "It's too dangerous to go alone."

Seun-jin would've offered to go with her, but he figured she needed her peace, sometimes they didn't want company, just time alone. Until that wasn't the case anymore when someone else offered to go with her.

"It's okay, I'll go with her." It was the old lady, that disciplined her son earlier, he was grateful that it wasn't her ex at least, he watched as they both walked off, Jun-hee looked a little annoyed.

I didn't feel safe here not one bit, of course I had Seun-jin but he was the only person I knew wouldn't turn on me. But the bathrooms are separated, which is nice to prevent weirdos from coming in and doing who knows what.

I wonder what happened last time.

"It's okay, I'll go with her." I looked back to 149, she was nice too, but I didn't trust her completely, people who look the nicest can stab you too. That's why you don't trust much people after a day of knowing them. 456 smiled and replied with a "Be careful."

I walked with her in silence to the bathroom, none of us said anything but the silence was loud until she broke it, "Where's your boyfriend is he not accompanying you?"

"Huh?" I turned to her in confusion, what kind of question is this for a first conversation? And why was that even the first thing that came to her mind? That's so weird. "Are you not with player 111? You're always with him."

"Um," I didn't know what to say, he wasn't exactly my boyfriend since we had broken up already, so ex boyfriend, but he was my type. And yet i still had feelings for him, so it was just a complicated. "Not really my boyfriend, he takes care of me though, it's 333."

"Oh I see, are you pregnant miss?" I looked down and sighed, "Yes." But she looked confused and raised a brow, "So then why is 111 looking after you and not 333 if he's the babies father?"

"333 ghosted me for 6 months and scammed me, he's not really present in our life. 111 had always been there for me and that I should ask whenever I need help and he'll come. He's a nice person, and I love him lots."

"That's a great man." She smiled, "Yeah, I know."

We finally made it to the bathroom, it was the triangle guard standing at the door, Jun-hee looked at 149, "Excuse me sir, we really have to use the bathroom, can you let us in?"

"No, the bathroom is not permitted for use at this time."

"What do you mean, no? We have to go sir. Do you not have any—?"

"No it's fine." 149 stood in front of me to face the guard, "Look Mr. Triangle, you have a weird mask but you're still human aren't you? Then you'd let us use the bathroom. When a lady tells you they need to use the bathroom it's for a reason they can't tell you. And if you can't understand that you shouldn't call yourself human, you really shouldn't."

I silently nodded.

The guard closed the peephole and opened the door, when we were about to enter there was another voice that came behind us. "Can I come with you guys too?" We both looked over at the tall girl standing behind us, player 120. I looked at 149.

Honestly I just wanted to be alone, but it got ruined for me. But at least there was sane people in this place and not all money hungry. Maybe I could trust the both of them too.

149 quickly turned around in surprise, "Oh yes ofcourse! This is Hyun-ju she's a woman too she'll come with us! Okay, come on let's go. Thank you Mr Triangle." She looked over at me, holding out her hand. "Come on now."

We walked through the stairs that Seun-jin had always complained about walking up saying his legs hurt and tired, it's said we had to reunite in a place like this but hopefully we'd make it out together and have a family, like I've always wanted. Myung-gi ruined that dream for me.

Then 149 suddenly spoke with concern tapping me, "I can't believe you're in a place like this in your condition, your mom and dad must be worried sick. Where are your parents?"

I scoffed, "I don't have a mom or dad, I have no parents."

We finally made it to the bathroom, I entered the stall before closing the door 149 looked over, "Tell me if you need anything okay? I'll be out here if you need me." I nodded and closed it.

I sat thinking about my whole life, I came here for my baby but I might as well die with it, I don't even know what to do in a place like this where you can die any time and this was no safe environment for a baby here.

I quietly sobbed, I didn't want to be disturbed at all, if anything just let it be him, I don't want to die here alone. I hadn't realized I'd been in here for so long until 149 knocked on the stall door, checking up on me. "What's going on? Is everything okay in there Jun-hee?"

"Jun-Hee? Can I come in?"

"What's going on with her? Is she sick?" 120 asked 149, "No, but she's pregnant, and I think she's getting really close to the due date."

"Oh."

149 opened the door and hugged me. "I don't wanna die here, I don't want to." She patted my back, "Everything will be okay, don't cry. It's not good for the baby, it's stress."

"I want to go home, I don't want to stay here anymore, just take me back to 111, please."

"Okay."

I couldn't even go to bed, tossing and turning wasn't any better so I sat up looking into space out of boredom and started counting sheep. This place was a hard one to sleep in knowing you could die at any given moment someone could kill you and you could be apart of that piggy bank, which hopefully wouldn't be me.

On my fifth sheep, I saw Jun-Hee come back from the bathroom with her eyes puffy red, what even happened? I didn't look until she was close enough that it was finally visible. She had been crying with the amount of tear stains she had.

"Is everything okay?" Seun-jin asked 149 who had much of a concerning look. "Please take care of her, she's not feeling good right now, and it's gonna affect her baby, she's stressing." I nodded, "I will don't worry about it."

As she walked away I looked over to Jun-Hee who was still standing and I just patted the spot next to me, instead she gave me a tight hug like I could die tomorrow, I mean I probably could.

"I wanna go home, I don't want to die." They had been cruel enough to get an old lady in here with her son, they wouldn't have any mercy on a pregnant one surely. "You won't, if anything happens I'll be there like I said, I promise. I'll do anything for you, even if it means my life."

"Don't say that, I don't want you to die either."

"You'll be my number one."

"Always."
