the calls

when i woke up i was in my bed. i remember falling asleep on the couch with Romano. i think he moved me, he probably did. i get up and go downstairs. when i get down there i go to the kitchen for breakfast. when i walk in im surprised to see Romano already there.

"good morning Italy." he says.

"good morning. whats for breakfast."  i ask.

"do you want pancakes." he asks.

i nod. we make the pancakes and sit down at the table to eat. we eat in silence. i was thinking about Canada. i havnt seen him in so long and i miss him. i should call him later if he dosnt call me first. im pretty sure were going to get a lot of calls today from the other nations. while i was daydreaming Romano got up and went to the living room and turned on so cartoon about tomatoes. we love cartoons in the morning. as i get up to put my plate in the sink i hear my phone ring. i go and look at whos calling. its Germany.

"ciao." i answer.

"hello italy. i saw ze news ze other day and i vant to say zat im very proud of you. is zat vhy you vere gone so long." he asks.

"ya thats why i was gone i wanted to become stronger. i didnt want to be weak anymore." i reply.

"vhen vill you be coming back?" he asked.

"soon hopefully." i reply

"good vell zen good bye." he says and hangs up.

i put my phone down and walk into the living room to see Romano put his phone away.

"who was that." we aks at the same time.

"germany" i reply.

"spain the tomato." Romano says.

i giggle at the nickname. we sit down and watch the tomato cartoon. it was very funny to watch. there was this cucumber in it to. i cant remember what its called but the tomatoes name is Bob and the cucumber is Larry. there were other vegtables in it and it was very entertaining. we ended up watching it until lunch because there was a marathon. i learned that the name was called 'Veggie Tales.' very fitting name.

"what do you want for lunch.' i aks.

"how about we make some pizza." Romano replys.

"were going to need to get some stuff first." i say.

"alright."

we walk out of the house and to the store. its not very far away. when we walk in we split up so we can find the ingrediants faster. i was getting the cheese when i accidentaly bumped into someone.

"oh im sor-" i start looking at the person.

it was Japan.

"herro Itary-kun. i was going to stop by rater to tark to you." he said.

"oh me and Romano were just getting the stuff for pizza. you can walk with us and join us for lunch if you want to." i offer.

Japan nods and walks with me to where Romano is.

" hey romano can Japan join us for lunch?" i ask.

he looks at me and smiles knowingly and nods.

"yay!" i say acting like i used to in a very long time.

we check out and walk home. on the way there Romano whispers something in my ear.\

"if you and Japan want to talk thats fine i can start the pizza." he says.

i look at him and nod.

"alright."

when we get home i put the stuff in the kitchen and lead Japan to my room so we can talk. when we get there i pull up a chair by the bed.

"so what did you want to talk about?" i ask.

"werr theres something i want to tell you." Japan says.

i smile inwardly already knowing what hes going to say.

"Itary-kun, i love you. i have since that meeting when Germany-san yerred at you. i dont know if you think the same way, but i just wanted to say it." he says, blushing.

i smile. "well japan theres something i want to tell you."

"what is it."

"i love you to. after you stopped germany from yelling at me thats when i realized it. i think i liked you before that but never realized it." i say smilling.

Japan looks shocked. but then leans in and kisses me. we stay like that for about a minute then pull away.

"so does this mean were a couple?" i ask.

"yes it does." Japan says.

"well lets go and tell Romano the good news. and dont worry he already knew i liked you and he aproves so."

he nods and we head downstairs.
