A/N: i made a typo in the last chapter but i fixed it. it was supposed to be 9 not 10.  lol. this took me like 2-3 hours to write! idk when i'll update again! should I write another Adym story? lmk! love yous!

Emma;

i woke up from my phone being blowed up.

Mari- hey it's Adym. i am sorry. i didn't mean to cheat on you. i thought i had changed. please call me! i miss you!

i groaned and blocked mari's number. i had texted Damien, who was one of the hot doctors at the hospital.

me- hey it's emma lynn. one of the patients at the hospital. wanna meet up somewhere?

Damien- sure! my house?

me- sure.

i smile and walked over to Ava and gave her a kiss on her forehead. "grammy will watch you. mama has a errand to run." i tell her and she giggles.

i grab my purse and phone and told my mom to watch Ava and that I'll be home later.

i got in my car and drove to his house. i parked next to his car and knocked on his door.

"oh hey, come on in" he says. i walked in and smiled.

we sat at the table talking about ourselves. we were staring at each other when he started leaning in. our lips grazed each other, "may i?" he says. "sure" i say.

his pressed his lips against mine as we kissed. my hands wrapped against his neck, his hands were on my waist. after a few minutes, we pulled away. we both smiled. "i guess i'll see you later." i say and he smiled. "yep." he says.

i got in my car and drove home. on the way home, i was smiling and still thinking about the kiss.

i parked in my spot and went in the house. "i'm home" i yell. "upstairs!" my mom yelled.

i went upstairs and notice a man and my mom were in my room laying down. "who's this?" i ask my mom. "this is Fernando, my boyfriend" my mom said. "oh hi" i say and go to Ava.

i pick her up and kissed her forehead. "when was she fed last?" i ask my mom. "almost a hour ago" she says and i nod. i take Ava downstairs and placed her in her play pen and walked in the kitchen.

i miss my dad. he died of cancer 10 years ago. i was 8 years old when he died.

I sat down on the couch in the living room and cried silently.

I went upstairs to grab my phone charger when I walked in to my mom and her boyfriend having sex on my bed.

i closed my door and left my phone die. picked up Ava and grabbed my keys. "we're going to see a friend of mine" i say to Ava. i'm pretty sure Damien won't mind me and Ava staying there for a few days.

i drove over to his place and parked in the spot i was before. "came back early?" he says. "yes. my mom and her boyfriend were having sex on my bed so i decided to come over. is that alright?" i say. "sure" he says. i walked in and picked Ava up. "emma?" damien says. "yes?" i say.

"would you like to go out sometime?" he says. "damien, i just got out of a cheating relationship. I need time" i tell him and he nods. "okay" he says.
