𝖢𝗁𝖺𝗉𝗍𝖾𝗋 1 𝖬𝗈𝗏𝗂𝗇𝗀 𝗂𝗇 𝗐𝗂𝗍𝗁 𝗍𝗁𝖾 𝖶𝖺𝗅𝗍𝖾𝗋𝗌

Ava-Claire's POV:

We we're at the airport waiting for Miss and Mr Walter. And ofcourse Jackie was calling with uncle Richard because she is his favourite niece but surprisingly he asked how i was. I said i was fine even tho i wasn't this is the second time 1 lost my whole family but i had to stay happy for Jackie that was the least i could do.

A couple minutes later after Jackie hung up Miss and Mr Walter came running to us. Miss Walter hugged us both i could barely breath.

"Hey girls!'' Miss Walter said and Mr Walter nodded at us.

"Hi Miss and Mr Walter thank you for taking us in'' I said

''Oh honey ofcourse and u please call us Katherine and George'' Katherine said

Jackie was quiet i guess for her it was al lot to take in. We started walking to the car.

''So is everything okay how was the flight? Want some coffee or anything?'' Katherine said in a nervous voice.

''No thank you im fine'' I said. ''Yeah im fine too thank you for asking tho'' Jackie said.

After the car ride we finally arived i looked outside the car window and saw a huge house with a lot of land. George opend the door for us. As we walked onto the porch someone was calling Katherine so she answerd. I could hear form what she said on the phone that it had to do something with her job.

 As we wanted to walk forward a boy on a skateboard with a bucket hat came almost running us over.

''MOVE'' The boy on the skateboard said and he drove away.

''Watch where your going!'' I yelled at him

There was also sitting a boy on the porch reading a book and he looked our way

''Danny'' He said pointing to himself

''Hi im Ava-claire but you can just call me Ava and this is my sister jackie'' I said pointing to me and jackie.

''Hi'' Jackie said shy and smiling. I could see that she was nervous to move in.

''Oh sorry girls i have to go to the clinic something came in George will show u around'' Katherine said in a rush and walking away to the car again.

As we followed George inside a little boy came running.

''Woah Benny no running in the house!'' George said to the little boy

''Im not running!'' Benny said as he ran away.

Then we walked into the living room. There we're 2 boys playing games on the tv. one boy had brown hair and brown eyes and immediately looked at us as George asked them to stop gaming for a second. The other boy had black hair and brown eyes but he was still focused on the game.

''Okay so this is Alex and Isaac, Boys these are Ava-claire and Jackie'' George said.

Alex immediately stood up to introduce himself. He stuck his hand out to Jackie and stared at her for a while until i faked coughed.

''Oh hi, im Alex'' He said.

''Hi, im Ava-claire but you can just call me Ava'' i said back looking at Jackie who was staring at him.

''Okay boys can u help me with the bags'' George said as he walked away with Jackie following him and Alex going to the car to get the bags.

I also wanted to follow George but then Isaac said ''Wait''

''What do you want?'' I said anoyed

"Hey no need to act like that but u havent inroduced yourself to me'' He said.

''I can act how i want and aren't u supposed to be the one to introduce urself since im the new one here?'' I said to him back and rolled my eyes.

''Okay so i am Isaac'' He said with a sighed

''Cool im Ava-Clair but you can just call me Ava'' i said back.

''Okay see you later Claire'' He said and walked away to the car.

I turned around to find George and Jackie and frowed my eyebrows because no one has ever called me Claire instead of Ava. I saw that George and Jackie we're talking to an older guy so i walked to them. George walked away to grab more bags. As i came i heard Jackie finally talk to him.

''Oh look here is my sister Ava-claire'' Jackie said.

''Hello Ava-claire, im Will im the oldest on of them al and i will be showing u guys around''

''Hey u can just call me Ava'' I said back to him. He was really sweet and u could tell he was the oldest by the way he acts.

''So who have you already met?'' He asked to us while giving us lemonade.

''We have met Danny,Alex,Benny and uhm...'' Jackie said.

''And Isaac'' I said filling her in.

''Wait for me uncle George!'' Said the guy on the skateboard again passing us.

''So the Tony-Hawk wannebe is Lee'' Will said.

''We've met'' I said anoyed.

Will brought us upstairs to a bedroom where there was a boy sitting on the floor playing the gituar. He acctually played really good!

''Nathan'' Will said while knocking on the door that was opend. The boy looked up.

''This is Jackie and Ava-claire'' Will said while we we're walking in.

''Hi! Its nice to finally meet you'' Nathan said excited while shaking our hands'.

And ofcourse i said again: ''Hi im Ava-claire but you can call me Ava''

Jackie just smiled at him and said ''Thanks, you too'' while she shook his hand.

''Come on!'' Will said making us follow him to the backyard.

''Just so you know im hard of hearing so if im not looking at you or there's a lot of backround noise, i wont understand. Just FYI'' Will said to us while there was loud music playing.

Will turned of the loud music. I looked around and saw alot of kids playing by the pool and i finally saw a girl that was playing with Benny meanwhile a boy with a camera was filming them like it was an action movie.

''Hey everyone this is Jackie and Ava-claire!'' Yelled at them so they could hear.

''Hello'' Jackie said and waved at them.

''Hey, u can call me Ava for short'' I said while i smiled and waved aswell.

''Hey!'' the girl said excited and smiled at us.

''Thats Parker over there and thats Benny'' Will said meanwhile the guy with the camera came to us.

But then something came out of the pool. First i thought it was a dog because i saw water splashing around as he shook his head but then i realized it was another boy. The boy came out the water and said nothing he just went and sat on a chair laying down. I looked at Jackie but she was staring again! but REALLY staring right now i was disgusted.

''Care to introduce yourselves?'' Will said to the boy that just came out of the water.

He turned his head to us and looked at us bust mostly Jackie. Then he finally said something.

''They wil figure it out'' He said thinking he was all that or something.

''Thats Cole...'' Wil said disapointed.

Then the boy with the camera finally was where we we're and started filming us really close to our faces

''Hey dont get my bad side'' I said while i laughed.

Meanwhile Jackie tried to push the camera away with her hand.

''Jordan, aspiring film director. Leave them alone Jordan'' Will said while pushing Jordan away so he would stop filming us.

Now another thing came out the water. But this time it was a dog and not a show off. The dog came out the pool and shook himself dry making us wet. 

''Albert no!'' Will said to the dog but the dog didn't stop.

I stepped back so i wouldn't get wet like everybody would do... Except jackie she thought she could not get wet by covering her with her hands. So then she was soaking wet

''I am so sorry!'' Will said to Jackie and gave her a towel that was laying on a chair next to him.

''Its okay im fine'' Jackie said while drying herself.

''I will show u your room, come'' Will said while we we're following him.

''Hey! start bringing their stuff upstairs, okay?'' Will said to Cole that was still thinking we thought he was hot what was defenitly wrong but maybe not wrong for Jackie?

A few seconds late Will asked Cole again but now stricter. But Cole still didn't care and just said:

"I heard you''

Then we walked inside up the stairs.

''Uhm how many of these kids are George and Katherine's?'' I asked him because there are alot of them.

''Oh you didn't know. All of them there are eight of us kids plus Lee and Isaac are cousins on dads side''

''Uncle Richard said you said you had a big family, but i mean i had-'' Jackie said but then she stopped as she looked around and saw alot of bedrooms doors and look confused.

''Wait, you all live here?'' she asked shocked.

''No. i live in town with my fiance Haley, but everyone else yeah'' he answerd

''This is your room u are sharing if thats okay'' he said as he opend the bedroom door.

We walked inside and almost all of our suitcases and boxes we're already here.

''It was my moms old art studio'' Will said

''Wow...'' Jackie said as she looked around and looked at the beautiful art that was all over the room even on the walls.

But then we heard a loud bang behind us... It was Cole that dropped the box behind us. This time he had a shirt on so i was relieved. meanwhile Jackie had turned around and stared at him AGAIN.

''Will are you gonna help? There is a ton of stuff to bring up'' He said anoyed

''We can do it!'' I said to offer some help.

''No, you make yourselves at home okay." Will said while he walked away meanhile Cole was still in the room and looked at Jackie and said:

''Yeah. dont worry about it, New York'' He said with a smirk on his face. Meanwhile i faked gagged as he walked away. Jackie was still staring at him until he was out of sight.

''So Jackie i see we got a crush in your mind'' I said looking at her with a smile on my face.

''Shut, up'' Jackie said as she pushed me.

I laughed at her.

We started unpacking as we heard a knock on our door and heard Katherine's voice saying: ''Girls its me can i come in?''

''Sure'' Jackie said as Katherine came in.

''Will told me what happend at the pool. I am so sorry about Albert, he just gets really excited sometimes'' Katherine said.

Jackie smiled at her

''So how are u setteling in? Can i get u anything im sorry that there isn't anymore room up here yet i-'' She said apoligizing.

''Its fine'' Jackie said quickly.

''Im sorry we're taking in your space, your art work is really amazing'' I said to apologize.

''Oh please, i do not have time to paint anymore with al these kids running around. I want you to have it!'' Katherine answerd

We smiled as i finally felt a safe feeling again when Katherine is was talking to us.

''So how did it go with the surgery'' Jackie asked so i asumed she was secretly listening to the phone from Katherine.

''Oh uhm, it went well. Uhm turns out Bo had a really bad ear infection. He gonna be fine but itts still bothering him, and it was bothering his owner'' Katherine answers surprised and anoyed at the same time while she was moving the paint stuff around to make more space for us.

We chuckeld as she said that.

''Did u study vetinary at Columbia? I saw a picture of you and our mom'' Jackie asked

''No. uh, i got my first degree at Columbia and then i went to vet school Colorado State.'' She answerd surprisingly again because Jackie was asking alot of questions.

Jackie smiled at Katherine and looked away. I saw Jackie was still having hard times without our family.

''Your so much like her'' Said Katherine to Jackie.

Jackie smiled. ''Everyone says that'' ''Lucy looked more uhm...'' Jackie said as she was having a hard time saying it.

''Lucy looked more like dad'' I said so Jackie wouldn't have to say it.

''Well its not just your looks'' Katherine said to Jackie

''U have a poise her... bearing'' Katherine added

''She talked about you and Lucy all the time'' Katherine said what kind of broke my heart that she wasn't talking about me alot.

''She talked about you too'' Jackie said.

Then it was a quiet a couple of minutes until Katherine broke the silent.

''Look Jackie, Ava i knows coming here is hard for you. And i can not even imagine what your going thru. But know that im always here to talk even when im busy with all of the other kids. Think about me as your second mother'' Katherine said to make us feel safe and seen.

''But anyways i think George is almost done with making dinner so if ur hungry u can come down stairs'' Katherine said and smiled.

''Uhm no im sorry im just tired'' I said to her and Jackie nodded agreeing with me.

''Okay just come down if u change ur mind'' Katherine said and smiled as she left the room.

A/n: This was chapter 1 and im sorry if this was a bit boring but i think that the next chapter will be better because they go to school in the next chapter :) 

And let me know if u have some advice for me since this is my first story
