♢Chapter 13♢

04:16, 28 October 2018

Yaoyorozu P.O.V It was late at night, around 11:45. I couldn't get to sleep, so I decided to stay up and read, since it's all I could do this late at night without disturbing anyone.

I sat in my bed as I read a story called When Day Meets Night, which I really enjoyed a lot. I flicked to the other page and read the story for a while. After a few minutes I placed my book down and leaned back into my pillows.

I stretched my arms above my head, curing the aching in my shoulders and back. It was to quiet now. I had gotten so use to Todoroki being around and the two of us talking late into the night, but with him gone, it was just a bit to quiet.

I decided that I should get some sleep, since it was late. I got up from my bed with my book in hand and left my room to return it to the library. As I walked down the darken hallways, I saw someone coming up the hallway. It was a solider. What's he doing here this late at night?

"Em sir?" I called out as he made his way over to me. I could see he had a panicked expression on his face as he ran quicker to me. "Princess Yaoyorozu" the solider spoke as he stopped before me.

"Is something wrong? Where are you going at this time at night?" I asked the man. "I was going to wake your father, for Prince Todoroki is here, but he doesn't look so good" the solider explained to me.

What? Todoroki? Is here? Why is he here? What's wrong?

"You go get my father. I'm going down to see him" I told the man as I walked passed him. "Alright" he told me as he continued to my father's room. As soon as he was gone, I started to run down the hallways to the entrance of the castle.

I ran down the hallways and down the stairs towards the front door of the castle. When I got outside to the steps, I saw Todoroki sitting on the second step, his knees tucked into his chest, and not speaking as another solider tried to ask him questions.

I made my way down the steps and sat beside Todoroki, who looked like he didn't even notice I was next to him. I noticed that his clothes and even a small bit of his white hair was stained with something. Red? Was that blood!? Was he okay!?

"Shoto?" I whispered quietly, not wanting to scare him. Todoroki flinched a bit when he heard his name being spoken, but turned to face me. Instantly, I could see that his eye's were red and puffy. Was he crying?

"A-are you okay?" I asked, not knowing what to say to him, scared I will say something wrong. He looked to the ground in front of him, averting his eye's away from mine.

Todoroki didn't speak for a while, but when he did, his voice was quiet."M-my mother..." he whispered. "What about your mother?" I asked him. I watched as he clenched his fists tightly.

"S-she's gone. Long gone.." Todoroki spoke a bit more, sounding upset. "Gone? What do you mean?".Please don't tell me she's-

"Dead. Killed. Murdered" Todoroki spoke, chocking up as he said those words. I stayed silent. The Queen was dead? But how? Who would do that to her!? She was a kind  woman who was always so welcoming. Who in this world would kill her like that!?

"Who did it?" I asked Todoroki, trying to keep calm. He was silent."My father".I froze. Endeavor was the one who killed Todoroki's mother. To be honest, I should have seen it was him. He was a man who would execute people on the spot if they dare say something or did anything to irritate him, no matter who you were, man, woman or child.

"F-from all the b-blood, I couldn't see what he did t-to her, b-but I believed he s-stabbed her, multiple times" Todoroki spoke out-loud as I saw his eye's watery up. Suddenly, be began to cry and sob into his hand's.

I was taken aback by his actions. I could never imagine Todoroki crying in all my life, but here he was, crying and sobbing into his hands after his own father killed his mother.I wanted to comfort him, so I reached over and hugged his.

As soon as I did, Todoroki turned to me and wrapped his arms around me and cried into my shoulder. I honestly didn't care if my nightgown is stained with tears or whatever. We just stayed like that for a few minutes, just me hugging the multi coloured haired boy as I told him he was okay, and him hugging me like I was his lifeline and cried into my shoulder.

After some time, Todoroki began to calm down, his tears stopping, and leaving him with shallow breaths. We were silent for a few moments."You okay now?" I asked him, which I felt him nod to. "Yeah. Yeah I'm fine" Todoroki spoke as he pulled away from the hug and wiped his eye's.

"Sorry" he told me."There's nothing to be sorry about" I reassured him, which he only nodded to."Todoroki. What in the name of everything good are you doing here this late at night?".Me and Todoroki turned to the door, seeing my father, his expression was a mixture of both confusion and worry.

Me and Todoroki both stood up."Forgive me, King Yaoyorozu, but if I were to stay in my home for another moment, I would have been killed" Todoroki spoke. "What do you mean?" My father asked."Queen Rei Todoroki was brutally murdered by King Endeavor" I spoke, not wanting Todoroki to tell my father, afraid that he would get upset again.

"Murdered!? But why!" My father asked, looking disturbed as he looked to Todoroki for answers. "I'm sorry, but I do not know. I didn't stick around to find out my father's intentions" Todoroki apologised.

I watched as my father took a moment to think. "Does your father know you are here?"."I don't know, but I'll believe that my father will soon find out that I came and left, and will come here first" Todoroki explained to my father. My father was in deep thought once again, and I saw he became pale as a thought crossed his mind.

"Momo, Todoroki, can I trust you to get to the One For All Kingdom" my father asked us, confusing us. "What?" I asked my father, not knowing why he would want us to go there."Knowing King Endeavor, he'll come here first searching for you Todoroki. King Endeavor will probably be in rage and will destroy anything in his path, even other Kingdom's. If you get King All Might to help, we could probably catch your father before he does anything or hurts anyone" my father explained.

I could tell by the tone in my father's voice, that he wasn't telling us something. "Alright. Me and Momo will go to the One For All Kingdom and get some help to get my father before he can do any damage" Todoroki spoke as he bowed his head.

"Okay. Momo, go to your room and get changed. Then, meet Todoroki by the stables. I'll meet you both there in a while" my father explained to us as we walked back inside. I made my way up to my room and began to get changed. I didn't put on a dress, since I was going on horseback, but instead, a cotton grey top, and trousers.

I slapped on my boots and made my way down to the stables, where I found Todoroki preparing a horse. I walked over to him and stood beside him. "Is this my horse?" I asked him, which he nodded to. "Yeah. I already have my horse at the gate. No point leaving her here" Todoroki explained to me.

When he was done strapping the saddle on, he told me, "Come on". I nodded and hopped onto the horse and onto the saddle. Todoroki grabbed the reins of the horse and pulled him along towards the front of the castle. When we got there, Todoroki's white horse was already there, a guard holding onto him, and besides him, my father.

"Remember, go quickly, alright" my father told me as Todoroki passed my the reins of my horse as he made his way over to his own. "We know. We'll be back as soon as possible. I promise" I told my father with determination. He smiled and passed my a letter.

"Open that letter once you get to the One For All Kingdom" my father told me firmly, meaning he was serious as he gave me a smile. A forced one. I was about to question it, but Todoroki interrupted me. "Let's get going. Who knows what my father is planing, or how long it'll take for him to get here, so let's do this quickly" Todoroki told me.

I nodded. "Alright, let's go" I ordered him as I whipped the reins and we were off, the horse passing the gates and into the village, and then into the countryside and into the forest. The further away we got away from my home, the more I got a sinking feeling in my stomach.

Something just didn't feel right. I shook my head. No, I have to focus. No time to let emotions get in the way of the plan. If we aren't back with some help, who knows what will happens when we're gone. I whipped the reins on last time, picking up speed and was now next to Todoroki.

Hopefully we get back on time.
