Part 12

Now after almost a month.....

sujal was working in his office.... some one came and placed hands on his table... he looked at the person and got happily surprised.....

Sujal:- TUM...?

he got up from his chair in excitement and hugged that person.... it was a bone crushing hug.....

sujal:- I missed you so much naina..... ( still in hugging position..... naina felt a chill on her spine..... he left her... when they heard aalekh's voice from the door....)...

aalekh:- sirf naina ko miss kia,... apun ko nahi..... ?

sujal:- tu bhi aaya hai.... (now he hugged aalekh as well...) kya yaar... kaisa kaam hai tum sabka.... pooja ki language me bolun to pura ka pura connection hi cut kar dia.... kma bhi gaya tha main....

aalekh:- pata hai.... ab kya kare... aisa kaam hi hai... waise khush ho ja,.. apun ki aur naina ki posting yahan shimla me hui hai....

sujal(happily held naina's hand):- sach.... matalab ab yahin rahoge tum log.... ?

aalekh:- ha... jab tak agali posting ke orders nahi aate...... (to naina) naina tu kya chup chap khadi hai... kuchh bol toh....

naina:- woh..... (indicating towards thier hands) sujal mera haath....

he left her hand.... And both got embarrassed....

sujal:- sorry..... baaki log kaha hai....?

Naina:- leave pe hai.... mere aur aalekh ke siwa sabko leave mil gayi hai.... humari posting shimla base camp me, ek mission ke chalte hui hai.... main sabka number de dungi... aap baat kar lena.....

sujal:- ok.... baitho to main coffee mangwata hun....

after some time... all three of them were having coffee and sandwiches,,... right then kashish came with a file...

Kashsih:- sujal....wo.... (her eyes fell on naina and aalekh...).... aap log.....?

aalekh:- hi kashish... kaisi ho...?

kashish (with a warm smile):- i am fine.... aap log kaise hai....?

aalekh:- badhiya... aa baith na....

kashish:- nahi... sujal... tumhe yeh file dene aai thi... you guys carry on.... mujhe kuchh kaam hai.... (kashish has left from there...)....

aalekh:- yeh tere sath kaam karti hai...?

sujal:- nahi... As such.... ab piyush to rest par hai... to kabhi kabhi aati hai... like jab kuchh sign and all ki jarurat ho to....

naina:- kyun... piyush kyun kaam nahi karta.....?

sujal:- pata nahi yaar... phisycally he looks absolutely fine... par... jab bhi usse business ki baat karo... usko chakkar aate hai,... waise bhi main jyada in logon se baat nahi karta... usko kaam karna hai kare... nahi karna na kare.....

aalekh:- sahi hai... apne kaam se kaam rakh... waise bhi in sab ki wajah se hi teri zindagi me problems hui hai.....

Naina:- sujal kal kya aap humare base camp aa sakte hai.... ya fir humare ghar.... ?

sujal:- kyun....? any problem....?

aalekh( looking at naina... She assures something ):- actually ha... yahan baat nahi kar sakte hai... kal aa ja.....

sujal:- theek hai... waise tum dono ruke kaha ho.... ?

aalekh:- wo hume ghar allot hua hai... hum army quarters me nahi rehna chahte the to ... maine aur naina ne ek hi ghar lia hai....

sujal:- nice yar.....

Aalekh naina house....

Aalekh was looking at the sky from the window... Naina came and handed over mug of coffee to him.....

Aalekh :- kya lagta hai... How will he react....?

Naina:- shocked.... But its terrible aalekh... Sab kuchh theek hone ke bad unki life me fir sab bigad jayega..... I saw in his eyes... Somewhere he was content ki sab theek ho gaya hai...

Aalekh:- aur ab hum ek naya bam phodne wale hai usper.....

naina:- hmm.... hope so wo is bar bhi sath de paaye....

aalekh:- tujhe doubt hai....?

naina:- nahi..... par..... dar hai...... humari wajah se kahin na kahin....

aalekh:- dekh naina... apun ko nahi lagta ki sujal humara sath nahi dega... wo tab nahi haara to ab bhi nahi haarega.....

naina:- hmm.....

aalekh:- chal... chal kar so ja.... jo hoga... kal dekhte hai......

naina went to her room and aalekh to his... both slept thinking tomorrow.....

Next day ....

Toady sujal himself didn't know why,,,, but he was very happy... he got ready and was about to go to office... but before that, he is about to go to Naina and aalekh's house.... so he was having his breakfast in hurry... all others were just looking at his eating speed......

lalit:- sujal beta... itni bhi kya jaldi hai... araam se khao na.... train nahi chhut rahi hai....

sujal ( chewing):- wo uncle... mujhe bahut late ho raha hai.....

piyush:- are khud ka office hai... koi employee nahi ho tum.....

sujal:- hmmm....

he finished his meal and kissed on veena's cheek and left.....

sujal (while going out):- mujhe late hoga... bye.....

veena:- are suno to...... yeh ladka bhi na.....

rishi (with battishi):- kya baat hai ma.... aaj kissi wissi... koi special din hai kya.... ?

veena (smiling):- nahi to... tum to jaante ho jis din wo bahut khush hota hai... aise hi behave karta hai.....

vasu:- to aaj kaun si khushi ka din hai veena........ koi sujal ka special din hai kya... jo hume nahi pata....

veena:- nahi to aisa to kuchh nahi hai.... (kashish got up to go..... ) kashish... tumne finish nahi kia apna breakfast.... khatam karo.....

kashish (looking down):- nahi wo... mera ho gaya... mujhe bhi office jana hai... kuchh kaam hai... bye... piyush you take care...... (kashish was about to go.... right then... rishi said... looking at kashish...)...

rishi:- waise ma... somewhere.... i know... big b ki khushi ka raaz....

veena:- aur wo kya... ? jo sujal ne mujhe nahi bataya.....

rishi:- NAINA..... (kashish stopped at her place.... and looked at rishi... rishi gave him an evil smile.... ) wo naina aur aalekh aaye the kal office... unki,... shimla base camp me posting hui hai... to bas... aaj big b apne friends se fir se milne wale hai to khush to honge hi..... (kashish went out.....).....

veena:- yeh to achhi baat hai... wo dono bahut achhe hai... main unhe dinner pe invite karungi.... kya kehte hai aap sab,,,,,?

CG:- ha kyun nahi....

lalit:- bilkul...... unhi ke karan to aaj humare bachhe sahi salaamat hai... hai na vasundhara... ?

vasu: - ya.......

Piyush in his mind:- captain aalekh sharma and captain naina singh....... kahin kuchh gadbad to nahi.....

Out side just few minutes away from Rng house....... sujal was just kicking the tyre of his car...

sujal:- ise bhi abhi puncher hona tha... ek kaam karta hun... rishi ko bula leta hun... he removed his phone from car... and was about to dial rishi's number... right then kashish stopped her car.... sujal looked at her... and ignored... she came out....

kashish:- kya hua.... ? gadi kharaab ho gayi kya....? (he nods in yes....).... chalo main tumhe drop kar deti hun....

sujal:- no need... main rishi ko bula lunga.....

kashish:- sujal... main office hi ja rahi hun... driver ko bhej dena wo gaadi le jayega...

sujal:- maine kaha na.....

kashish :- mujhe tumse kuchh baat karni hai sujal....

sujal:- i am not interested....

kashish:- its about piyush... please... i am requesting .... please mere liye na sahi... piyush ke liye.....

sujal picked up his bag and settled in the car... she came back and drove away.....

sujal:- bolo... kya baat hai..... ?

kashish:- 2 minutes... aage ek coffee shop hai... wahan baat kar le...?

sujal:-maine bola na... jo bolna hai... yahi bolo... baat kya hai....?

she stopped the car with jerk... it was the empty road.....

kashish:- sujal.... kuchh gadbad hai.....

sujal:- gadbad... kaisi gadbad,,.... ?

kashish:- piyush ke sath kuchh galat hai.....

sujal:- tum kehna kya chahti ho..... ?

kashish:- sujal... wo purane piyush nahi hai..... wo badal gaye hai.... pehle piyush mujhe samajhte the... unki aankhon me mere liye softness thi... par yeh to...

sujal (felt a little uncomfortable...):- to... hota hai... he is your husband.... you have to deal with it,.... mujhe kyun bata rahi ho yeh sab... isn't it i am the same sujal... who tried to kill your mahaan piyush and wanted to you both to get separated...... ? (kashish looked down ) waise bhi.. he had gone through with so much... pehla jaisa hone me time lagega..... waqt do... usko bhi aur apne rishtey ko bhi.... (sujal was about to go out... as not feeling good at all with her.... as still she effects him....)

kashish:-sujal mujhe lagta hai ki wo insaan piyush nahi hai..... (he stopped... and looked at her with little shock)......

sujal:- tum kehna kya chahti ho.....?

kashish (with tears ):- i i really dont know... ki main jo samajh rahi hun... ya mehsoos kar rahi hun... wo kahan tak sahi hai par..... i dont feel safe with that man.. wo.. alag hai... jis tarah wo mujhe dekhta hai... aisa lagta hi nahi hai... wo ki apni patni ko dekh raha hai.... azeeb sa feel hota hai... aur uper se,.... jab bhi usse business ka kuchh bhi baat karo... he never show any interest..... trust me sujal... is mamle me ladkiyo ki gut feeling galat nahi hoti hai... hume pata chal jata hai ki samne wale ladke intestions sahi hai ya galat.... pls... trust me....

sujal (softly, kucchh soch kar):- hmm... i know... its your personal thing... but... is he abusing you..... ? or some thing... i mean... you know what i mean......

kashish started to cry.... sujal got afraid......

sujal:- kashish.... kya hua... tum.... (he held her face....) bolo baat kya hai..... ?

kashish (crying):- he he.. forced on me.... (dhamake on sujal's face)... piyush badal gaye hai sujal... pehle wale piyush aise nahi the... humari shadi ke bad... unhone meri marzi ke bina mujhe chhua tak nahi tha.... aur ab... how can he... ? i am not ready for something like that... itna sab kuchh hua... maine unhe dhakka de dia... to unhone.....

sujal:- kya kia usne...... ( she again started to cry).... bolo kashish...jab tak bataogi nahi.... main kuchh kar nahi paaunga... bolo.... ?

kashish:- he slapped me... multiple times.... ( she held his coat....) piyush aise nahi the sujal... tum jaante ho.... is cheez ke liye mujh par haath uthana.... main kisi se kuchh nahi keh pa rahi... past me jo kuchh bhi hua.... par tum... pls mera yakeen karo... pls.... sabse jyada wo mere sath rehte hai... i can feel the difference.... sujal pls help me... last time... (hath jod kar ) hath jodti hun tumhare.... pls sach ka pata laga do sujal.... pls.....

sujal composed himself......

sujal (very softly):- kashish... tumne sahi kia hai... chahe biwi hi kyun na ho... NO means,.. NO.... kisi bhi mard ko yeh hak nahi ki wo apni patni ki marzi ke bina use chhuye.... (She looked at him with soft emotions and respect ) so... dont take stress... tumne mujhe bata kar bhi kuchh galat nahi kia..ok..... but ek request hai... abhi ghar me kisi ko bhi kuchh mat bolna.... kuchh bhi nahi... main dekhta hun.... main baat karunga piyush se.... ek haadsa insaan ki fitrat to nahi badal sakta.... tum office jaao.....

she nods in yes and wiped her tears......

kashish:- aur tum... main tumhe drop kar deti hun.....

sujal;- nahi tum jaao... main yahi se chala jaunga... taxi lekar.... (She nods in yes and sujal got out from the car.... kashish drove away....... he was looking at her car going away....) kya karun... ispe trust karna sahi hoga....?...par yeh jhuth kyun bolegi.... nahi jitna main ise janta hun... yeh itni badi baat aise nahi kahegi.... nahi.. nahi..... yeh galatfehmi ki dukaan hai... mujhe kaatil bana dia tha... kahin piyush ko bhi galat to nahi samajh rahi, aur use Rapist bana de....... nahi is mamle me aurat galat nahi samajh sakti,,... ek ladki ko mard ki nazaro se uske intentions pata chal jaate hai......... kya karun...? hmmm.. are ha... aalekh aur naina... ha... unse discuss karta hu.......

Sujal came to aalekh and naina's house before going to office..... he pressed the bell , naina came and opened it......

Naina (with smile):- Hi....

Sujal( smiling):- Hi... ander aa jaun....?

Naina:- ahhh... ha sure... come in....

he came in and saw... it was a small 2 BHK cozy house... not lavish but... soothing and comfortable.... wood fire was there... above that place he saw few pics... in first one... super 6 were there... and in second one rajveer and naveen's one holding and trophy... and third one was rajveer and naina's he smiled looking at them.......

Sujal:- bahut achhi photos hai... agar meri family me se kisi ne dekha to unhe lagega ki main hun.....

Naina:- hmm... aap baithiye... aapke liye coffee laati hun.... (right then aalekh came...)...

Aalekh:- aa gaya tu.... naina apun ko bhi coffee chahiye....

Naina:- laati hun....

naina prepared the coffee and came with 3 mugs and all three then got settled....

sujal (having a sip):- aisi kya baat hai... jo mujhe yahan bulaya.... ?

aalekh:- wo sujal... ek gadbad ho gayi hai...

sujal:- gadbad... matalab....

naina went to her room and came back with a file and handed over to him...

aalekh:- yeh file padh... samajh aa jayega tujhe.....

sujal opened the file and read it out... his eyes poped out..... he got up from his place.....and then he flipped another page..... and read full content,.... that file slipped from his hand....

sujal:- nahi.... pls no......

aalekh:- yahi sach hai....

sujal sat back with thud... naina came and held him from left elbow... and sat by his side... and aalekh was at his right side....

naina:- sujal... aarmy wale bhi insaan hai... galti ho gayi... aur... humne abdul kaadir aur uski gang ko thoda easy le lia.... col shakti chandra... also wants to talk to you about it... par humne socha ki kyun na pehle hum hi.....

sujal (out of shock):- iska matalab... wo.... yeh,... matalab wo aadmi.... yeh piyush nahi.... sach me abdul kadir hai... aur humara piyush mar chuka hai... (he held his head in frustation.....) main... main meri family ko kya kahunga.... itna sab maine piyush ke liye kiya tha..... aur..... (shouting a bit...) hua kaise yeh.... ? aalekh... naina... yeh.....

Aalekh:- calm down.... apun batata hai..... sujal sab sahi chal raha tha.... hum to case bhi close karne wale the... par tujhe yaad hai... humare sath ek care taker tha....

sujal:- kaun...? wo chandar.....

Naina:- ha... wo spy tha... abdul kaadir ka aadmi...... (sujal was taken a back)......

Aalekh:- hua yeh ki... jab hospital me humne doc ko bol kar piyush ki body ko badalwaya tha..... tab tak piyush aur abdul kadir dono hi zinda the.... us spy ne hume col se bat karte sun lia... aur piyush ka gala daba ke maar dia... (sujal closed his eyes) documents ko badal dia... aur piyush ki jagah abdul kadir ko leta dia... aur fir humne bhi adla badli ki... is chakkar me... jise tu lekar gaya wo asli piyush tha... aur jise hum piyush samajh kar laaye wo abdul kaadir tha... aur wo sach me coma me hi tha... par chander ne hi... sari forensic reports change karwa di... aur khud army me as a spy rehne laga... wo tha to humare sath par wo abdul ke liye hi tha.... wo jyada tar samay abdul ke sath hi room me rehta tha... hume bhi shaq nahi hua us waqt... jo bhi report aati... wo use badal deta tha..... is tarah humne naa chahte hue bhi... piyush ki jagah abdul kadir ki jaan bachahi....

sujal:- par.... wo bachhe.. jinhe hostage kia tha.... ?

Naina:- sab planned tha..... aur yeh sab sirf ek insaan ke karan possible ho paya....

sujal:- kaun...?

Naina:- major general satya talwar... jo hume,,,, col shakti chandra ko lead kar rahe the... wahi gaddar nikle... sab unke ishaaro pe hua...... ab jab satya talwar ki pol khuli to pata chala ki kya kaand hua hai..... we are sorry sujal......

sujal:- jab humare desh ke log hi humare desh ko khokhla kar rahe hai... to kya fayda lad ke.... lekin... ab main kya karun.... (horrified) meri puri family itne din se ek terrorist ke sath... main... (he got up again and start panicking aalekh held him....)....

aalekh:- apun ki baat sun.... jald hi abdul kaadir ko hume pakadna hai... aur isiliye hume teri help chahiye....

sujal (shouted):- to jaao pakado na,.. wo mere ghar me hai... piyush ban kar... kahin usne....

aalekh:- wahi catch hai... usne khud ko piyush bana ka safe kar lia tha... par ab hume saboot chahiye... jo uske khilaf ho... aur saboot tu laayega.....

sujal:- matalab... tum log directly use nahi...?

Naina:- nahi kyuki... humen khud hi anjaane use piyush saabit kia tha... humne khud hi to sare saboot pesh kiye ki wo piyush hi hai.... humne khud apne pairo pe kulhadi mar li hai....aur wo apne kaale dhande aapke ghar se kar raha hai... sujal you remember... you said ki piyush ka kaam me man nahi lagta hai... business ki baat karo to use chakkar aata hai... wo isliye kyuki... wo piyush hai hi nahi... use business badhana nahi... atank faylana aata hai.......

sujal:- use piyush banne ki training kisne di... ? kyuki i am sure use ya uske aadmiyon ko us accident ke pehle to piyush ka pata bhi nahi tha....

aalekh:- usi spy chander ne... jab use hose aaya... uske bad se hi... chander most of the time uske sath rehta tha....

sujal:- par un do mahino me sabse jyada waqt tu aur ali the na cottage me uske sath , pooja bhi to thi..... to tum sab kya jhakk mar rahe the..... (aalekh got offended)..... kisne banaya tum logon ko army officer.... sale tujhe pata nahi chala ki wo itna bada game khel gaya......

naina held aalekh's hand....

aalekh:- dekh sujal... apun manta hai... apun aur ali dono se galti hui... par jab khud ka bhedi lanka dhaaye to koi kya kar sakta hai... chander... army days se hum sabke sath tha,.... hum us par trust karte the yar.... aur sala yahan tak ki servent bhi unka hi aadmi....

Naina:- ha... sujal.... chander par sirf hume hi nahi... col ko bhi trust tha... bas isi wajah se... aur usi ne piyush ki sari cheeze abdul kaadir sikhayi...

aalekh:- aur piyush aur teri baatein,,,, accident ki batien hum khud uske saamne karte the... kyuki hum khud use piyush hi samajh rahe the... piyush khud humare liye anzaan insaan tha... to hume kuchh awkward jaisa bhi nahi laga... bas yahi galti ho gayi....

sujal composed himself....

sujal:- sorry aalekh... jyada bol gaya main... par ab... karna kya hai.... i need that man out of my house at any cost..... main meri family ko khatre me nahi daal sakta hun...

naina:- thats why... humne aapko sabse pehle bulaya... kyuki,... hum abhi direct attack nahi kar sakte hai....

sujal:- mujhe karna kya hai.... ?

aalekh:- filhal... rishi ko khopche me le, ja kar sab kuchh bata de... par carefully... bhale hi eagle gang pakda gaya hai... par terrorist logo ke aur bhi gangs hote hai... unki nazar har waqt RnG house me hai... abdul piyush ban kar wahi se operate kar raha hai.... khatra bahut hai.... rishi ko bol us par nazar rakhe... par kuchh bhi obvious na lage... hum dono me koi bhi RnG house normally nahi aayega.... sirf dost ki tarah kabhi kabhi aayenge.... na ki army officer ki tarah.... uske khilaf saboot chahiye....

sujal:- uska DNA test karwa le to... sabit ho hi jayega.....

naina:- exactly... hume chori chupke... test karwana hoga... kyuki agar use pata chala to wo as usual report replace karwa dega..... aur use yeh pata chala ki hum logon ko uska sach pata hai.. to samajhiye sabki jaan khatre me hai....iske alawa ek aur khatra bhi hai.......

sujal:- kya.... ?

Naina:- election hai is month... hume doubts hai...khabar mili hai ki... dange ho sakte hai... abdul kadir ke kehne pe...... sleeper cells ke hone ki news mili hai.... hume precautions leni hogi...

aalekh:- ha... (looking at sujal).... sujal tujhe kya hua.... kya soch raha hai....?

sujal (lost in his thoughts):- kashish ke bare me.... (naina didn't like mention of her name from his mouth.... aalekh sence it.....)

aalekh:- kyun.... matalab ke....?

sujal:- aaj yahan aane se pehle... main kashish se mila... aur usne mujhe.......

then sujal narrates them everything whatever kashish shared with him.....

Naina;- OMG... wo ghatia aadmi kashish ka fayda.....

sujal:- how could i.....?

aalekh:- kyun... tune kya kia....?

sujal:- she was crying like hell... wo bar bar bol rahi thi... kuchh sahi nahi hai piyush ke sath,,.. par maine nahi vishwas kar pa raha tha... mujhe turant samajh jaana chahiye tha... jab usne kaha ki wo piyush nahi koi aadmi lagta hai use....

aalekh:- isme tera kaun sa fault hai... tujhe kashish ne aaj hi to bataya hai...... ( to naina) naina... apun ko lagta hai ki hume kashish ko sach bata dena chahiye taaki wo alert rahe....

Naina:- i can't trust kashish... kahin hum fas gaye to....

sujal:- aalekh is right naina... agar use pata hoga... to atleast wo is bhram me nahi rahegi ki wo insaan piyush hai.... kuchh bhi ho jaye.... is bar usne kashish pe haath uthaya hai, agar... kuchh ulta seedha,,, nahi... hume kashish ko sab batana hoga... and dont forget... kashish hi piyush yani abdul kadir ke sabse jyada kareeb rehti hai... wo hume saboot laake de sakti....

aalekh:- exactly... hume kashish ko confidence me lena hoga.... sujal... tu kashish se baat karega.......

sujal:- main... main kaise... i mean....

naina:- main baat karungi usse.... sujal... jitna hume pata hai... kashish ka phone trap ho raha hoga... aapka bhi... hum log is bare me phone pe kabhi bat nahi karenge.... galti se bhi hum sab ke muh se abdul kaadir ka naam nahi aana chahiye....

aalekh:- sujal tu aisa kar... kashish ko yahan bhej..... hum baat karenge usse..... (Sujal looked at naina... and naina assured him.....)...

sujal:- theek hai... sham tak i will try.... chalta hun main....

aalekh:- sujal... office me bhi directly baat mat karna... diwaron ke bhi kaan hote hai.. apun ko full doubt hai... uske aadmi tere office pe nazar rakhe honge....

sujal nods in yes and left from there.........
