the beginning

Tanda slept on the hard bed with wires on her as someone crept into her room. The man looked down at Tanda. His eyes horrified as he looked at the machine. He quietly brought out his sonic screwdriver and started hacking into the computer. The noise from it arousing Tanda, she looked up at the man and reeled back in surprise she opened her mouth but the man quickly noticed as he jumped over to her covering her mouth with his hand. "Koschei sent me." He whispered to her, "i'm trying to help you." Tanda's eyes widened slightly. Her brother sent this man? She blinked as her eyes got used to the darkness and looked over the man he had grey hair She nodded as he took his hand away from her mouth and he went back to looking at the machine. He soon found what he was looking for as the bonds on Tanda's hands released after he pressed a button."Who are you?" She whispered,"Im the Doctor." He whispered, as he helped her sit up. That made her eyes widen in more shock. Her brother had mentioned that he had a friend who decided his title would be the Doctor. "Can you walk?" He asked as she shifted her feet to the ground, as he removed the wires from her. "I think so." Tanda said as the Doctor took a step backward and held up his hand for her. She stood up and instantly her leg gave up from under her she threw her arm out to his and grasped it "Thats a no." The Doctor said as he held her up shifting her so her arm was around his shoulder before they walked forward into the hallway, where a blue police box was waiting. They walked towards it, the Doctor opening the door. Tanda's eyes widened as it was a Tardis. He brought her inside and sat her down in a chair before walking over to the controls and piloted the Tardis away. He looked down at the controls deep in thought."Where's Koschei?" Tanda asked,"Somewhere out in the universe looking for you...he sent me a distress message to help him find you." He said,"Are you going to take me to him? I can't stay on Gallifrey obviously." She said, the time lords being the people who kidnapped her to begin with. They'd probably just kidnap her again."Maybe, im thinking." The doctor said,  before looking up at Tanda. "I have a thought, i dont think youll like it." "Okay...?" Tanda said, "I dont think the time lords would stop looking for you, they were trying to make you into a weapon with the time vortex..."" I know what they did to me." Tanda said, "Theyll never stop looking for you. So we need to hide you." He said as he walked over to her and leaned down in front of her, "Im going to wipe your memories...""No!" Tanda said, "no chameleon arch.""Not that," the Doctor said, as he took her hands, " this is the only way to protect you, and prevent them from having the time vortex as a weapon, the civilizations that would suffer, Tanda." The doctor said"Then take me to Koschei he wont let that happen!" Tanda yelled and the Doctor let go of her hands. "Im not going to force you to do anything you dont want to do, i can't wipe your memory unless you are willing." He said as he stepped away from her and towards the controls. Tanda watched him go, she wondered how she could hijack his Tardis, send a message to Koschei to meet her. And leave before he even knew. But deep deep down she knew the Doctor was right that the time lords would never stop looking for her. Silent tears rolled down her face as she let out a sob, the doctor taking notice. "Tanda..." he said moving towards her once more"Tell my brother, tell my brother that I love him, and thank him for me for sending you after me. And that someday we may see each other again" she whispered, he nodded and she straightened " do it." She said letting down her mental guards as the doctor put his fingers to her face. She held onto her name and her brother for as long as possible before those details disappeared as well. And she slumped back into the chair conscious.

Authors note: i added a prologue hope you all enjoy. For those wondering this is before the Doctor and Susan left Gallifrey, i was thinking so hard on when to place this in the Doctors time line. First it was the fifth Doctor. Then it was the third.
