22:56, 29 December 2016After realising that we wouldn't find Stiles anywhere I followed the Sheriff, Scott and Isaac into the locker room. I leaned against the locker next to Isaac as my Uncle stood in front of us. "I got to meet with the medical examiner and try to figure out what happened with Jackson. I've got an APB out on Stiles. His jeep is still in the parking lot, so that means -" my uncle sighed as he dropped his hands. "hell, I don't know what that means." He muttered and I leaned my head against Scott's shoulder. "Um - look, if he answers his phone, if he answers his emails, if either of you see him -" Isaac interrupted my uncle by saying, "We'll call you."
"Look, he's probably just freaked out from all the attention or something. We'll find him." I tried to assure my uncle but deep down I knew that Gerard must have kidnapped him. "Yeah. I'll see you, okay?" My uncle turned to me so I nodded before giving him a hug. I moved away from Scott and to the Coach who was approaching us. "McCall. We need you on the team, okay? You know I can't put you on the field next season if you don't get your grades up." He said making Scott nod, "Yeah, I know, coach."
"All right. I mean, I - I know I yell a lot, but it's not like I hate you guys. Well, I kind of hate Greenberg, but, you know, that's different. It's Greenberg. I'm just saying we - I need you on the team. Get your grades back up." He said before walking off, leaving us standing in the locker room on our own. "Is that everyone?" Scott asked so I nodded. "I think so." Isaac mumbled before Scott ripped a locker door off. "You're gonna find him by scent?" Isaac asked. "Yeah, we all are." Scott answered, throwing me a t-shirt. "But how come she gets his shirt and I get a shoe?" Isaac asked, looking at Stiles's shoe with a frown. I sensed Derek presence so I turned around to see him standing in the locker room with Peter. I moved away from Peter but held eye contact with Derek.
"We need to talk." Derek stated. "All of us." Peter added. "Holy sh -" Scott nearly swore when Peter came into sight for him as well. "What the hell is this?" Scott asked, turning to me but I shrugged. "You know, I thought the same thing when I saw you talking to Gerard at the sheriff's station." Derek answered coldly. "Okay, hold on. He - he threatened to kill my mom. And I had to get close to him. What was I supposed to do?" Scott defended himself. "I'm gonna go with Scott on this one. Have you seen his mom? She's gorgeous." He threw his head back as I crinkled my nose. Derek and Scott then both told Peter to shut up. Isaac tapped my shoulder so I turned my attention to him. "Who is he?" He asked me, his voice laced with confusion. "That's Peter, Derek's Uncle. Little while back, he tried to kill us all, and then we set him on fire, and Derek slashed his throat." Scott explained so Peter raised his hand, "Hi."
"That's good to know. "How is he alive?" Isaac asked so I turned to Derek. "Look, the short version is he knows how to stop Jackson. And maybe how to save him." I crossed my arms and stepped a tiny bit closer to Derek. "Well, that's very helpful except Jackson's dead." I muttered. "What?" Derek asked in shock. "Yeah, Jackson's dead. It just happened on the field." Scott agreed so Derek and Peter shared a few glances. "Okay, why is no one taking this as good news?" Isaac asked. "Because if Jackson is dead, it didn't just happen. Gerard wanted it to happen." Peter exclaimed as I glared at him. "But why?" Derek asked. "Well, that's exactly what we need to figure out. And something tells me the window of opportunity is closing. Quickly." Peter said, looking at me, making me feel very uneasy. Derek noticed and pulled me closer to him, somehow that action calmed me down. "Come on." Peter said as he walked out the door. For some reason we all followed him.
Derek drove us to his old house. "Oh, they found Stiles." Scott told me, making me feel extremely relieved. "I told you, I looked everywhere." Derek told Peter who just shook his head. "You didn't look here." He crouched down and lifted a stair. "What is that, a book?" Derek asked. "No. It's a laptop. What century are you living in? A few days after I got out of the coma, I transferred everything that we had. Fortunately, the Argents aren't the only ones that keep records." Peter took a box out of the stair and moved towards the only piece of furniture left, a table with a chair. Scott's phone rang so he stood still whilst Isaac and I followed Peter and Derek. "Hey, mom, I can't talk right now." Scott spoke into his phone. Melissa said something and Scott's face fell. "What's wrong?" He asked.
"We have to leave. Something is happening to Jackson. And my Mom doesn't know what to do." Scott announced so Isaac and I got ready to follow him out but Derek stopped me by holding onto my shoulder. "You're staying here. We don't know what's happening to him. So stay." He didn't let go when Scott and Isaac left. "Fine. But let go of me." I huffed but Derek didn't let go. Instead he threw his arm over my shoulder and pulled me closer to him. "How come you let her touch you? But you literally threw me across the room when I put my hand on your shoulder?" Peter asked as I smirked in victory. Derek just rolled his eyes before calling Scott. I leaned my head against Derek and tried to stay away from Peter as possible. I nervously picked at my sleeve, waiting for Scott to update us on Jackson's state. (Outfit at the top or side)
"They say he's in some kind of transparent casing made from the venom coming out of his claws." Derek repeated, the phone still pressed against his ear whilst his other arm was still holding onto me. "That sounds sufficiently terrifying." Peter muttered, his eyes fixated on the Laptop screen. "They also say he's starting to move." Derek added. "Okay, look, I think I found something. Looks like what we've seen from Jackson is just the kanima's beta shape." Peter stated as I move around him to see the Laptop. "Well, meaning what? It can turn into something bigger?" I asked with furrowed eyebrows. "Bigger and badder." Peter nodded. "He's turning into that? That has wings." I muttered, staring at the monster on the screen. "I can see that." Peter answered. "Scott, bring him to us." Derek called down the phone. "Look, somebody actually made an animation of it. Maybe it's less frightening if we -" Peter turned to me and clicked some button. "Nope, not at all." Peter and I jumped away from the screen, causing Derek to tighten his grip on my upper arm. "We should probably meet them halfway." I suggested. "Scott, get him out of there now - go now." Derek said before hanging up and rushing me to his car.
"Derek, we need Lydia." Peter warned before we could get into the car. "There's no time for -" Peter interrupted Derek, "That's the problem. We're rushing. We're moving too fast. And while everybody knows that a moving target is harder to hit, here we are, racing right into Gerard's crosshairs."
"If I get the chance to kill Jackson, I'm taking it." Derek stated simply before getting into the car. I hurriedly got in as well. We parked the car further away and Peter quickly hid as I followed Derek who started running and did a flip in the air whilst I just jogged up to Scott, Isaac and Chris. I growled at Chris but he quickly put his hand up in surrender. "I'm here for Jackson. Not you." Chris pointed at Derek and I. "Somehow, I don't find that very comforting." Derek spat before turning to Scott, "Get him inside." He ordered so I helped with getting Jackson inside. "Where are they?" Scott asked. "Who?" Derek asked, stepping over Jackson's body bag. "Peter and Lydia. Whoa, hold on a second. You said you knew how to save him." Scott tried to stop Derek from opening the body bag. "We're past that." Derek barked.
"What about -" Scott started. "Think about it, Scott. Gerard controls him now. He's turned Jackson into his own personal guard dog. And he set all of this in motion so that Jackson could get even bigger and more powerful." Derek groaned but Chris interfered. "No. No, he wouldn't do that. If Jackson's a dog, he's turning rabid, and my father wouldn't let a rabid dog live." He stated making me sigh. This was getting ridiculous. "Of course not. Anything that dangerous, that out of control - Is better off dead." Gerard came out of nowhere and I flinched at his presence, Derek quickly stood in front of me. "Well done to the last, Scott. Like the concerned friend you are, you brought Jackson to Derek to save him. You just didn't realize that you were also bringing Derek to me." I wanted to step in front of Derek but it was too late, Allison came out of nowhere and shot him. I growled. "Allison?" Scott called out in surprise. I quickly dragged Derek somewhere safe to get the arrow out of him. And from there on everything kind of escalated. Isaac was stabbed by Allison multiple times, Jackson took Chris's gun and I got kicked against a wall as soon as I came out of my hiding spot with Derek. Allison was about to do something when Jackson wrapped his hand around her neck. I crouched down to Derek who got hurt again. I wrapped his arms around my shoulder so he could sit up. "No, Allison!" Scott called. "Not yet, sweetheart." Gerard smirked and Allison gulped. "What are you doing?" Allison breathed out. "He's doing what he came here to do." Scott answered. "Then you know." Gerard stated. "What's he talking about?" Allison asked me but I just shrugged, trying to hold up Derek.
"It was the night outside the hospital, wasn't it, when I threatened your mother. I knew I saw something in your eyes. You could just smell it, couldn't you?" Gerard chuckled so I sniffed. "He's dying." I looked "I am. I have been for a while now. Unfortunately, science doesn't have a cure for cancer yet. But the supernatural does." Gerard chuckled and it was terrifying so I clung onto Derek. "You monster." Chris growled at his father. "Not yet." Gerard protested as Jackson tightened his hand around Allison's neck, "What are you doing?" She asked panicky. "You'll kill her too?" Chris asked in disbelief. "When it comes to survival, I'd kill my own son! Scott." Gerard yelled. "Scott, don't. You know that he's gonna kill me right after. He'll be an Alpha." Derek breathed. "That's true. But I think he already knows that, don't you, Scott? He knows that the ultimate prize is Allison. Do this small task for me, and they can be together. You and your stupid daughter are the only pieces that don't fit, Derek. And in case you haven't learned yet, there is just no competing with young love." I could literally feel my heart break. "Scott, don't! Don't!" I yelled as he took Derek away from me. "I'm sorry. But I have to." Scott apologised as tears sprung to my eyes. Scott forced Derek's jaw open and closed it around Gerard's arm. Gerard screamed out in pain before Scott dropped Derek. I gasped and Derek moved away from Gerard whilst I kneeled in front of him, ready to fight for his life. "What? What is this? What did you do?" Gerard cried as black liquid came out of his arm. I cringed and turned to a surprised Derek. "Everyone said Gerard always had a plan. I had a plan too." Scott smirked. "No. No." Gerard cried. "Mountain ash!" He then yelled, crushing his tablets in his hand. "Why didn't you tell me?" Derek asked. "Because you might be an Alpha, but you're not mine." Scott turned to Derek as I avoided any kind of eye contact with Scott.
"Kill them! Kill them all!" Gerard yelled before falling to the floor. I furrowed my eyebrows before standing up.
Suddenly Stiles's Jeep came barging into the hall and right into Jackson. "Did I get him?" He asked breathlessly as I smiled at my cousin. Jackson jumped onto the hood of Stiles car making him scream and scramble out of it, towards Scott and I. "Jackson! Jackson." Lydia screached as she held a key in front of his face. "Lydia" Stiles warned but Scott held him back.
Jackson and Lydia stared at each other whilst Jackson became partly human again, "Do you - do you still -" He stuttered and Lydia nodded with tears streaming down her flawless face. "I do. I do still love you. I do, I do still love you. I do. I do. I do still love you, I do." She kept repeating whilst his head fell onto her shoulder. "Where's Gerard?" Allison asked. "He can't be far." Chris simply answered as I felt a familiar hand on my shoulder. Derek had put his hand on my shoulder. I turned to him and he smiled at me, I went to smile back but his face was suddenly filled with an emotion I couldn't quite put my finger on. He then ran towards Jackson after he head nodded and stuck his claws into Jackson's stomach whilst Peter stuck his claws into Jackson's back. Lydia sobbed out loudly and I went to hug her but Jackson got back up, but this time in Werewolf form. My eyes widened as I shared a glance with Isaac. I then turned to Stiles who sniffled, so I furrowed my eyebrows at him, "Scratched my jeep." He mumbled before walking off.
"I'm sorry." Scott said as he sat down on my bed next to me. "You don't have to say you're sorry." I shook my head. "I do. I have to for what I did and what I said. For everything. Especially for using your trust. And for the thing with Alisson." He said as I furiously wiped a tear away. "Scott, I'm trying to break up with you." I croaked out. "I know. And it's okay." He smiled as I furrowed my eyebrows, "How is that okay?" I asked and he shrugged. "Because I can wait. And then I can show you that I love you. Not Allison." He assured me.
"I don't want you to do that. I can't." I muttered. "I know we're gonna be together." He refered to Fate, making me shake my head. "There's no such thing as fate." I sniffed and he tilted his head to the side. "There's no such thing as werewolves." Scott kissed my forehead before getting up and leaving, walking past Derek who then sat on my bed and put his arm around me. "First heartbreak?" He asked and I nodded, sniffling into his chest.
I eventually fell asleep, kind of in Derek's arms. But when I woke up the next morning I was lying under my blanket, fully clothed but comfortable. I sighed and rubbed my eyes which was a mistake seeing as I still had mascara on my eyelashes. I groaned and moved into the bathroom where I looked at myself in the mirror. I was a mess. My hair was all over the place and so was my mascara. I quickly took all of my clothes off and jumped into the shower where I brushed my hair, teeth, scrubbed my body and my face before getting back out and changed.
Someone knocked on my door so I opened it whilst I pulled my beanie over my dried and straightened hair. I froze as soon as I saw Peter standing in front of me. "Come on. I'm you're great uncle. Derek, Isaac and I want to show you something." He tilted his head so I sighed and followed him down the stairs to where Isaac and Derek were waiting. Isaac smiled at me sympathetically so I gave him a small smile back. For some unknown reason we drove to Derek's old house where we found a sign on the door.
"You haven't told them everything yet, have you?" Peter asked as I silently stared at the door. "What do you mean?" Isaac asked and Peter leaned onto a tree. "Why do you think Derek was in such a hurry to build his pack? So eager to strengthen his power and his number? When there's a new Alpha, people take notice." He explained. "People like who? What is this? What does this mean?" Isaac asked. "It's their symbol. And it means they're coming." Derek joined in the conversation so I decided to do the same. "Who?" I questioned. "Alphas." Derek simply answered. "More than one?" Isaac asked. "A pack of them." Derek answered and I shivered. "An Alpha pack. And they're not coming. They're already here." Peter smirked and I frowned. Great.

^^^||| So that's where I get my Transcripts from :). Thanks for reading. The third book is going to take a lot longer seeing as it has about 24 Episodes but I might publish the chapters separately so you can read it part by part and not all at once...if that makes sense?1
