I sat on the floor and tried to wake him up but nothing was helping. Someone touched my shoulder and I spun around, ready to attack. Deaton put his hands in front of him to grab my shoulders so I couldn't scratch his eyes out or something. "You called me, don't worry." I sighed and turned back into human form. "I'm sorry." I apologised, stressfully running a hand through my still curly hair.

Deaton kneeled down and leaned over Derek. "Derek - Can you hear me? Derek - Can you hear me? I need you to answer me, Derek. Derek!" Deaton got out a dog whistle and told me to cover my ears so I did."We don't have much time." Deaton shook Derek who then slowly woke up. "That sound - What was it?" He asked as I helped him sit up. Deaton showed Derek his dog whistle. "You're gonna be weak for several hours." Deaton warned Derek as he tried to get up but failed by stumbling.

"It actually happened." Derek muttered. "Don't worry. You're still an Alpha. But, as usual, not a particularly competent one." Deaton explained as I kneeled down so Derek could lean onto me. "Where is he?" Derek asked. "I wish I could tell you." Derek sighed and I could sense Derek getting mad as he tried to stand up. I took his arm and pulled him up properly. "Then how about you tell me what you're doing here, and why you're helping me." Derek spat and I pinched his side. "Helping your family actually used to be a pretty important part of my life. Helping you was a promise I made to your mother." Deaton retorted and Derek kind of sunk back. "You're the one my sister talked about. She said you're a - kind of advisor?" Derek questioned and Deaton nodded. "She was right. And I have some advice that you need to listen to very closely right now. What Peter managed to do doesn't come without a price. He'll be physically weak, so he'll rely on the strength of his intelligence, his cunning. He's gonna come at you, Derek. He'll try to twist his way inside your head, preying on your insecurities. He'll tell you that he's the only way you can stop Gerard. Do not trust him." Deaton warned Derek. "I don't trust anyone." Derek coldly stated and I felt a pang in my chest. "I know. If you did, you might be the Alpha you like to think you are. And unfortunately, the one person you should trust doesn't trust you at all. And one person who does trust you with her life, you obviously don't trust." Deaton glanced at me and I looked at the floor, still holding on to Derek's arm to stabilise him.

"You mean Scott." Derek stated and Deaton nodded. "He's with Stilinski right now. You need to find him, you need to find him as fast as you can. I've known Gerard for a long time. He always has a plan. Something tells me - it's going exactly the way he wants it to." Deaton packed all of his stuff and left. "Help me to the loft." Derek demanded so I sighed and we started the walk to the loft. "Derek this is ridiculous. How about you wait here. I get the car and drive you home. I change and we go and look for Scott and Stiles." I suggested and Derek glared at me. "Trust me. Okay. For once." I hissed and he sighed before nodding. So I carefully sat him down and sprinted home.

I got the car and drove back. On the way back I saw Derek walking. I beeped the horn and he fell over from the fright. I covered my mouth before rushing out of the car to help him. "Are you serious?!" He growled and I sighed. "You're the one who doesn't trust me so stop whining and get in the damn car." I barked back, leaving him to get into the car by himself. As soon as he got into the car I sped back to the loft.

Derek was completely silent on the way back. I got out of the car, threw him the keys and ran up the stairs to change.

I wiped my make up off and tied my, not so curly hair anymore, up into an easy ponytail. I changed my earrings and took my wrist watch off before running back down the stairs, grabbing my leather Jacket and pulling it over my baggy gray jumper.

"You stay in the car okay?" Derek looked at me and I furrowed my eyebrows. "Derek. I'm here to help. I can fight, I can run and I can bite. Just because I'm a girl doesn't mean that I can't do the things you can." I growled and he briefly closed his eyes. "That's not what I'm saying. I-I...I don't want you to get hurt." He sighed and my facial expression softened. "I'll give you a sign to come inside ok? If you don't hear anything in ten minutes come in but ne careful." Derek said and I agreed, sitting back and listening closely to a sign from Derek.

After about 10 minutes I got worried and got out of the car quietly. I silently entered the police station and found dead police officers lying on the floor. My breath hitched as I quietly snuck around a corner to see Derek and Stiles lying on the floor, paralysed. My eyes widened as Matt stood over them which meant that Jackson was here somewhere. Derek and I made short eye contact when we heard a car drive up. I quickly hid as Derek turned to Scott. "Is that her? Do what I tell you to and I won't hurt her. I won't even let Jackson near her." Matt snickered and Stiles frantically shook his head. "Scott, don't trust him!" He yelled and Matt put his foot on Stiles chest, pushing down so that his breathing was getting difficult. I was about to attack when Derek coughed, signaling for me to stay put. "This better for ya?" Matt growled at Scott. "Okay, just stop! Stop!" Scott yelled until Matt took his foot off Stiles who then heavily coughed. "Then do what I tell you to." Matt ordered and Scott nodded. "Okay. All right." He agreed so Matt turned to Jackson who I hadn't even noticed. "You, take 'em in there. You - with me." He pointed the gun at Scott who then walked towards the door as I crept around the corner. Derek coughed again so I jumped into a kind of closet. "You scared me, where is every -" Melissa stopped when she noticed someone holding a gun at Scott's head. "Mom, just do what he says. He promised he wouldn't hurt you." Scott told his Mum calmly. "He's right." Matt said before shooting Scott in the chest. It took me every inch of self control not to jump out and kill Matt. "Scott! Stiles! What happened?" I heard the sheriff call and I could smell the worry coming off him.

"But I didn't say I wouldn't hurt you." Matt snickered and Melissa stepped towards her son. "Wait, baby -" she tried to help Scott but Matt pointed the gum at her. "Back, back!" He yelled as I flinched at his tone. "Mom, mom, stop, mom!" Scott shouted and Matt raised his eyebrows. "I said get back!" He yelled. "Scott." Melissa whimpered. "Mom, do it. Please, mom." Scott pleaded so Matt turned to Scott. "Get up, McCall." He ordered so Scott got up and followed his Mum and Matt somewhere. "Matt? Matt, listen to me -" My uncle tried to reason with Matt. "Shut - shut - shut up! Everybody shut the hell up!" Matt yelled. "Please, he needs to see a doctor." Melissa cried and Matt snickered "You think so?".

"Hey, hey, you listen to me!" Sheriff yelled and then I heard Scott's voice, "It's all right. I'm okay." He tried to calm his Mum down.

"No, honey, you're not okay." She cried and I felt terrible. "It doesn't hurt, mom." Scott told her. "'Cause that's the adrenaline, okay? Please, let me - let me just take a look at him, okay? I mean, I can help stop the bleeding." Melissa pleaded. "They have no idea, do they?" Matt asked. "Please. Let me just take a quick look. I -" Melissa was just going to get someone killed. "Shut - shut - shut - shut up! Lady, if you keep talking, I'm gonna put the next bullet through his head." Matt yelled and I breathed in as Melissa finally shut up. "Back to the front, McCall." Matt ordered and so they walked back to the front. "After you." Scott said. "The evidence is gone. Why don't you just go?" Scott asked and I needed to sneeze really badly. "You - you think the evidence mattered that much, huh? No, no, I - I want the book." Matt sneered and I furrowed my eyebrows. "What - what book?" Scott stammered. "The bestiary. Not just a few pages, I want the entire thing." Matt told Stiles, Scott and Derek. "I don't have it. It's Gerard's. What do you want it for, anyway?" He asked.

"I need answers." Matt whispered and Scott tilted his head to the side. "Answers to what?" He asked and I tried to get a closer look to what Matt showed the guys. "Hey. You know what's happening to Matt?" Stiles whispered to Derek as soon as Matt and Scott left. "I know, the book's not gonna help him. You can't just break the rules, not like this." Derek muttered. "What do you mean?" Stiles asked. "Universe balances things out. Always does." Derek said and I smiled, remembering when Derek told me stuff like that. "Is it because he's using Jackson to kill people who don't deserve it?" Stiles asked. "And killing people himself." Derek answered and Stiles sighed. "So if Matt breaks the rules of the kanima, he becomes the kanima?" Stiles asked and I bit my lip.

"Will he believe us if we tell him that?" Stiles asked and I shook my head. "Not likely." Derek breathed out and I quietly opened the closet door, checking if I could see anything or anyone. "Okay, he's gonna kill all of us when he gets that book, isn't he?" Stiles asked and then he looked up to see me. I quickly signalled for him to shut up. "Yep." Derek simply answered as he moved his head as a sign to tell me to get out. "All right, so what do we do? Do we just - do we just sit here and wait to die?" Stiles asked. "Unless I can figure out a way to push the toxin out of my body faster. Like triggering the healing process." Derek groaned before digging his claws into his thighs.

"What is this? What is this? What's happening? What's going on?" Matt yelled as all of the window shattered. I yelped and covered my head, kneeling down next to Derek to protect him as well. "I don't know." Scott shouted back.

Scott came running into the room and looked between Derek and Stiles. "Take him!" He yelled. And as I hesitated he yelled, "Go!". So I helped Scott carry Stiles somewhere else. "Don't move." Scott sat Stiles down, who then gave him a look. "You know what I mean." Scott muttered before leaving and locking the door after me. He grabbed my hand and I walked after him. "Oh, sh - Allison." I came to a halt as she held a crossbow to our head. I raised my hands and she put the crossbow down. "Where's Derek?" She spat and I shook my head. "What are you doing?" Scott asked, panick evident in his voice. "If you're not going to tell me, then get out of my way." Allison moved her head but I stood my ground. "Allison." I warned. "Where is he?" She asked and Scott tried to reason with her. "What happened?" He asked. "Scott - Lucia, you need to stay away from me right now. I need to go. Just stay out of my way." She barked, running off. I was about to run after her but Scott stopped me.

We ran into the room where Melissa and my uncle were kept in. The sheriff was lying on the floor with a wound on his head. I saw Stiles and pulled him out of the way to make sure that no one would hurt him. He panicked until he saw me. I gave him a reassuring nod before sticking my claws into Jackson's back to pull him off the prison bars Melissa was stuck behind. Jackson then attacked Scott and Melissa gasped. "Oh, God, Scott? Scott, you okay? Scott? No!" Sh whimpered as she saw Scott and me in our werewolf state. Derek eventually came running in and managed to knock the canima out. I ran after Scott and we accidently bumped into Gerard.

"What are you doing here? It wasn't supposed to happen like this." Scott freaked out as I crouched away from Gerard like a scared puppy. "Trust me, I'm aware of that." Gerard muttered. "I've done everything that you've asked of me. I'm part of Derek's pack, I've given you all the information that you wanted, I told you Matt was controlling Jackson -" Scott explained and Gerard put his hand up. "Then leave him to us. Help your friends. Leave Matt and Jackson to me. Deal with your mother. Go!" He yelled and Scott bent down to pick up something. "You dropped this." Scott gave it to Gerard before he ran off. I just stood there frozen and Gerard yelled, "Go!" at me. I jumped and ran off.
