Chapter 28

Tiana's POV

Marcel and I went inside their family lake house and I took a short shower since I brought my bag from Toronto so I still have clothes to wear. When I came out of the shower, drying my hair and wearing my bathrobe, I then saw Marcel placing a thin blanket and a flat pillow on the floor leaving the thick and fluffy blankets and pillows on the bed.

"What are you doing?" I asked as Marcel straightened the blankets.

"I'm preparing for bed." he said fluffing up his flat pillow.

"You're gonna sleep there? On the floor?" I said as he smiled and nodded.

"Yes. You sleep on the bed. I want my girl friend to sleep as comfortable as ever." he said as I blushed.

"Heyy, sleep with me on the bed. It's okay, really. Besides, it's really cold here. You might freeze there." I said as he smiled and shook his head.

"No, really, I'm fine." he said and then came closer to me, holding me on my hips. "I'm fine okay? I love you." he said and left a soft kiss on my lips.

"Okay if you say so." I said. "Close your eyes, I'm gonna change my clothes. No peeking!" I added as he picked up his towel and walked inside the bathroom.

"Eyes closed and for the meantime, I'll be in the shower," he said, covering his eyes as I smiled and started changing.

I wore my white t-shirt and some faded pink cottony pajama pants to sleep more comfortably and then tied my hair up into a messy bun. I then sat on the bed and placed a pillow on my thighs and reached out to get my phone and check on it. I then saw 3 messages popping on my notifications. 3 messages from Alison and 1 from Miss Hiddleston.

I first read Miss Hiddleston's message.

Good evening Tiana,

First of all, congratulations again for winning the speech-debate competition. You brought pride to our school and I am very proud of you. I'm glad you didn't fail me.

Second, I would like to inform you that I have canceled your suspension and have it erased on your student records to cleanse it up for your college applications sooner. That's what you get for accomplishing your task on winning the competition.

As the school principal, I must say, you are one of my best students here. And I am proud to say that. Congratulations again! :)

Wow. That's some great news to know your school principal's proud of you. It's kind of flattering for me though. So I decided to reply to her with a thank you, even if it's late now.

After reading Miss Hiddleston's message, I then read Alison's messages.

OMG! YOU AND MARCEL GOT TOGETHER??

From: Alison <3 8:42pm

GREAT JOB! So when are you telling him that you're fake dating him?

From: Alison <3 8:50pm

LOL I can't wait to see my best friend dating a nerd in vests and glasses! HAHA

Nerd in vests and glasses? Oh, yeah. I forgot she went to Mexico for some scouting stuff in the Girl Scout council since she's the scout leader. So basically, I guess she doesn't know that Marcel has changed his looks.

I told you hon, I'm not fake dating him okaay? Oh and I got you the makeup though. Stay safe there okay?

LOL Right babe as if a gal like you would like a creature like him lmaooo hahaha! Anyway, I gotta go. It's still 5:20pm here in Mexico. Catch you later! Mwahmwah! xx

Okay so basically she doesn't believe me that Marcel has changed--- in a better way and how I am not really fake dating him. I love Marcel and I never even agreed to fake date him in the first place.

Before I could even turn off my phone, there I saw Marcel, coming out from the shower, drying his hair with a towel and wearing only a bigger towel wrapped around his waist showing off his-- muscular body??

"What?" Marcel said as I shook my head, zoning back after staring at him.

"U-Uhm, nothing. It's just that you look--- different." I said trying to keep my eyes away from his abs as he chuckled and wore his white shirt and faded blue pajama pants.

"I used to work out with Gemma every summer." he said as I nodded awkwardly.

"Oh, that explains the-- body structure." I said as he chuckled, went closer, sat on the bed with me and stared deeply into my eyes.

"You have beautiful eyes." he said softly with his voice deep and raspy.

"Not to mention your emerald green eyes, Styles." I said as he smirked and was about to lean it to kiss me until-- my phone beeped.

Oh and, don't worry babe I'll tell him for you ;) x.

What the hell Alison?

"Who's that, Tiana?" Marcel said as I quickly turn my phone off and grinned at him.

"Nothing, it's nothing," I said as he furrowed his eyebrows.

"Are you sure?" he said giving me a suspicion look as I just laughed and gave him a long passionate kiss.

"It was nothing okay?" I said after pulling away, cupping his cheeks. "Now, let's go to sleep. You sleep here in the bed with me." I added as he shook his head.

"No, I want you to be comfortable." he said.

"Hon, I want to cuddle to sleep with you. I'm still tired from the 7 hour flight so at least give me a warm snuggle to bed for me to get completely relaxed." I said, pouting as he furrowed his eyebrows, looking down, thinking.

"Uhm.."

"Yes. Look, your skin's getting cold. Come here and lie down with me." I said, lying down as he lied down beside me as well.

I then turned on my side to face him as he pulled the covers over our chest and placed his arm over my waist.

"Come on, let's go to sleep." he said "I'd love to end every day with this. Good night Tiana, I love you." he added, slowly closing his eyes as I smiled and planted a soft kiss on his lips.

"Good night, Marcel. I love you more." I replied as he smiled knowing I was the one who said "I love you more" to him.

After a few moments, we then slowly drifted off to sleep until my phone beeped again.

HEY BABE! I guess you're sleeping now but I just wanna let you know that I'm coming back soon. See you and your nerd boyfriend HAHA ;) Mwahmwah! xx.
