06: SKELETONS IN THE CLOSET 03
23:52, 28 August 2024"It's a good thing I didn't practice law. I don't think my stomach is strong enough to twist the law to protect my mother's trashy secret nor do can I sentence them life-time imprisonment for the right justice her victims deserve!"

06: SKELETONS IN THE CLOSET 3
Cheong-ah High. . .
I entered the school in a long hair wig and weird glasses that could move up, and a jersey that looked odd.
It's not your typical school teacher in a prestigious school, but I really don't care about that. I started observing this very prestigious school. Some late students are being punished, and some are not.
The not punished students are obvious, and the punished students are also obvious.
This school is an example of how dirty rich people truly are.
I saw Joo Seok-hoon from afar. He's helping a female student jump the wall to not be caught.
'I guess I'll turn a blind eye to that.'
After helping her, he returned to his car and went inside the school without a problem.
Another late student is Ha eun Byeol. She didn't even need to show her face. The guard just let her in without checking the student.
I followed her and saw her sleepily walk inside the classroom.
"She's an odd one."
. . . . .
Eun-bi pov:
I kept my head laid on the table, sleeping peacefully. Seok-hoon's odd action that night made me sleepless for days.
'He can't start liking me!'
'Not when my sister likes him too.'
I was still half-asleep, thinking of Seok-hoon's kiss on my eyelids that night when the classroom became so noisy.
My brow wrinkled at the noise. It's obvious what is going on but caring about every bullying in a school like this is a waste of time.
I have no interest in meddling in problems that are not related to me.
I already have too much on my plate.
I kept my head down despite the noise, but it got even noisier.
Something about Bae Rona living in Min seol-ah's old building.
'What's so wrong about that one! Kids here are overly dramatic.'
I wouldn't get up if the noise didn't rise higher. However, it is as if God really wants me to get involved.
'Why won't children in Korea grow up!'
'Well, I'm not exactly one to talk!!'
I kicked my table where I was just laying my head down.
'My manager's going to kill me if my foot gets injured.'
I looked at them from my seat.
They all quieted down as I glared at the girls who were surrounding Bae Rona.
"Aissshhh!! Look what you did to my table!"
I walked toward them. The bullies start to step back as I continue to step forward.
I positioned my feet on Rona's table and kicked it in their direction.
"That's another table you destroyed!"
I turned to them, glaring at them with an empty expression.
"Throw it!"
"What?"
"That dirty table and the table you just kicked! Throw it into the trash!"
"You kicked it after all!"
"What?. . ."
"why?"
"Am I wrong?"
"uh. . . ."
"Why? Are you not the one who kicked it?"
"Who kicked it then?"
"Did I perhaps. . . ."
"NO!!!"
"We kicked it!"
"Y. . . yeah. . . we're at fault!"
"then. . . . who should throw it then?"
"uuhhh. . . . us. . . We'll throw it!"
The boys started carrying the tables and running outside to throw the tables.
"ahh!"
The boys stopped carrying the tables, and the girls following them also stopped walking away.
"Since you kicked it, you should take responsibility and be sure to use your own pockets to buy a new one, right?"
'Well, it's not like they really will be the one buying the tables."
"If I don't have my own table by tomorrow, It will be my turn to kick you, Arasso!!"
I left the room with my bag hanging behind my chair.
"Tell the teachers my head aches so much that I can't attend the class, okay?"
I smiled at the scared girls and left with a smile.
. . . . .
Joo seok-hoon pov:
I smiled at the scene she created.
They way she defended Rona without looking like she's on her side made her look alluring.
I watch her use the other door to walk away.
'That is definitely not HA EUN BYEOL.'
My sister nudged me as my eyes followed Eun-byeol, who was walking away.
"hmmm?"
She eyed me, then turned to Rona.
'Are we really going to do that?'
I sighed deeply and then walked toward Rona, who looked shocked by what had just happened.
I tried to call her name, but she wouldn't answer.
'The one who got hurt was Eun-byeol, but the one who looked shocked is this girl?'
I wanted to smirk, but I kept it inside as I tried to call her name more softly.
"Bae rona! Bae rona!"
She faced me with an absent look.
"Are you okay? Should I bring you to the clinic?"
"No thanks. I'll be fine."
"If you say so."
I smile at her. I see the red blush near her ears, so I smile even wider.
'Looks like this is going to be easy!'
I also want to see this Eun-byeol jealous. If she ever gets jealous, it would mean she has some feelings for me, but with how she acts, I don't think that would be possible.
Pitting Rona and Eun-byeol against each other would be impossible with this Eun-byeol. If it comes down to a choice, Eun-byeol will probably toss me to Rona instead.
. . . .
Gu ho dong pov:
I smiled as I watched her kick ass in the classroom.
She really doesn't disappoint.
'She's definitely the one I'm looking for!'
'Ha Eun-bi, known as NABI, the young prima ballerina. She's already a well-respected ballerina who won the hearts of many with her beautiful dancing. She won 2 international ballet competitions, both very prestigious, and secured a position as a famous ballerina.'
'Not only that, she also owns her own company separate from Cheong-ah group. A multi-billionaire that no one knows of yet.'
I scratched my head with the scratching stick that I had brought with me and followed her to the clinic.
. . . . .
I heard her wince as she massaged her foot.
"I'm going to break their bones if something happens to my feet!"
"My manager is going to kill me!!"
I forced myself not to laugh as she blamed her classmates for her aching feet. It is true, though, that it must hurt, even more so for a ballerina like her.
"Should I help you out!"
"OH MY GOSH!!"
She jumped out of bed in shock as I appeared in front of her.
"Do I look like a monster to you?"
"Why do you look so shocked?"
"Have you ever seen yourself in the mirror?"
She looked at me warily.
"Who are you?"
'She has enough sense not to trust people. That's good, I guess.'
"Ah! I'm sorry. I'm Gu Ho Dong, your P.E. teacher."
"P.E.? Physical education?"
"Do we even need one?"
"That hurts my pride! Even prima need to be physically fit."
"What?"
"You're the future primadonna of this school, right?"
"Huh?"
"I heard you sing on the opening! It was quite something! I've never heard of a better soprano than you!"
"Ah! No! That's not true!"
"Anyway, thank you for your offer. I'll just. . . rest here!"
"You are a good student!"
"What?"
"What you did earlier, it wasn't so bad."
"Ahh. . . they were just. . . too noisy."
"If all students are just like you, no one will be suffering. . ."
I whispered my last sentence and smiled at her.
. . . .
Eun-bi pov:
I rested well enough here in the clinic. When I woke up, a chocolate juice box was beside me, with a thank you note stuck on it.
I stretched my body and saw the fruit on the bedside.
"Apple."
An apple and chocolate.
"Thank you so much for the treat."
I wiped the apple and took a bite on it, then I stuck the straw on the chocolate box and enjoyed the chocolate milk.
After finishing the meal, I threw it and left the clinic.
The teacher that I met earlier bothered me because he's not usually the type of teacher my great mother would hire.
"How did he get in?"
"Back doored?"
"Oh well!" I shrug my thoughts.
I have no time to think of teachers who want to play with money and be dogs of people like Cheon Seo-jin.
While walking to the parking lot, someone pulled my arm into a narrow alley of the school.
"Joo seok-hoon! What are you doing?"
He kneeled down and checked my feet, then he stood up.
"Can you walk? Should you even be walking?"
"I don't think that's any of your business."
"I'm . . . worried."
"Don't do this again unless you want to be shot."
I pointed to a man from the side who was pointing his gun at him.
I saw him raise his hand and then apologize.
"Who are they?"
"Bodyguards! Courtesy of my mother."
I smiled, making a flawless lie no one would question.
"What for?"
"How would I know?"
I smiled at him and pointed my finger to the limo.
"I'll be leaving now. Good day!"
I smiled at him before leaving him alone in the parking lot.
. . . .
Seok-hoon pov:
I already knew she wasn't injured. I also know of that lurking bodyguard. He's been following her all day since I first saw her going for her "jog."
'What I don't understand is for what?'
I watch her walk away and enter her limo before going in the direction of my ride. I already sent my sister home so she wouldn't know that I've been meeting Eun-byeol.
I remembered her expression today. Pure shock, curiosity, and somehow happiness.
I enjoy guessing what her expressions are these days.
"Ha eun-byeol. . ."
'Will you really not tell me who you are?'
. . . . .
Eun-bi pov:
When I arrived at the lobby, I first checked if there were any deliveries for me. I was about to leave when a phone in the drawer of the reception caught my eyes.
"Did someone lose their phone?"
"Ah! This one? It's been here for a couple of months already, Miss Ha."
"Whose is it?"
"We're not too sure either. No one seems to be claiming it."
I also don't know why but I just feel like I should take it.
"Ahh. Give it to me."
"Are you sure?"
I looked at them seriously.
"Yes, miss Ha."
They handed the phone to me, and then I headed in the direction of the elevator. I called someone and had all the bodyguards and receptionists transfer elsewhere.
'They've seen me before as Ha eun-bi and even know of my real name. It's better to get rid of any witnesses and evidence.'
I also ordered my manager to erase the copy of Hera palace footage the day I appeared.
As I enter my own place, I head to the shower room and leave the phone on the bedside table.
. . . .
Zeon hotel:
I messaged her to invite her for dinner, but she hasn't been answering.
'Should I cancel our dinner then?'
Just when I was about to have them clean the table when the girl, I was waiting for came. However, I wasn't expecting to see a lady instead.
Dressed in light gold halter straps with a low collar walked like a queen guided by a love-struck waiter.
She's wearing a simple accessory with her dress flowing on the ground.
"I hope I'm not over-dressed."
"I was expecting to see a girl, but I guess the prima ballerina of Russia is not just for show."
I stood up and went to her seat.
"You investigated me. Not so sexy for a man."
"Anyway, my name is Ha eun-bi, also known as Euniece Ha as a ballerina."
"You have another name. Have you forgotten that?"
"That's not my name, just a title given by loyal fans. Are you a loyal fan?"
"Perhaps."
I smiled at her as I pulled the seat for her.
"So, what's dinner?"
. . . .
Ha eun-bi pov:
After finishing my look for the night, I remembered the phone on my bedtable.
I took it from the table and opened it.
I thought I would need Leon's help to gain access, but it's not even locked.
'Why did I get so curious about this?'
'I already have enough problems on my plate!'
'Whose is this?'
I browsed through the galleries, and it made me sit up straight as I continued to browse through her pictures.
"Mom?"
My grip got tighter as I slid through the screen.
Photos of mom and Joo Dan-tae kissing made me puke.
There are also photos of papers of children who got inside Cheong-ah with their connections and photos of my sister getting into Cheong-ah by changing her scores.
When I slid more, I finally saw her photo.
"Min Seol-ah."
"This is your Pandora's box, right? Min Seol-ah!!"
I finally know why you died!
Tears rolled down my glaring expression as my mind remembered the video of Min Seol-ah falling down Hera palace.
Someone killed her.
'Someone pushed her!'
I removed the memory from the phone and opened my own Pandora's box.
After locking the memory card to my box, I took the phone to the microwave and heated it up.
I called my manager to buy me a new microwave before I left.
I wiped the tears that rolled from my eyes while I was leaving.
Dogged with anger, I feel like killing anyone who gets in my way right now.
I met my mother on my way out, and both of us stared at each other.
'From the way you dress, are you going to that trash?'
Before leaving the elevator, I came near her and whispered:
"This will be the last time that I will ever protect you! CHEON. SEO. JIN!!"
I left the elevator before her and went to my limo without giving her time to explain.
I crossed my hand together, putting them together like when someone was praying. Though I'm not really religious.
"I'm sorry, Min Seol-ah! I don't think I can give you the justice you need!"
