Billy's parents had put up a bunch of posters that their son was missing. At the same time the students gathered in the sports hall to talk about the terrible thing that had happend. 

The police worked day and night to find Billy Showalter but they could not find a single lead to find out where he went. They searched in all the woods nearby, in water and knocked on everyone in the area. But they found nothing, not even a body,
