paperboy is missing

Billy's mother quickly walked over to the phone when it started ringing.

"Showalter's Residence" she said

"Hello Mrs. Showalter, may I ask why Billy hasn't been in school today?" his teacher asked. 

"He hasn't? But he went out this morning to deliver newspapers like always, but you know what, Bella isn't home either. Maybe he skipped school today" she said

"Yes, maybe. But you should talk to him when he comes home" the teacher said.

"Yes  I will do that, bye" his mother said and put down the phone. She got a strange feeling inside, Billy wasn't the one to skip school like that. So she decided to go out and look for him. She followed the route she knows Billy usually takes in the morning. As she turned onto the last street she saw Bella sitting by and overturned bicycle. She ran up to the dog who immediately became happy. But she had a bad feeling about this.

Billy's mother picked up the bike and picked up the remaining papers then went home with Bella and called the police. Soon two police cars were outside Showalter's residence asking his mother a bunch of questions.
