Chapter 8: Time

'I was shocked. Danny is more powerful then he said he was, and he lied to us'. The Team and The Justice Legue was checking on citizens, but everone was fine except for the people who kidnapped Danny, but the women escaped somehow. Batman looked to see if anyone them were alive but no, they were all dead.

My shoulder hurts, but it stopped bleeding at least. Batman came over "let's get back to the cave, and have agent A have a look at both of you", He said sternly, I nodded.

I got up slowly while Batman picked up Danny, taking him to the Bat-mobile, I claimed in and made sure Danny was ok. Superman floated down "who is that Batman? how did this happen? how are all the civilians not crushed and only those men are?", Superman asked impatiently, "I will explain later, but right now I have to get them checked", He said monomatly, Superman didn't look happy with that but stepped away.

Bruce jumped in and drove away.

---------------------------------------Danny's POV

'I feel weak',  I opened my eyes, to see lights in my eyes! yay. I closed again and flopped off the bed I was on and opened again. This time I saw, was a cave 'The Bat-cave'  well let's find, the Bat's.

I wondered around the cave finding the trophy and weapons, I listened and found Dick or Robin. He was by Batman by the Bat-computer, I listened in on their conversation.

"uh, Bats I have to tell you something", Robin said softly,

Bruce turned away from the computer, to look at Dick "what's wrong?",He asked, "remember when me and Wally went out of the manor with Danny?", He asked, Bruce nodded, "well their was a robbery happening and as I said, Danny used his powers to save the day... but I left one detail out", Dick grew  silent, "I nearly had a bloody face if Danny didn't stop a brick from hitting me, he destroyed it with his telecinises but a small piece scratched my cheek, and when Danny noticed, he freaked out, he kept saying it was his fault and he couldn't protect me. luckily Me and Wally calmed him down, but he still felt guilty ", Bruce was prosessing the info "so he just freak out, just like that?", Dick nodded, "so when you got shot he...", He didn't finish as they know what happened.

I thought of what happened, Dick got shot because of me. I leaned agansted the wall. I kill people, I know I did.

"Time in",

My eyes widened. I looked around, a portal opened and Clockwork came throw.

"Clockwork!", I ran up to him, he smiled. "hello Daniel, I am sorry I couldn't come sooner", he apoligived. I smiled and shook my head "Its fine, I'm just glad they didn't go after anyone else", Clockwork smiled "how is everyone since I have been gone?", asked. Clockwork looked serious. "At first, everyone panic, the whole Ghost Zone was in chaos. When I and Pandora, got everyone to look for you. OF course I knew where you were, they all asked me to just bring you home, but-", Clockwork stopped and faced away from me, he must of watch what they did to me "I couldn't it would of upset the timeline, I'm so sorry Danny",

I gasp, he never calls me Danny! I hug him "Its okay Clockwork, I'm alive, kind of, and I'm here", I let go of the hug, Clockwork still looked guilty but smiled.

"Daniel, you are going to have to stay low and stay here for a... while, just to be safe okay. You can tell them", he leaned to were Bruce and Dick were " the truth or not its your chioice", I nodded "tell everyone I say hi", he nodded and left.

"Time out"

I found my self back in the room I woke up in. Their was a note on the bed

You should sleep and recover your strenth Don't worry you will sleep

I sigh and lie down and immediately fell asleep

------------Robin's POV----------------------

I went to check on Danny. He was still asleep. Bruce came behind me

"Take him to his room when he wakes up we will explain and ask questions later, alright", Batman said, I nodded and went up the elevator.

I put Danny on his bed and tuck him in, he's very light.

I ran into my room to get change. when I was done I walked to Danny's room, but stopped dead in my tracks, a soft female voice was coming from his room. I open the door slowly and saw a girl, she wore a short light lime green dress with no shoes, her long brown hair swayed to a invisible force. I didn't move-I couldn't move. Danny was trashing in his sleep, having a nightmare , she had a small smile on and began to sing, she had a violin too! 'were did that come from?'

her voice was beautiful- she was beautiful.

Danny stopped moving and calmed down to her voice

When she stopped singing the violin vanished. Then girl looked at Danny then turned to me.

She walked out of his room, she had a kind smile on. Her appearance changed once she was in front of me, she now had short hair and civil clothes on, ripped jeans and a black tank-top with a forest-green hoodie. She looked at me up and down.

"Hello, Dick sorry to interupted you but I have to go", she said snapping me out of my daze "Wait who are you?", She narrowed her eyes at me then nodded "My name is Azalea Undergrowth, and I am a close friend to Danny",  I studied her for a moment "I will not hurt you, or the Prince don't worry", wait Prince? "what do you mean Prince?", I asked. She smirked "oh right, he hasn't told you, Danny here is the Prince of all Ghosts, soon to be King, when he is ready",

"huh? wait Danny is a Ghost?", she nodded "yes and no, he is a Halfa, Bruce knows what that means. When Danny wakes up don't tell him I was here, thanks", she asks.

"why were you here?", she looked at me with a bored expression "Danny has insomnia, he can't sleep well, so me being the Ghost I am, am able to sing him to sleep", I was shocked, 'why didn't he tell me?' Azalea gave me a look then shook her head "I have to go, this conversation never happened ok!", she then turned and disappear.

I went into my room and lied down. Why did Danny keep this from us? did he not trust us? is he scared of something? why didn't Bruce tell me anything?' I sat all night with these thoughts crowding my head. I have a lot of questions for the morning.
