Lucky To Have You

Lucas and athy returned to seoul. They went to pick up ari from max and stephen's house. They ring the bell

  " hey lovebirds you are finally back  huh? Come inside"

stephen invited them. they went in and they all chatted for some time and lucas carried sleeping Arius and covered him with his jacket. They both went home and put ari in his bed. They were exhausted from all the driving so they slept earlier. Next day they are getting ready for their work as usual

" sia.. Achoo.."

" lucas.. See.. This is why I told you  to be careful, now you have cold" athy worriedly handed him tissues.

"I think it's better that I have cold than you" he said sniffing with his tissues. Athy blushed at his comment.

" gosh why are you being so cheesy first thing  in the morning? go and do your work." she pushed him into his office.

"Haah.. but I now  feel kinda sad you know.. If only I didn't have cold I would have kissed that  soft pink cheeks..  why is it suddenly pink... are you  blushing?! haha  don't be so cute or else I also can't control my...ouch "

when lucas was teasing  her, athy throwed a pillow on  him

"shut up "

" Hahaha ok ok"

" samchon eemo" ari called them hurriedly. they rushed to him.

"what what happened ari?" "ari dear what happen?"

" I.. I am sorry" he looked down sadly

" why are you sorry did you break anything?"

" no"

"then..?"

" today.. Today is sports  day in my school  but I forgot to tell you both as  I was  happy playing with uncles, I forgot"

he said with sad face he looked like a wounded puppy. Athy and lucas can't bear to see him sad. they crouched and comforted him

" Haa.. That's it..? I thought you will say something big, ari it's not at all a problem, I am free today I will come with you"

lucas said patting his back.

"yeah I  will also come with you, I already  finished today's work   ( she overworked during that fight) and don't be sorry it's normal for children to forget things even  your samchon  and I also forget things sometimes"

she caressed his cheeks ari nodes happily and hugged both of them.

" aigoo are you sad just because of this.?! why are so being so good boy, girls don't like   boys  who are too good ari. If you want a girlfriend like your eemo you should be a bad boy like me. because your eemo likes me, right sia? "

lucas winked at her. She gasped  and pinched his hand

" ouch.. hey it  hurts " he faked pain.

" OK.. I always  wants to be like samchon..   you are handsome and cool.. Yeah... samchon I will introduce my friends to you today "

he said happily. lucas was happy to see him talking cutely.

" you will be more  handsome and cool  than me when you grow up" he said

" really..?! Hehe" ari was so happy and laughed cutely. Athy and lucas chuckled at his cuteness.

"eemo I don't have to wear uniform today since today is  sports day" he said happily

" really then let's wear matching outfits" athy said enthusiastically clapping her hands.

"huh.. Do we have?" lucas asked confused

" of course we have samchon, we bought it when we went shopping sometime ago " ari said smiling

" is that so..? "

"yes it is,  let's  hurry up you two "

athy patted both of them and gets up to ready for school . Then the three of them left home and went near the elevator

" why is it so crowded here today? "

lucas asked confused athy was adjusting  ari's  hair who is in lucas 's arms. She give it a look and turned to ari

" don't know.. let's just use next one "

" hmm " he hummed they decided to wait outside and walked towards it when they reached everyone is looking at them wide eyed.

" oh... my ari is the cutest boy in the planet, don't listen to him and stay as a good boy OK..? , I love you "

she kissed him and he also kissed her back.

" sia where is mine? " lucas asked with puppy eyes.

" in your dreams " she smacked him

"we are in front of elevator don't ask me this in public places OK?" she whispered

  " then is it OK if I ask in privately ..? " he asked teasingly

" hmm only if you behaves as  a good boy " she giggled

" are you taking revenge for what I said earlier..? you meanie"

they both giggled but stopped when they felt uncomfortable. they turned to see so many people are watching them. They stared at them confused. some of them Just stand there without using elevator. lucas grabbed athy's hand and get on  the elevator and closed the door.

" hey what if someone have to use..? why did you closed suddenly.? " she whispered to him.

" I don't think so.. they were just standing so what..? they can use after some time, let's go"

when they were talking the lift landed on the ground floor. They went to the parking.

" you are right mom.. they were so beautiful I don't know there was a family this cute in our unit!!! " squeeled a girl

" we also don't know, we saw them few  day ago, I asked the apartment president.. She said they were newly married and moved here"

" really..? they are  living   couple goals... wearing matching outfits.. they also loos so  happy.. such a lovely family, mom I want to be like them in future" , that girl started  daydreaming

"haha yes yes you will. Let's go"

that mom take her home. They become hot topic on their unit which they don't even know.

They reached school. And it was bustling with parents, children and so many people. Ari fell asleep on the way

" lucas we should make sure that ari don't miss his parents today" athy said with a sad expression

" hmm. You are right . Let's try our best to Make him happy, I also somewhat curious, I don't know  in korea parents also participate in sports day " lucas said looking around   curiously.

Lucas and athy both studied abroad so they don't know about this events

"  yeah... parents will also  play games along with  their children, I asked anna on the way" athy said

" really..?!! sounds fun" lucas smiled

" they said they also want to see so my friends are coming" athy sighed

"  that's good then I should call my friends too otherwise they will start complaining " lucas texted them

" but why are you sighing?"

" why do you think..? those girls are coming  here as excuse to ditch their works" athy scolded her friends.

"ari wake up.. we are here" . He  rubbed his eyes with both hands and  opened his jewel eyes  looking  at them adorably. Both them held one of his hands and entered the school.

"ari don't let our hands go, then you may  get lost, and if you want go somewhere, tell me I will accompany you, today.. your school is opened to outside so we don't know only parents and relatives will be here may be there would be  some bad people"

lucas said to ari who is  walking half asleep. He silently nodded his head. Athy was smiling at their conversation,

' lucas 's protective and strict dad mode is  on,'

she  thought and giggled, at time likes this he looked reliable to her.

"stop staring I know I am handsome"

she snapped out of her thoughts at his comment and smacked him

"who is staring at you?"

"pfft you are bad at lying" he smirked. Athy ignored him.

"aari where should we go,..? you know eemo and samchon never attended this kind of events   so we don't know what to do.. so, guide us OK?" athy said smiling.

Ari who heared that  got fully woke up

"is that so...?! don't worry eemo.. no problem.. I will tell you everything.. first let's go to that resting place"

he showed a tent where so many people were  sitting and waiting with their child.

"let's sit there, then I will tell you everything" 

"OK sir" lucas saluted and winked

"oww our ari is so reliable" athy patted his head.

"hehe thank you" he said proudly. They laughed at his loveliness.

They reached the tent to sit as usual they attracted everyone's attention. But they were focused on ari's explanation in today's event. Ari listened to his teacher explanation yesterday, so he explained them in detail like his teacher.

"wow you really know all about this huh?"

"yep I listened to teacher when she explained"

" you are so smart" They appreciated him .

" hii guys we are here..!!! " three boys and three girls waved at them in unison

" how come you all are here together?" athy asked surprised

" because of our groups 's senior love birds" ces said

"huh?"  lucas asked confused

" kiel shi came to pick up jenny and we all come along  as freebies "anna  showed herself, ces, max and stephen.

" eemos, samchons  thank you for coming.. ari is soo happy"

he said with bright smile and gave a cute attack to everyone.

" Haa I can't with his cuteness" anna overreacted  clenching her heart

" yaah,!! he is so bright.. my eyes are hurting.." stephen weared his shades. Max and ces sighed at the same time.

" drama queen " "dramaking" kiel and jennet comment at their friends at the same time and giggled.

Athy and lucas are watching them happily and ari is beaming with a smile.

" guys look at me"

max suddenly said to lucas athy and ari looked at him and he is holding a camera

  " three of you looks good in matching outfit so let's take a photo but this place is soo dark" max said

" then let's go there" stephen showed a big tree on the playground

" yeah let's all take so many photos!!come on guys let's go" anna who was excited by the idea  said joyfully.

Everyone started walking there lucas carried ari since he don't want to make him tired before games. Max was focused in his camera that he didn't realised everyone is moving suddenly someone grabbed his hand and dragged him. He looked up to see anna

" come on ,move ..why are standing still..?"

she said with  her brown hair  blowing in the wind  ,her green are looking at him Smiling. Max was surprised by how she can be so friendly with him like they know each other for a long time, but followed her to the spot obediently .

They took a lots of pictures to the point  the boys got tired but the girls never stopped clicking and Arius become a photo prop for them. they squeezed him in the name of fussing. The boys laughed at his poor state and finally saved him form the girls.

" God why the hell  they are taking this much photos?," lucas asked stupified.

" I also don't know but you will Eventually get used to this " kiel who was standing there patiently carrying  ari in his arms and correcting his hair which become a mess by the girls  said.

Lucas and other boys  looked at  his calm demeanour and  understand what he mean and sighed.

" yeah you are my senior in This case so I will follow you" 

lucas said, they both sneered.

"athy come let's go we have so many work to do"

jennet who finally came to her senses from clicking photos like maniac, dragged athy  and friends to  peprare their lunch for which  They brought ingredients on the way. They were  preparing picnic meals which doesn't require fire.

" here thank you for lending.. please send me all the photos leter" anna said with puppy eyes to  glaring max and run away.

"when did you two become this close..? " stephen gasped dramatically.

" cut it out.. I also don't know.. may be she is extrovert type.. she was talking to me like this from the beginning." max said scratching his nape.

" from What I know she is not" kiel said 

" yeah she also talk to me but not that fondly like she is with you" lucas said with smirk getting glimpse of the situation

" oh looks like we are gonna have a new member in our club" kiel told lucas and both of them did a hifi. Max got confused and shut them up. Stephen looked at him with a betrayed look

" max even if she propose to you don't get commited OK..? , don't leave your poor housemate  alone to  join those commited  traitors   you won't right .. ?" stephen pleaded with puppy eyes

" what nonsense are you saying..? Haa I can't with you all"

he shouted at them and went to drink water. He accidentally met eyes with anna on the way and she  smiled and waved at him and backed to her work. Max got surprised by her act

" and what's wrong with her?"

Arius run towards lucas and dragged him with him

" samchoon.. samchon.. come With me, my friends wants to see you"

he happily said dragging him with him. He suddenly felt like flying and looked down to see lucas carrying him and putting him on the air and downed him, patted his head.

" OK ok slow down see how much you are panting. "

he reached the end of the corridor where so many little kids are standing. Lucas put arius down and looked down at  the kids they all are staring at  him awestrucked. He was  now a little comfortable with children after ari came into his life, so he crouched and waved his hand smiling

" hi  guys... I am lucas... nice to meet you all"

" wow..!!uncle you are so handsome"

" yes you look so cool like ari said"

every kid standing there started complimenting him. Which lucas thought adorable, he smiled at them Kindly.

" ari let's exchange our dad's"

one kid in the group said with a serious face, suddenly everyone started arguing who will  Have lucas exchanged for and for what . Lucas was stupified by their argument and  started laughing. Others come and see the kids fighting and lucas laughing

"what's going on here..? why are you  laughing without stopping their fight?" stephen asked.

The kids stopped fighting and looked up to see three handsome man standing there

"wow they all are also so handsome"

"yes that uncle look cool"

"I want to be like that uncle when I grow up"

" no you will not.. I will look like him, you will Look like some Old ajhussi (means uncle)"

everyone started  quarrelling  again. The three of them were dumbfounded by their actions and looked at lucas .

" So this is why you are laughing huh? "

Keil asked chuckling then the of them crouched down and listened to their childish fight then arius introduced his friends to them.

" ari give  me give your uncle I will you my iron man toy "

one boy said. The four men curiously  looked at Arius to hear his reply. Lucas was dying to know what he will Tell. But Arius finally lost his patience.

"are you dumb? How will you exchange  a person for a toy. My samchoon worth more than iron man toy  and  I will not give you my uncle he is not a toy"

he said with a stern face. Everyone went silent. Lucas was surprised to see ari like that. He was so happy to hear that he will not give him to  anyone. After a silence for a while

  " puhahaha"

stephen  burst out laughing 

" no wonder you are raised by lucas... Puhahaha"

" yeah I  seriously thought he is lucas for one minute" max said calmly.

"yeah he was just like junior  lucas  when he talks with a stern face" kiel chuckled.

Lucas got surprised and emotional by their reply. He  got up  carrying  Arius

" OK bye everyone it's fun to meet you all"

lucas waved at  them. then the three also got  up waved their goodbyes. The kids waved them back.

" samchon. I want to go to eemo".

he said pointing at athy who was talking to her friends.

"yeah go" he putted him down he ran towards her

"hey don't run"

lucas shouted to which ari didn't say anything instead responded and started walking.

" luu I was first worried because you are not good with children.. so  how are you gonna raise him.. but it looks like you are raising him well" kiel said patting his back.

"what's there to raise him..? he was smarter than other kids so he will understand everything and since he is a good boy he just obey me there is nothing I did to say I am  Raising him." lucas replied

"no luu he really looks up to you. he wants to be like you that's why he is obeying everything you says." max said

" yeah did you see him just now..? when he is normal he was like athy shi..bright and soft but when he is angry he looks exactly like you the way he speaks his expression everything is like you it's just a proof, how much you two influence his character. I also want to raise a cute kid like ari who will follow me around isn't that so lovely.?! "stephen said and looked at aari who was with the girls.

Lucas felt so happy inside after hearing them. He felt like he is going on the right path in raising ari. He felt overwhelmed in his heart when his friends complimented him.

'Is this how brother would have felt? He thought to himself. A fatherly feeling which I never know I will feel.'he thought to himself and   chuckled.

"Oh are not you ari' s uncle?"

. ari's homeroom Teacher asked.

" yeah I am and you are his homeroom teacher right? Hello"

lucas greets her. She was a woman in her mid frouties she gives a motherly feeling by the way she speaks, may be because  she was with children all the time, she treated lucas and his friends like children, Which made them respect her. She complimented lucas for raising  arius well and complimented how well mannered he was in class. Lucas was filled with happiness.

"oh.. And he was the most handsome boy voted by girls" she said and chuckled.

"like uncle like nephew" stephen whispered and giggled.. Lucas hit him on his tomach with his elbow.

"many tried to be friends with him but he never showed interest in anyone and just plays with boys"

" now I admit with stephen" kiel and max said.

Lucas looked at them and sighed and looked back at teacher

" and there was one event which made most girls hate him" teacher said chuckled

"huh what  happened?" stephen asked curiously

" like his title.. the girls wants to know who was beautiful girl in the class.. so while  arguing, they asked Arius and he didn't even bothered to answer, he was always  mature than his friends, so he always thought they were wasting time, I thought because he was a genius he is thinking differently for his age. "

" that's not only because he is genius teacher, he just take after his uncle that's why " stephen said smirking

" ahh I see so ari takes after his uncle huh haha " the three nodeed on agreement which made lucas shy.

" so just because he didn't bothered to answer  the girls  started  hating him? " max asked with a 'what is his fault in that' look.

The teacher understood his expression and replied

" no.. first of all they didn't leave him alone.. they pestered him for answer so he finally opened his mouth only to say

" none of you is beautiful.. my eemo  is the most  beautiful " she shrigged.

Lucas smirked and the other three laughed.

" now I can understand why he said that he was like his uncle, his standard for girls is soo high "she said staring at  athy and ari    chuckling  which made lucas  shy

" then I will get going please enjoy the day here " the teacher bowed , the four of them bowed back. Then she started moving.

" I will change my statement he was 100% lucas junior.

Cold to outside and soft to his family and friends "stephen stated and two of them nodded.

Lucas felt so happy inside.

" but why he is not calling you dad? "max asked.

" because I told him to  call me Whatever he wants and he calls me samchon "lucas shrugged

" you dummy I am asking the same why he is not calling you dad? "

" because he don't want to replace his real dad with anyone but accept lucas as family but not as his dad. "kiel explained and lucas nodded his head in agreement.

" I also think it's good that he wants to hold his memories with hyung as dad forever with him and not replace it with other things he loves me but as his samchon not dad. His mom and dad.. he never want to Replace them, that's why he calls me and  sia as we are, without changing our relationship, that's so mature of him, ari was way more matured for his age but don't show it out, I  always admire him for that" lucas said with a soft expression,which surprised stephen and max.

They never thought deeply about relationships. They never  thought that what they thought was a small name issue has this much deep meaning.

"wow you two really are  matured so much that I feel like I am Childish now" stephen said smiling, max silently nodded. They both smiled

"you will get mature once you get married" kiel patted his shoulder. They walked towards the girls

" kiel... You will become a great father.."

lucas patted him on the back and smiled soflty. It is kiel's first time seeing lucas expressing his feeling just like how he feel. he normally care for his friends and love them but never shows them out. that's how he care for them silently without words, but after having family lucas is expressing himself more which made kiel  happy, he gently smiled and nodded in happiness.

The events started and Arius and lucas played so well and won many events athy and friends cheered for them and recorded them. The final race was going on everyone waiting to see who will Win.

Ari looked nervous because if they win this race.. they will be mvp. He wanted to become mvp  so he wants to try his best at the same time he was so worried. Lucas who saw that smiled at him

"ari.. Just enjoy the race, run fast and have fun, you  win the race or not  is not at all important, you are always my mvp trophy which I won without knowing it's worth, I am so happy today because everyone said you are a good boy, you did well and so on but you know what made  me even more happy?... Everyone said you take after me and you are  looking up to me... that is why.. I will also try best to live up to your expectation and thank you for choosing to live with me. because of you.. I got  sia and I came to know what family is... Sigh.... See I even become emotional today telling you this cheesy lines but I  mean it.. So don't worry and just run happily..you  Win or loss.. We always love you.. You are the best boy "

he ruffled his hair and went to the end point.

Aari was stunned by what he heard and stood there frozen. He got so happy that he got  such a good uncle and aunt who love  him soo much like his parents. The race started and he started running he forget about mvp trophy even about race by what lucas said earlier. He ranfast  as happy as he feels so he came first even without knowing .

His mind is filled with happiness from the memories he created with his uncle and aunt. He felt so lucky to have a loving family again.

All  He can see is his uncle kneeling  in the finishing line looking at him with a surprised  face recording camera in his hands . He ran fast.. so fast that he can't even hear the cheerings.. he ran fast  and crossed  the red ribbon, when he was about lost balance and fell, lucas carried him up and hugged him. ari hugged him tightly.

"'samchon thank you .. you for being my samchons.. ari is.. so happy.. to have you I.. love you"

he said  with heavily panting. Lucas was in cloud nine after hearing that his eyes teared up..

" hmm.. I love you too.. you did well, you are amazing"

he kissed his forehead and patted his back slowly to ease his panting. others ran towards him and jennete   feeded water to him, ces fanned him,  anna wiped his sweat from Face.  Athy  removed his shoes and massaged his little  feets. stephen was shouting cheerfully and kiel showed  a thumbs up. ari felt little dizzy. Athy looked at him worriedly

"are you okay dear?" he slowly nodded his head and leaned in lucas chest and closed his eyes. Lucas caressed his head slowly

"it's okay sia.. he was exhausted from the race" . Max who is watching the video again said

" he was not even competing with others.. he was just running happily like he was running alone.. Look."

he showed the video to them athy who saw his expression smiled happily

" he forgot about the race.. That's why.. what did you tell him?" she asked lucas.

"huh? What do you mean forgot..? and I didn't said  much.. I just told him to  run happily it doesn't matter if he win or loss" lucas said patting ari softly who is fast asleep.

" I see" she chuckled.

" are you saying he really forgot the race and was just running happily?" max asked confused

" hmm.. He just want to go to lucas so he is running towards him he forgot about the race." She said smiling.

". God..!! Ari is behaving like lucas so much nowadays"

athy said giggling  and took  ari away from lucas to change his clothes which is wet from sweat. Lucas took the camera from max and saw the video again and understood what athy is telling. He started laughing.

Then they had   lunch and ari received the mvp trophy when he wake up and ari's sports day was a happy day for  everyone. ________________

Ps.  Yes.. If you are  thinking  of shipping max and anna you definitely can😉( because they will end up together 😁hehe.. spoiler).

I am also thinking of stephen and ces ship. Don't wanna leave that poor boy stay single 🤭
